Looking at the moon.

On the plane to England, Zhen Zhen didn’t know why Cheng Yi was looking resentfully at her. She didn’t do anything to upset him.

Huyen Di happily read travel magazines.

‘Cheng Yi, I like this island,’ Huyen Di said.

Cheng Yi regretted raising the bet by betting his island to gain Huyen Di’s island.

‘Huyen Di, what do you think about my apartment building in the city?’ Cheng Yi asked.

‘Cheng Yi, I’ll be generous by letting you visit this island once every three years,’ Huyen Di taunted.

‘Don’t be stingy,’ Cheng Yi said. ‘At least let me visit the island once a year.’

‘Don’t forget I’m the new owner of this island,’ Huyen Di said. ‘Whoever goes back on their word becomes shark bait.’

‘Alright,’ Cheng Yi said. ‘Once every three years.’

‘Cheng Yi, why did you lose to Huyen Di?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘Huyen Di and Cheng Yi made a bet whether Miss Zhen Zhen will be going to England with us,’ Bai Yu Tian explained.

‘You two seem free lately,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘Huyen Di that island looks like a relaxing place.’

Cheng Yi was grateful he lost to Huyen Di instead of Yue Gu Zai. If Yue Gu Zai won his island then he wouldn’t get to visit it again even once. He glared at the Bai fox for snitching on him.

In the Charles mansion in England, Helen sulked to Henry Charles.

‘Dad, I don’t want to marry Reynold,’ Helen said. ‘I love William Hill.’

‘No,’ Henry Charles said. ‘You’re marrying to Reynold.’

‘Dad, I’m your only daughter,’ Helen said. ‘How can you make me marry a man I don’t love?’

‘Yours and Reynold’s wedding is in a fortnight,’ Henry Charles said. ‘Behave and stay at home before the wedding. Paul, I want you to watch over Helen. She’s not allowed to step foot out of this house before the wedding.’

‘Yes master,’ Paul said.

‘Dad…’ Helen said.

After sunset, Helen used bedsheets to climb outside the window and runaway.

At the Hill Mansion, the elders refused to let Yue Gu Zai to see William Hill.

Yue Gu Zai climbed into William Hill’s bedroom through.

‘Phil?’ William Hill asked.

‘Um, it’s me,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘Were you thinking about your mum again?’

‘Yes,’ William Hill said.

‘Why are you locked in your room?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘Since I didn’t want to marry Helen because I don’t love her, the elders are making Helen marry Reynold,’ William Hill said. ‘After their wedding, they’ll pick someone else for me to marry.’

Downstairs, Zhen Zhen was frustrated Yue Gu Zai made her wait by the car. She wanted to climb the wall with Yue Gu Zai to see William Hill too. She spotted a young woman with blue eyes was standing under William Hill’s bedroom window too.

‘Miss, do you want to climb to up to that bedroom window?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘Who are you are?’ Helen asked. ‘Why are you sneaking around at night?’

‘Miss, aren’t you sneaking around at night too?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘I… I’m looking at the moon,’ Helen said.

‘Why are you looking at the moon at the Hill Mansion?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘Do you know William Hill?’ Helen asked.

‘I’m his friend,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘I’m Helen,’ Helen said. ‘I’m William Hill’s future wife.’

‘Hello Helen,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘You can call me Zhen Zhen. You’re Mandarin is good.’

‘As William Hill’s future wife, I need to know how to speak Mandarin,’ Helen said.

‘Do you want to see William Hill?’ Zhen Zhen asked. ‘I can help you.’

A while later, after Yue Gu Zai agreed on a plan with William Hill, he wanted to climb out the window to see if Zhen Zhen was safe. But Zhen Zhen and another young woman climbed through William Hill’s window.

Yue Gu Zai and William looked disapprovingly at Zhen Zhen and Helen.

‘She made me climb the wall,’ Helen said.

‘She wanted to climb the wall first so I helped her… OK… I’m worried about William Hill,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Helen, what are you doing here?’ William Hill asked.

‘I’m worried about you,’ Helen said.

‘What about your dad?’ William Hill asked.

‘My dad is making me marry someone I don’t want to marry,’ Helen said. ‘William Hill, let’s elope together.’

‘Helen, you know I only see you as a little sister,’ William Hill said. ‘I don’t love you.’

‘I don’t want to be your little sister,’ Helen said. ‘You don’t need to love me. It’s enough that I love you. Perhaps in the future you’ll love me.’

‘Helen…’ William Hill said.

Helen couldn’t ever get used to William Hill treading on her heart.

‘William Hill, I can dye my hair black and wear brown contacts,’ Helen said and cried. ‘I can change myself to suit your taste.’

William Hill thought Helen was a good person. He didn’t want to waste her youth on loving him when he didn’t love her.

‘Helen, changing your looks isn’t going to make me love you,’ William Hill said.

‘I don’t care,’ Helen said. ‘I ran away from home because I don’t want to marry Reynold.’

‘Phil…’ William Hill said.

‘Do you want me to take her home for you?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘No,’ William Hill said. He didn’t love Helen, but he didn’t want her to be in an unhappy marriage. ‘Can you help me take care of her? Helen, make sure you listen to Yue Gu Zai.’

‘I know,’ Helen said.

Yue Gu Zai safely helped Zhen Zhen and Helen climb down the wall.

William Hill sat alone in his bedroom again. He drank a glass of wine, and looked at the moon.

‘Dad, wherever you and mum are,’ William Hill said. ‘If those old bastards take things too far, I won’t show them mercy.’
