"Do you remember the day I went to the sewer to find you and asked you to join me for a random map?"
Mike sighed, "After that day, I gained the courage to enter a personal map. I'm up here, and it's been five days already."
Ming looked at the haggard man before him, took out a coconut, and handed it over, "It's not a big deal; you're just unlucky. Have a coconut~."
"I'm not hungry..." Mike took the coconut and stored it in his inventory, saying, "I already ate in the trash can."
"..."
Ming glanced at the trash can and then back at Mike. He thought, you say you're not hungry, but you were pretty quick to take the coconut...
!! Woof woof! At this moment, the hospital building became lively as the psychic hunting dogs and zombies began to fight.
"Let's deal with the zombies first. We can talk about your tragic story later." Ming said as he walked forward with his shotgun.
Mike followed him, the look of sadness on his face replaced by a burning desire for revenge deep within his heart. He had been trapped here for five days, and his anger had reached its boiling point. Today, he was determined to kill these zombies!
"I'll clear the way for you!" Mike said, holding a shield and a long knife, as he charged up the stairs to the first floor, ready to start a bloody battle. But he was stopped by Ming, who pulled him back.
"?" Mike didn't understand. "What's going on?"
"Why are you charging in? We need to find out the situation inside the building. Besides, the rooms are small and not suitable for fighting."
"So, what do you suggest?"
"We wait here and let the zombies come to us."
"Got it!"
"Let's get to work then."
As Ming spoke, he took out steel plates and began building a steel wall around the entrance of the hospital building. Mike followed his instructions, also taking out steel plate modules and building alongside him.
They constructed a three-sided wall, with the opening facing the entrance of the building. Then, they each took a corner of the wall, and Ming took out an axe, slamming it against the steel plates to create loud banging noises, attracting the zombies inside the building.
Suddenly, he was startled by a sharp sound. Turning his head, he saw Mike holding a large horn, puffing his cheeks, and blowing into it. Mike turned to Ming and smiled, "Honestly, I had a part-time job in a band before the apocalypse."
"Don't talk~ Keep playing~"
Ming put away his axe, crouched on the wall, and waited. With Mike here, there was no need for him to do anything. He hadn't expected Mike to have such a unique skill.
At this point, a few regular zombies emerged and were shot down by Ming's crossbow.
[Your frogs crawled out of your pocket, looking at the guy playing the horn. Da Vinci narrowed his eyes, thinking the sound resembled a funeral dirge... Foodie listened and felt like sleeping, but it didn't dare to, fearing it might wake up in heaven...]
"..."
Ming frowned. After such a long time, why were there no new zombies appearing?
"Sunglasses man," Mike panted, hands on his hips, "It's been quite a while. Why aren't any more zombies coming? Are they deaf?"
Ming suggested, "Try playing a more cheerful tune~."
"..." Mike hesitated, thinking the tune shouldn't matter but chose to change to a different song anyway.
[Your frogs suddenly widened their eyes. Da Vinci was most excited, wanting to tell you to take advantage of the night, the cheerful tune, and marry Wendy...]
[Foodie, listening to the tune, thought of koi fish and asked if you could take that guy home, as he seemed like a pretty lovely person~]
"..."
Ming stuffed the two frogs into his pocket, "Don't worry about that, you guys. Go to sleep."
Just then, a large wave of zombies rushed out!
"Damn! They're coming!" Mike shouted, excitedly standing up and ready to jump down with his shield and knife.
"Don't move! I'll handle this!" Ming held his crossbow, "Keep playing the music to lure them all out."
"..."
Mike hesitated, watching Ming shoot the crossbow even faster than before. The speed was almost on par with a machine gun. When did Sunglasses Man become so powerful?
"Play faster! The zombies can't keep up!"
Ming stood on the steel wall, shooting with his right hand while holding a repair scroll card in his left, repairing and shooting simultaneously. Most of the zombies in front of him were ordinary, with a few elite zombies mixed in, unable to withstand his rate of fire.
Standing to the side, Mike played the horn, thinking this was a good deal. All he had to do was play music and get experience and gold coins. It couldn't get any better than this.
All the zombies in sight were wiped out in just a few minutes! At this point, two blue, glowing, five-star Lord zombies appeared. One charged at the horn player and the other at the crossbowman.
Mike shouted, "Lords!"
"Keep playing, don't stop!"
Ming jumped off the steel wall, took his chainsaw, and charged toward them. With his new shoes and pants, he didn't need to activate his maximum speed to deal with five-star Lords. He blocked their path, swung the chainsaw, and, along with the beautiful music, cut legs, arms, and heads!
As Mike watched Sunglasses Man defeat the two five-star Lords, his experience and gold coins soared! He immediately changed to a different tune to express his excitement.
Heh heh!!
Two more five-star Lords charged out. Ming snapped his fingers, and the psychic eagle swooped towards one zombie, grabbing its shoulder and flying high into the sky.
The other Lord-level zombie lunged at Ming, who continued to cut it down with his chainsaw. After killing the Lord-level zombie before him, the other fell from the sky and was sliced open by the chainsaw. All five Lord-level zombies were defeated.
"Come down and collect the cards."
Ming called out to Mike and then checked the map progress, finding that only the final boss was left.
"Should we go in or wait for it to come out?" Mike asked, picking up the cards Ming left for him.
"It's best if we can lure it out. It'll save us some trouble."
Ming looked up at the entire building, 25 floors. Searching floor by floor would be a waste of time.
"Alright!"
Mike finished collecting the cards, lifted the horn, and played another tune, but unfortunately, the final boss still didn't appear.
"..."
Ming stood at the entrance of the building with his shotgun, pondering. Mike came over and said, "Is the noise not loud enough for it to hear?"
"Maybe..."
"Let's make some louder noise together to lure it down!"
"I don't know how to play any instruments..."
"Don't worry; I have a gong here; it's easy~."
"..."
Ming put the frogs aside and took the gong...
