Alan was in a state of disbelief. He watched in amazement as the man efficiently utilized the island's resources. The expert was using a giant crab to cut a psychic energy stone with impressive precision.
"This level of resourcefulness is unparalleled," Alan thought to himself.
Standing at a safe distance, Alan kept a watchful eye on the expert as he skillfully manipulated the crab to cut the stone. Alan then climbed into a nearby coconut tree to gather some coconuts, realizing their value as a resource. As he looked around, he noticed that the crab seemed to be the only one left on the island. Had it eaten all the others?
"Did you come from the other side of the island?" asked Ming, as he dodged an attack from the crab and collected some broken pieces of psychic energy stone from the ground.
"Yes," replied Alan, lying on top of the coconut tree and using a small knife to cut down the coconuts. He glanced over at the expert, who was skillfully using the crab, and then looked back at himself, feeling the gap between them seemed insurmountable.
"Are there any other psychic energy stones on the other side of the island?" asked Ming, as he climbed onto a giant rock and waited for the crab's claws to swing over before jumping down.
With a crack, several pieces of psychic energy stone fell to the ground.
"I think I've cut all the coconuts," Alan said as he slid down the tree and began gathering coconuts. He couldn't help but wonder, "Is the expert planning to use this crab to cut the psychic energy stone of the entire island?"
Alan was in awe of the expert's ability to utilize the island's resources so efficiently.
Ming dodged another attack from the crab and turned to Alan, who was picking coconuts.
"Are you a puppeteer?" Ming asked curiously.
"Um...yes," Alan hesitated, feeling a bit embarrassed that he no longer had any puppets in his possession.
"How do you control puppets?" Ming inquired.
"I capture them alive and establish a spiritual connection with them," Alan explained.
"Alive?" Ming asked, hoping for a different answer.
Although Alan's puppeteering skills were ordinary, Ming still hoped to learn something from him.
"Yeah, I tried it with dead ones, but it didn't work," Alan explained.
"I see," Ming replied, feeling a bit disappointed. He had some corpses in his inventory that could only be used as worm food. However, he still had Wendy, Luviagelita, and Jessica who were all alive.
"Can you do me a favor?" Ming asked as he collected more psychic energy stones.
"..."
Alan was stunned. The expert was asking for his help? Was he finally going to be useful? Was the expert planning to kill the crab? Alan was looking forward to gaining some valuable experience.
"What do you need me to do?" Alan asked eagerly.
"Go to the mountaintop and check if my psychic energy stones are in the volcano crater!" The expert replied.
"..."
Alan, who was holding his knife and preparing for a fight, felt a twinge of disappointment. He realized that the expert had simply asked him to run an errand. His words indicated that he owned all the psychic energy stones on the island.
"Okay," Alan said, picking up his knife and quickly climbing up the mountain.
Ming, watching Alan climb the mountain, thought to himself, "He's also a kind person." Ming continued to dodge the crab's attacks as he harvested the psychic energy stones. He had used his eagle eyes to confirm that the crab was a one-star king level. Although it was large and had powerful attacks, it couldn't keep up with his speed.
Ming looked up at the mountain and saw that Alan had already climbed halfway up. He quickly shifted his gaze away and continued working with the crab.
"..."
Suddenly, Ming remembered that his pets were still in his pocket. He quickly threw them into the nearby bushes, hoping they wouldn't feel too dizzy from all the shaking.
After a while, Ming heard a loud exclamation of "Oh my God!" coming from the mountaintop.
"..."
Looking up, Ming saw that the small crab had knocked the knife out of Alan's hand, causing him to shout and run down the mountain.
"..."
Ming estimated that the crab was only the size of an ordinary crab, not even as tall as Alan's thigh. However, its colorful appearance under sunlight made it shell quite attractive.
After running down the mountain, Alan climbed into a coconut tree, but the crab quickly followed him up. In a panic, Alan jumped down from the tree and took out a spear, attempting to stab the crab. However, the crab caught the spear with its pincers and broke it in half.
Alan was stunned, but he quickly drew another knife, only to have it knocked out of his hand by the crab and broken as well.
"Hey!" Ming dodged another attack and looked at the small crab. "Aren't you a puppeteer? Can't you control it?"
"No, I can't! I tried just now, but its psychic power is stronger than mine, so I can't control it!" Alan replied as he continued running.
"Stronger than yours?" Ming looked at the one-star king-level crab that was helping him cut the psychic energy stones.
This big crab only had a psychic power of 11. Was the small one even stronger?
Could your psychic power really be lower than 11?
With these questions in mind, Ming quickly used his Eagle Eyes to check the small crab.

"It can grow?" Ming was excited by the prospect.
Unlike Wendy and Luwia, this little crab had the potential to grow stronger. Its high psychic power indicated that, with proper cultivation, it could become as intelligent as his frogs. If it grew well, it might even reach king-level combat power or be even stronger.
"It's really a good crab!" Ming exclaimed.
"Your frogs are watching Alan being chased by a small crab and they think he's a bit useless... Look at Ming, dealing with such a big one, it's like child's play"
Foodie nudged Da Vinci and said, "The big one can be eaten, and the small one can be friends." Da Vinci licked his tongue and replied, "The small one's meat is even more tender." Foodie immediately jumped out of the grass and used his collection ability to capture the small crab, successfully adding it to their collection.
Your pets returned to the grass and watched as you continued to deal with the big crab. They were eager to return home and feast on the small crab, which they were certain would be a delicious treat.
Ming was still pondering how to catch the small crab when he realized that the frogs had already collected it. He was impressed by their thoughtfulness and relieved that he wouldn't have to spend any more time trying to catch it.
Meanwhile, Alan was still running around the coconut grove.
