C6 – If I Want to Leave Even the Gods Can’t Stop Me!

When the chilling voice echoed from outside the main hall, everyone squinted their eyes in anticipation.

All gazes shifted toward the source of the voice—a young man.

His posture was as rigid as a steel spear forged in the flames of battle, with eyes that sparkled as if they harbored lightning. Clutching a simple steel sword, he exuded a formidable presence.

He strode in, oblivious to the onlookers, as a gust of wind swept through, lifting his garments and creating a whispering sound.

In that moment, the only sound in the main hall was the rustling of his clothes.

The crowd appeared to be spellbound.

Who in this world could possess such an air of elegance?

No one could provide an answer, for such a person had never been seen before.

Despite his youth, he carried his sword with the air of a Sword Dao master who had practiced for millennia—confident, haughty, domineering, powerful, and dismissive of all else.

Princess Qingyuan’s delicate eyebrows arched in admiration.

Astonishment crossed her face.

Lord Dai stood up with a clap, exclaiming, “Liu Xingchang, you killed my son, and yet you dare to enter my home!”

Liu Xingchang paid him no heed, merely casting a glance at the matchmakers who scurried away as if they had encountered a ghost.

He lifted Liu Xinchang’s veil, gazing at the tear-streaked girl before him, and spoke with gentle assurance, “You’ve been through a lot.”

Tears welled up in Liu Xinchang’s eyes as she cried out, “Brother!”

Liu Xingchang tenderly stroked her head, soothingly saying, “Come, let’s go home. Dinner is ready, and we’ve made your favorite dish—fish-flavored shredded pork. It’s all waiting for you.”

Although Liu Xinchang was deeply concerned for her brother and wished he hadn’t risked his life to come, the sight of her beloved sibling in such a moment was too much to bear. She burst into tears and flung herself into Liu Xingchang’s embrace.

Liu Xingchang gently patted his sister’s back, feeling a surge of warmth in his heart.

In his past life, Liu Xingchang had roamed the rivers and lakes alone, with the sky as his roof and the earth as his bed. Now, with a family to call his own, the sense of warmth ignited a fire within him.

Liu Xingchang gripped his sword tightly and made a silent vow that from this moment forward, no one would ever harm Xin again.

“My beauty, my beauty, you dare not touch him!”

Carrying his sister, Liu Xinchang, and wielding a simple three-foot-three-inch steel sword, he stood there calmly, his face betraying no emotion. His eyes were like a still, ancient well, undisturbed and serene, as if nothing in the world mattered to him.

This confidence was innate, emanating from deep within his bones.

With his back to Lord Dai, Liu Xingchang quietly faced the oncoming tide of armored soldiers and declared, “Unless I choose not to leave... if I wish to go...”

Lord Dai sneered, “And if you wish to leave, then what?”

A sharp gleam suddenly burst from Liu Xingchang’s eyes, “If I wish to leave, not even gods or devils could hold me back!”

No sooner had the words left his mouth than Liu Xingchang surged into the throng of armored soldiers like an arrow.

Armed with only his sword, Liu Xingchang was untouchable; no one could come within three feet of him as the blade flashed with chilling brilliance.

Hot blood splattered across Liu Xingchang’s face and body, and metaphorically, it splashed upon the hearts of those watching.

The armored soldiers that swarmed the mansion proved no match for Liu Xingchang’s sword, crumbling before him as easily as tofu.

Liu Xingchang carved a path of destruction through the enemy ranks as if he were walking through deserted land. With every step, he claimed ten lives, moving with the ease of someone taking a leisurely walk, plucking lives as effortlessly as one might pick flowers.

His face was smeared with blood, making him resemble an Asura from the depths of hell, yet his sword-wielding hand remained steady, without the slightest quiver.

The armored soldiers, like a relentless tide, were relentlessly pushed back by Liu Xingchang alone. He struck such terror into their hearts that they were left trembling, their courage shattered and their spirits frozen with fear.

In the midst of the fray, Liu Xingchang fought like a protective older brother who would take on the entire world for his sister. With no escape in sight, he stood undaunted, shielding her with his very being.

The distinguished guests who had come to observe Liu Xingchang were thrown into a frenzy.

“Liu Xingchang has truly transformed!”

“He moves through the crowd, slaying with the force of a deity descended from the heavens!”

“Seventh grade! They labeled him as useless as mud that couldn’t stick to a wall, claiming he had merely third-grade cultivation. Yet today, he has revealed the prowess of the seventh grade!”

“After witnessing such a display, who could dare call Liu Xingchang worthless?”

Lord Dai, too, had not anticipated that Liu Xingchang, the reputedly inept head of the Liu Family, would demonstrate such formidable strength. Realizing the futility of sending more soldiers to their demise, he barked out an order, “Elders, what are you waiting for? Seize this young upstart at once!”
