Chapter 64 Tier 4 Dungeon Golem, Easy Victory

Alex approached the massive golem standing ominously in the center of the room.

Its rocky form loomed over him, towering at least 20 feet tall, its body covered in ancient moss and cracked stone.

The air felt thick with power, and the closer he got, the more palpable the energy surrounding the golem became.

Ding!

[You have encountered "Dungeon Golem" (Level 100) (Tier 4 Epic Boss)]

[Health: 400,000]

[Skills: Rock Smash, Smaller Golems Summoning, Earthen Fortify]

"Huh?" Alex furrowed his brow.

This wasn't here before.

In his past life, boss panels only showed basic information like the name, level and health, never details like skills.

He had never seen this before.

"The power of my eyes, human. Enjoy them!" The mocking voice of the Undead King echoed in his mind, laughter reverberating through his skull.

"So that's the [Cursed Eyes of the King]..." Alex muttered to himself.

It seemed the cursed power he had inherited granted him this new level of insight.

But insight wasn't enough.

He had a fight ahead of him.

The golem's massive, stone limbs shifted as it slowly turned to face him.

Without warning, the fight began.

The golem raised its arm and swung with immense force, slamming a fist into the ground where Alex stood.

BOOM!

Alex dodged just in time, feeling the shockwave ripple through the floor.

"Go!" Alex commanded, his army of skeletons and undead charging forward.

The Bone Knight led the assault, followed by the Greater Skeletons and the Spectral Wraith, but the golem wasn't alone.

With a deafening roar, ten smaller golems materialized from the surrounding stone, each one roughly half the size of the Dungeon Golem.

Ding!

[You have encountered "Smaller Golems" (Level 100) (Tier 4)]

[Health: 100,000]

[Skills: Rock Punch, Stone Fortify]

"Seriously?!" Alex cursed under his breath.

This was more than he had bargained for.

Not only did he have to face the main golem, but now there were ten more to deal with.

The smaller skeletons charged first, but Alex could already tell this wasn't going to end well.

The first wave of attacks landed on the smaller golems, but...

-1! -1! -1!

The damage numbers were pathetic.

Even with the buffs from his [Aura of Death], the weaker skeletons barely scratched the surface of the smaller golems' rocky skin.

The golems retaliated with brutal efficiency, crushing the skeletons one by one.

CRASH!

A Smaller Golem swung its massive arm, shattering two skeletons in a single hit.

The bone fragments scattered across the floor as Alex's undead army was reduced to dust in seconds.

"They're way too strong for the skeletons..." Alex gritted his teeth.

He had expected a challenge, but this was getting ridiculous.

He still had his stronger units left, but they were also getting overwhelmed.

The Greater Skeleton lunged forward, its axe swinging at the main golem.

The fireball hit hard, but it was just the beginning.

Alex continued his assault, casting spell after spell.

"Thunderclap Bolt!" Lightning crackled through the air as the bolt of energy struck the golem, sending a shockwave through its stone body.

-14,309!

The golem tilted, but it wasn't backing down.

It swung its massive fist toward Alex, but he was already moving.

His agility allowed him to dodge the attack, rolling to the side and preparing his next spell.

"Rock Crash!" A giant boulder materialized in the air before slamming into the golem with a thunderous crack.

-5,000!

The damage was adding up, but the golem wasn't done.

It summoned more rocks, hurling them at Alex with terrifying speed.

One of them grazed his side, knocking him off balance.

-632!

His health bar dipped slightly, but with his Superior Awakener's Set granting him high physical resistance, the damage was minimal.

He could endure this.

The smaller golems tried to interfere, but the Bony Knight and Spectral Wraith held them at bay, dealing steady damage.

Alex dashed forward, pulling out his dagger.

His spells were draining his mana too quickly, and he needed to conserve energy for the final phase of the fight.

Several arrows appeared around the golem as he approached.

"Huh?"

[The Cursed Eyes of the King are guiding you.]

[Aim for these spots to deal more damage!]

These crimson arrows were pointing at several spots: the back of the knees, the eyes, the top of the head...

"Alright."

He slashed at the golem repeatedly, aiming for the weak spots his [Cursed Eyes] had highlighted.

-947!

-1223!

-1034!

Each strike chipped away at the golem's health, but it was a slow, grueling process.

Finally, after what felt like hours of relentless fighting, the Dungeon Golem's movements slowed.

Its massive form cracked and crumbled as its health dwindled.

"This is it!" Alex gritted his teeth, casting one final spell. "Fire Vortex!"

A swirling inferno erupted around the golem, consuming it in flames.

The golem roared in pain as its stone body disintegrated into ash.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

[Global Announcement: "FateBreaker" is the first player to reach the Dark Dungeon's tenth floor.]

[Global Announcement: "FateBreaker" is the first player to...]

[Global Announcement: ...]

The message repeated three times, echoing throughout the world of 'Universal Descent'.

Alex dropped to his knees, breathing heavily as the adrenaline slowly faded.

His body ached, and his mana reserves were nearly depleted, but he had done it.

A new panel appeared in front of him.

[Extraction talent activated.]

A grin spread across Alex's face. The rewards were going to be worth it.
