Chapter 28: Uno reverse!A burst of icy frost energy erupted, sending a chilling wave through the air. The ground around it instantly froze, forming a delicate layer of frost that spread rapidly. The nearby lake also succumbed to the freezing blast, its surface quickly turning into a solid sheet of ice. Trees and the hut were coated with a shimmering layer of frost, and the air turned biting cold, transforming the warm landscape into a frigid, sparkling winter scene.
"You got your memories back?" Yun Wuji ignored the ice and stared at Yuechan, eyes wide with surprise. He'd always known she would regain her memories eventually, but seeing it happen was still a shock. A wave of panic hit him, what if she decided to leave him now that she remembered everything?
However, he quickly gathered his composure and began to assess the situation with a clear mind. He'd already come up with over five plans to handle this situation. The only question now is which one to use.
"Let go!" Chu Yuechan commanded with icy coldness.
Despite the earlier explosion and the chaos it caused, it hadn't been enough to pry them apart.
'This isn't the worst-case scenario, I've got this,' he thought, as he looked at the situation. It wasn't as bad as he'd first feared. If she had wanted to leave, she would have done so quietly while he was away. The fact that she was still here meant that deep down she didn't really want to go.
She just needed a reason to stay.
He took a step back, putting some distance between them.
Chu Yuechan turned around and looked at him, her face a mix of emotions, shame, anger, and a hint of longing all showing in her eyes.
Even though she lost her memories, it didn't mean she had some sort of split personality or disorder. Everything she felt and experienced during this time was real and came from her own heart.
The joy and tender moments she shared with him were genuine, not just fleeting feelings. She truly lived them, and they were a part of her.
Her feelings for him remain unchanged, even now that her memories have returned. Otherwise, she would have left immediately and gone back to her sect without a second thought.
When she recovered her memories, she felt anger and shame, but these emotions were directed toward her.
She was angry at herself for behaving so shamelessly.
She actually s..sucked someone's dick, doing all these shameless positions, role plays, and even bugged him to put in her back hole!
Princess and the orc, sister-in-law and her brother-in-law, sect master and disciple, widow and her son, and more.
Just thinking about all the shameless things she'd done made her body shake with anger and embarrassment. So, when she heard Yun Wuji calling himself 'daddy,' it set her off. She reacted without thinking, unleashing her ice profound energy.
"Little Fairy, what's going on?" Wuji asked, clearly puzzled as he took a few steps closer, not paying much attention to her expression.
"Stop! Don't come any closer!" Chu Yuechan said, her voice shaking. A sword appeared in her hand as a warning. She was still struggling with her emotions and wasn't sure how to face him.
"Getting your memories back is a good thing. Why are you reacting like this?" He ignored her warning and gave her a friendly smile as he moved closer.
Swoosh!
"I told you to stop!" Panicking, she acted on instinct and attacked, stabbing him.
Blood sprayed everywhere!
'Success!' he sighed in relief as he felt the sword pierce his chest. Seeing her expression, he quickly understood her state of mind and decided to use it to his advantage. It was time to finish this and force her to make up her mind.
Instead of giving her a reason to stay, it is better to make her face her feelings.
If he dragged things out or waited too long, it would take ages to get their relationship back to how it was. Especially, since she'd be dealing with a lot of stress from her sect's rules and her master's disappointment.
"You!" His eyes widened in shock, and you could see the hurt and disbelief on his face. He was clearly struggling to wrap his head around what just happened. "You actually attacked me!"
"No! I... I didn't mean to!" Chu Yuechan's voice cracked as she shook her head, clearly distressed. Her eyes were wide with regret and panic. "Why didn't you dodge it?!"
She had attacked on impulse, without meaning to hurt him. She was completely caught off guard when her strike actually broke through his defense and landed a hit.
"After everything we've been through..." He staggered back, each step a struggle as the sword was wrenched from his chest. His face was a mask of disbelief and pain, his voice trembling with a mix of pain and shock. "I never imagined you'd hate me this much."
"No! Wait, I didn't mean it!" Chu Yuechan stepped forward, reaching out desperately to stop him, her voice filled with panic and regret.
"I get it," Wuji said, dodging her outstretched hand with a swift movement. He leaped into the air, his expression a mix of hurt and resignation. "If you really want me gone and can't stand me being close, then I'll leave."
He turned and soared into the sky, his figure growing smaller against the horizon.
"Wuji! Stop! Wait!" Chu Yuechan's voice was filled with panic as she shot after him, her heart pounding as she desperately tried to close the distance.
"..." He ignored her and sped up, leaving her behind.
"Wait! Wuji, please listen to me!" Chu Yuechan shouted, desperately urging all her profound energy into catching up. Tears streamed down her face as she was overwhelmed with regret and frustration over her indecisiveness and foolishness.
He saved her life twice, took her in when she was most vulnerable, he meticulously took care of her and pampered her like a princess. He also removed the ice energy from her body, extending her life, opening all her profound veins, and even improving the Frozen Clour arts removing all the hidden danger in it, something all her ancestors failed to do!
And now, in return, she was pushing him away!
"Please! Wait..." Her voice cracked as she watched him drift further away, his figure shrinking into the distance. Her heart felt like it was being stabbed with a poisoned needle, a sharp, relentless pain that made it hard to breathe. "Wuji!"
She kept chasing him, but Wuji was too fast, and soon his figure disappeared.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it..." She finally landed on the ground and fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she sobbed and whispered her apologies.
She regretted it so much. Why had she done something so stupid? Why couldn't she just face
him openly?
"Why are you crying?" Suddenly, his voice cut through her sobs. She looked up, her face flushed and streaked with tears, her eyes wide with surprise and disbelief. Sёarch* The Novelƒire(.)ne*t website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
"Wuji! Is it really you?" She leaped into his arms, clutching him tightly like a koala, her grip
desperate as if she feared he might disappear. "Don't leave! I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean
it!"
"Hmm, I won't leave!" He gently patted her head, trying to soothe her. She always loved it when he did that.
Even though his plan had worked, he didn't feel any joy.
His approach had been pretty straightforward: create sense of urgency to force her to confront her feelings. By doing so, she would cast away all her hesitation and external
worries.
Seeing Yuechan crying in front of him, he couldn't help but feel guilty. He didn't want to manipulate her. A relationship built on lies and tricks would eventually fall apart, no matter if it lasted a thousand years or even a million. It would crumble sooner or later.
If it wasn't because he had no choice, he never would've resorted to something like this. He took a deep breath and promised himself that it would be the last time he would do
something like that to her.
But before that...
"You said you're sorry," he said, lifting her chin with a smile. "Prove it!"
"Hmm~" She blushed at his smile and, feeling shy, leaned in and gave him a gentle kiss.
"Punish me please, Daddy~"
I'm pretty disappointed with this chapter. I didn't manage to fully convey what I wanted. It feels like the worst chapter I've written so far.
