Chapter 728 - A dyed baby monkey

Everyone wanted to control laughing but Peter let out a sound and all burst into laughter.

They couldn't believe Arlo called his own son a monkey.

They started pitying the baby thinking he got a heartless father.

Arlo glared at them when Sky woke up by the noise.

"Why are you all laughing?"

Sky's weak nasal sound caused everyone go mute. They didn't dare to say what Arlo said thinking she might feel bad. 

Jai carried the baby from crib to Sky but her expression was ghastly.

That wasn't what others expected.

Sky pulled Arlo's shirt and asked. "Is this baby ours? You are so handsome, I was beautiful before getting fat and ate well to have a cute and adorable baby like Mia. Why is it looking like a dyed baby monkey?"

'A dyed baby monkey' left everyone flabbergasted except Arlo who rubbed Sky's back to console her.

Jai looked at the baby in his arms and sympathized like all others...

Sky kept looking at her sleeping baby who was in the crib while Arlo studied about a newborn baby.

"Honey, he will be fine after some days." Arlo kept his laptop away and fed her brunch hearing her say, "Wow, Little Button is ours... He is just a little pink, that's it."

Arlo hummed leaving Jai's lips to twitch uncontrollably. He wanted to check if they really love their baby or not.

"Little Sister, how about you guys continue romancing and I will take care of Little Button?"

"That's great." Arlo replied instantly. "I will take care of Sky."

Jai: "..."

He had forgotten, Arlo doesn't care about anybody other than his wife.

Sky's reply was different, "Little Button already stealing you from me."

Jai thought Little Button's life was going to be difficult. He looked at the Little Button, "Little Button, you have a mean mother and..."

He couldn't get to finish, Little Button woke up from sleep and started crying. Jai felt like one more added to protect his little sister instead.

Jai gave the baby to Sky arms before going out. Sky was already taught how to feed the baby. She carefully held Little Button who stopped crying and drank milk.

Arlo looked away while his ears turned pink looking at mother and son but soon he heard, "Aww, his eyes are so beautiful."

Arlo grounded his teeth and glared at his son who just drank little milk and fell asleep.

As days passed, Little Button didn't have any wrinkles, and Sky was in love with her baby who was soft, tiny, adorbs. 

Arlo didn't feel left out because Sky found him in their baby. She always connected him with whatever baby's reaction... 

Sky was sitting and crying instead of the baby whenever Little Button got vaccinated. While Arlo took care of his wife, she took care of Little Button.

Sky didn't want any nanny to look after the child so she made sure everybody in the home knew how to change diapers and how to carry Little Button before letting them play with him.

Whenever Little Button cried if nobody could stop him crying, Sky had to just carry him and try to talk, everything would go to silent mode as Little Button was touching her face blinking his eyes and smile at her.

Arlo hardly carried Little Button but everybody was feeling like they were talking in silence. Because Arlo wasn't trying to talk or play and both would just look at each other or sit silently whenever Sky gave Little Button to his hands.

Little Button never cried in Arlo's arms and would fall asleep quickly in his arms whenever Sky was resting from getting tired.

All were expecting some high drama seeing Sky and Arlo's first reaction but the Little Button was very obedient and would only cry whenever he was hungry or diaper was wet...

Sky who woke up in the middle of the night noticed Arlo closing his eyes who was looking at her. She caressed his cheek, "Why aren't you sleeping yet?"

Arlo didn't act, "Just like that."

Sky laid Little Button on the side and kept lots of pillows at the other end even though there was more than two feet distance and went to Arlo's arms who was confused till that.

Arlo embraced her heartily. He had really missed that feeling of keeping the whole Sky in his arms without bothering about whether he might hurt her.

"Your embrace is warmer as always. I love it so much." Sky snuggled near and fell asleep with Arlo.

Sky's morning exercise routine started soon. Arlo didn't want to but Sky wanted to see her former self so convinced him, Jai and David.

Jai preferred being fit and following a good routine which would build discipline and body grows stronger and avoid many health problems.

Arlo was the same but he wanted her to rest some more months but gave in to her request hearing her repeat that she doesn't want to look ugly. 

Jack and Harry continued to train her back to her shape.

Samara was too fond of Little Button who would sit with him in the morning letting her workout.

Sky took Little button to the office too as both alternatively looked after the little one but Sky almost felt like Little button was too boring who was obedient as a puppet...

Seeing the baby crib separator on the bed, Arlo whispered to her, "Want a wedding night?"

Sky flushed like a new bride hearing his enticing tone and pointed at Little Button indicating he would wake up.

Arlo kissed on her ear, "He will not wake up till three, we will finish it before that... I will just come."

Sky blushed and saw him entering the dressing room. She almost felt like she might doze off waiting for him by the time he exited.

Sky was carried to the bathroom which was completely lighted with scented candles. Their life as newly wedded young couple continued.

Soon it was Samara's time for delivery. Jai hadn't gone inside and waited. It wasn't even fifteen minutes, they heard a baby crying.

It was the second celebration in Harley mansion, welcoming the baby girl.

While celebrating, all looked at Ryan when Eugene was talking with him. "What are you still waiting for? Don't you have a girl you like? Or are you interested in men?"

All sealed their lips to control laughing.

Ryan was fl.u.s.tered, "Grandfather, I don't like anyone and I'm not interested in men either."

Eugene hummed, "Doll, do you know any good girl suitable for Ryan? Arrange a date for them."

"Grampy, I will arrange it."

Ryan: ⊙_⊙

"Today itself. Arrange dinner for them."

Ryan: ⦿_⦿ 

"I will do it now." Sky said and took Arlo's mobile.

Loran asked in a low voice, "Ivy Reed?"

Sky nodded and called to hear, "Sister Sky?"

"Ivy, are you free to go on a business dinner with Ryan. I and Arlo can't go with him."

Ivy was his assistant so she agreed without a second thought. Sky mentioned time and venue before informing Eugene.

Ryan was on verge of crying but he didn't dare speak against Eugene.

He stormed towards Sky and was about to rebuke her, Sky spoke, "I know you don't want to date. I called your assistant. So relax and have dinner with her."

"Oh..." Ryan fell into the trap and didn't notice Sky giggling sitting with Eugene.

Well, Ryan and Ivy were too slow. Sky arranged different and fake business dinners for them until they planned going out.

The Barton family had returned, Eugene too left to his manor after hearing Sky's tons of nagging.
