Sterl had no time to think further.

He merely focused on the location of the Will of Hell beyond the waves.

With Fission enhancing his power, Destructive Light burst forth, radiating dazzling particles!

Before the attack could fully materialize, the intense heat evaporated a substantial portion of the rainbow-colored Polluted Blood waves!

In that moment, the Will of Hell and the remaining two deities felt a tremendous shock!

They sensed, in the blink of an eye, the aura of a deity appearing!

They weren't foolish; they finally realized that Mephistopheles was the hidden sixth divine-level entity!

However, this revelation didn't concern the two deities—what did it matter if another divine-level entity appeared? They were still destined to die.

The Will of Hell was indifferent—

Gods were of no consequence!

Under the Blood of Contamination, the sixth divine-level entity would be instantly corrupted and worn down!

The Will of Hell's embodiment surged toward the rainbow-colored Polluted Blood waves, ready to extract the soul of the sixth divine-level entity for the purpose of refining the Origin of Chaos.

But then...

The two deities and the Will of Hell suddenly froze, simultaneously sensing an overwhelming aura of death!

It was clear that the new god was behind this!

Not only had he not perished within the Blood of Contamination, but he could also retaliate??

At the same time, the rainbow-colored mist rapidly dispersed, revealing a massive void in the waves.

"Is there more to this?"

"Could it be that his earlier disappearance was just a buildup of power?"

"Good! Good! Good! Will of Hell, you're going to die!"

The two deities roared, their expressions wild with madness.

They could dissolve so much Blood of Contamination in one go, yet they felt the threat of death growing ever more severe.

This could only mean...

The new god's technique was still in the accumulation phase, and it already possessed such terrifying power. Imagine what it would be like when fully unleashed.

The two deities were neither joyful nor sorrowful; they were simply frantic, shouting with fervor!

They anticipated the destruction of Will of Hell along with themselves!

As for the Will of Hell, it had initially charged forward but abruptly halted.

"No! This is impossible!"

For the first time, the one who had seemed so self-assured revealed a hint of panic.

Feeling the commotion outside, Sterl couldn't help but think, "If Licitris were still alive, he would probably be quite pleased to see me unleash such a move."

"At least he wouldn't be wearing that expression of despair like before..."

Sterl briefly lost focus.

"Wait, is this really the time to be thinking about such things?"

He extinguished the distractions in his mind and concentrated on the battlefield.

Normally, Sterl would have been able to unleash the Destructive Light and strike Will of Hell.

But Sterl felt parched, a fire burning within him.

He poured Divine Power into his attack with reckless abandon!

It was almost to the point of wastefulness!

"The embodiment of the will of the entire layer of hell is not so easily dealt with."

He convinced himself, using this rationale to justify his slight madness.

The power consumed by the Fission divine authority was horrendous, and under Sterl's full exertion, the Divine Power he had previously siphoned was drained in an instant!

Buzz!

Buzz!

Buzz!

Before the phantom of the Demon of Terror and Cruelty, high-energy reactions surged; the space shattered and trembled, with even the Demon of Terror and Cruelty itself swaying precariously, nearly on the brink of collapse!

Fueled by the power of ascension to godhood, Sterl abandoned all pretense. He manipulated the spell in his hands, swiftly seizing all remaining permissions of the Array of Seizing Heaven and Creating Fate.

As they were engulfed in the light of destruction, they disintegrated into ashes—not because Sterl had targeted them with his attack, but because the two respected deities understood they were doomed and chose to observe the annihilation of the Will of Hell from the closest possible distance!

They watched in shock as "Mephistopheles" emerged, and their hearts swelled with pride!

"Good! Good! Good!"

"To witness such a genius before death is worth it!"

"Solomon, no wonder the upper realms are trying to hunt you down; with your abilities, you might one day truly reach the pinnacle of Transcendence!"

"To leave our mark on your journey through life is what true immortality is all about!"

They laughed heartily...

Only to be completely dissipated in the Destructive Light!

In their final moments, the two deities, along with the last remnants of consciousness of the Will of Hell, looked at the approaching "Mephistopheles" and suddenly felt an incredibly absurd sensation rise within them.

"Wait a minute, buddy."

"You could take down the Will of Hell in one blow."

"Your power completely overwhelms him."

"So why did you run away earlier? Couldn't you have just attacked directly?"

In an instant, the two deities' bravado evaporated, leaving only confusion and bewilderment.

The Will of Hell also felt as if he had died without understanding why!

Sterl, hearing the two divine-level beings' bold exclamations, was unaware of their subsequent confusion.

Thus, he couldn't help but reflect.

"Damn! Two divine-level souls are gone!!"

He muttered aloud.

Originally, those two souls could have served as nourishment for the Fire of Ten Thousand Souls, but now they were simply gone.

Who would have thought the two gods would choose to die themselves??

Sterl grumbled, being quite frugal, and proactively shut down his ascension to godhood as he flew forward.

"Finally, it's over..."

"This journey through hell has exhausted me."

"Wait, what's this?"

"Ah, it can be like this too?"

He vaguely sensed that after he had killed the beings in hell, a new game feature seemed to have unlocked.

[Lord Module].

As the vanquisher of the Will of Hell, Sterl could control this layer of hell as his own territory. He could check the loyalty of those who descended into this layer of hell, monitor the soldiers' morale, construct various buildings, develop technology, and even establish sects within his territory to gain the power of faith.

Sounds pretty useful.

"Not bad..."

After saying this, Sterl fell into silence, for he realized he had no good mood left at all.

It wasn't just that the final performance had no audience, leaving only a vast emptiness.

But rather...

"Alright, I admit it, I regret taking down Licitris a bit," he mumbled while standing in a void.

Sterl wasn't a native player; he had studied psychology...

He recalled the marvelous metaphor about heroes and sirens that had surfaced in his mind when he first encountered Licitris. Clearly, the siren, who had used all her charms and failed to win over the hero, ultimately chose self-destruction.

And when Sterl had betrayed Licitris in the most complete way, he still hadn't severed her love for him.

He discovered that he, too, had been inexplicably bound by rising emotions...

"It doesn't matter."

In the end, Sterl opened his eyes once more.

He chose to confront his inner self and ultimately confirmed—

Even if given a second chance, he wouldn't change his decision.

To become stronger, he was prepared to sacrifice everything!

Sterl's gaze was intense! In the midst of his turbulent emotions, he experienced a boost in his soul without even absorbing the Fire of Ten Thousand Souls.

He leveled up!
