Forever friends.

‘Young master, doesn’t bring women here,’ Janssen said.

‘Don’t misunderstand,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘I’m only William’s friend.’

Janssen continued to read a medical book. He didn’t believe William Hill only saw Zhen Zhen as a friend. But he didn’t like making small talk, and he didn’t want to talk with the woman who caused William Hill’s injury.

Zhen Zhen sensed hostility from Janssen. She quietly sat on the sofa, and waited for William Hill to wake up. She didn’t know when she closed her eyes and slept, but she heard William Hill’s voice and woke up.

‘It’s that late?’ William Hill asked. ‘I need to take her back to Phil before he’s worried something happened to her.’

‘Young master, you should stay here and rest,’ Janssen said.

‘I understand,’ William Hill said.

‘Young master, I hope you understand how important your life is,’ Janssen said. ‘You’re the Hill Household’s sole heir.’

‘I understand,’ William Hill said. ‘Go tell those old bastards not to lay a finger on Phil, and remind them I know who killed my parents.’

Janssen stopped dissuading William Hill from leaving.

On the way back to Yue Gu Zai’s home in Las Vegas, Zhen Zhen didn’t know what to say to cheer up William Hill. She thought he looked lonely.

‘Zhen Zhen, don’t tell Phil about what happened today or what you heard,’ William Hill said.

‘Um,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘If you ever feel troubled about something, you can call me. We’re friends. All I can do to help you is listen to your troubles.’

‘Friends,’ William Hill said and forced a smile.

When Zhen Zhen and William Hill got out of the car, she was surprised to see Yue Gu Zai escort Da Tu Li out of the door.

Da Tu Li understood why Yue Gu Zai would love someone like Zhen Zhen.

‘Miss Zhen Zhen, long time no see,’ Da Tu Li said and smiled.

Zhen Zhen thought it was unusual for Da Tu Li to greet her, because usually Da Tu Li looked at her like a love rival.

‘Hello Miss Da,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Miss Zhen Zhen you’re a loveable woman,’ Da Tu Li said. ‘No wonder Yue Gu Zai is faithful to you. If one day Yue Gu Zai doesn’t want you anymore, you can look for me.’

Da Tu Li blew in Zhen Zhen’s ear, and escaped before Yue Gu Zai killed her.

‘She’s a gutsy woman,’ William said. He looked away from Da Tu Li’s car, and he smiled at Yue Gu Zai. ‘It’s a tiring job being a tour guide. Phil, you better feed me.’

‘What happened?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

Yue Gu Zai noticed William Hill’s stiff arm movements.

‘Phil, you have eagle eyes,’ William Hill said. ‘I thought I hid my injury well.’

‘Your arm movements aren’t as fluid as usual,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘Let Bai Yu Tian take a look at your arm injury.’

‘It’s a minor injury,’ William Hill said. ‘Besides, Janssen is a good doctor like Bai Yu Tian. Phil are you going to injure my stomach too?’

Yue Gu Zai was worried about William Hill’s arm injury, but he listened to William Hill and asked the chef to make a meal for William Hill.

Zhen Zhen wasn’t hungry. She walked to hers and Yue Gu Zai’s bedroom and showered. She blow dried her hair in front of the vanity table while Yue Gu Zai showered.

Yue Gu Zai came out of the shower, and he noticed Zhen Zhen was sitting in front of the vanity table in a daze.

‘Zhen Zhen, did you meet Doctor Janssen today?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘Gu Zai, what did you say?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

Zhen Zhen remembered William Hill asked her not to tell Yue Gu Zai about what happened at the cafe, and she hoped Yue Gu Zai wouldn’t ask her anymore questions about what happened. She was worried about nothing, Yue Gu Zai dried his hair and laid in bed. She laid next to him in bed, he pulled the bedsheet over their bodies and he hugged her. His familiar body scent always helped her to sleep soundly.
