The eight letter word.

Zhen Zhen returned to Yue Gu Zai’s home. She was scared to see the house burning. She ran to Yue Gu Zai, and checked to see if he was hurt.

‘Gu Zai, are you hurt anywhere?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

Yue Gu Zai hugged Zhen Zhen. His body was shaking, and she realised he was scared.

‘Zhen Zhen, it’s good you’re safe,’ Yue Gu Zai whispered in Zhen Zhen’s ear.

Yue Gu Zai’s gang members sighed in relief. They were happy nothing happened to Zhen Zhen.

‘Gu Zai, I’m OK,’ Zhen Zhen said.

Yue Gu Zai instructed everyone to move to Ni Sheng’s headquarters in England while the burnt house was being restored.

‘Mr Stingy,’ Helen said. ‘You should thank me for taking big sister Zhen Zhen out. If I didn’t, big sister Zhen Zhen and I would have burned down with your home.’

‘Zhen Zhen, where did you go?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘To Hua Di Wu’s bar,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Who is Hua Di Wu?’ Yue Gu Zai asked. ‘What bar?’

‘Big sister Zhen Zhen, don’t say where,’ Helen said.

‘A nightclub,’ Zhen Zhen said.

Helen closed her eyes and prepared for doom. She couldn’t believe Zhen Zhen would disclose everything to Yue Gu Zai.

‘You dare take my wife to a nightclub?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘Before you forgave me for taking big sister Zhen Zhen out,’ Helen said. ‘You’re the leader of Ni Sheng, you can’t go back on your word.’

‘I can forgive you and lock you in a room too,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

‘Hey Mr Triad Boss, if you dare lock me in a room, I’ll tell William Hill you mistreated me,’ Helen said.

Yue Gu Zai ignored Helen. He held Zhen Zhen’s hand and he led her to their bedroom.

‘Gu Zai, isn’t locking Helen in a room going overboard?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘No,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

Yue Gu Zai unbuttoned Zhen Zhen’s shirt.

‘Helen saved my life,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Did she?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

By the time Yue Gu Zai nibbled Zhen Zhen’s earlobe, she realised they were naked.

‘Gu Zai, what are doing…’ Zhen Zhen asked.

Yue Gu Zai kissed Zhen Zhen’s warm lips. He held her body close to his body. Her warmth proved to his shredded heart that she was alive.

‘Let me love you,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

Zhen Zhen didn’t believe what a man said in bed was true. If she couldn’t escape the crazed Yue Gu Zai then she could only be crazy together with him.

The following morning, Zhen Zhen was the last to wake up. She thought about all the things Yue Gu Zai did to her last night, and her face flushed red.

Zhen Zhen put on a T-shirt, but she couldn’t squeeze into her jeans.

‘Ah!’ Zhen Zhen cried out.

Yue Gu Zai ran into the bedroom first. Afterward Chu Gian and Helen ran into the bedroom, followed by the others.

‘Zhen Zhen, what happened?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

The men saw Zhen Zhen was half naked, and they immediately turned around before Yue Gu Zai killed them.

‘Gu Zai, I’m fat,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘I can’t fit into my jeans.’

Cheng Yi couldn’t hold in his laughter. He thought an intruder dared to come into Yue Gu Zai and Zhen Zhen’s bedroom. He didn’t expect Zhen Zhen would scream because she couldn’t fit into her jeans.

‘Everyone go outside and close the door,’ Yue Gu Zai ordered.

Yue Gu Zai stood in front of Zhen Zhen, and he rubbed her rounder stomach.

‘Zhen Zhen, when was the last day you had your period?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘Two months ago,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘Gu Zai, it can’t be possible.’

‘What do you think?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘I need to get a pregnancy test,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘Stress can make my period late too.’

‘I’ll go ask Bai Yu Tian to examine you,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

Yue Gu Zai walked to the door. When he opened the door, everyone was standing behind the door eavesdropping.

‘Boss, it was Cheng Yi’s suggestion,’ Bai Yu Tian said.

‘Boss, don’t believe him,’ Cheng Yi said. ‘It was Chu Gian’s suggestion.’

‘Boss, it wasn’t me,’ Chu Gian said. ‘It was Huyen Di.’

‘Boss, it was Helen who wanted to eavesdrop,’ Huyen Di said. ‘It’s my duty to ensure her safety.’

‘Mr Stingy, I had nothing to do with this,’ Helen said.

‘Bai fox, do you know how to examine if a woman is pregnant?’ Zhen Zhen asked suspiciously.

‘Miss Zhen Zhen are you doubting that I’m a real doctor?’ Bai Yu Tian asked.

‘I wouldn’t dare,’ Zhen Zhen said.

Bai Yu Tian tested Zhen Zhen’s blood and urine samples.

‘Boss, congratulations,’ Bai Yu Tian said. ‘You and your wife are having a second child. The baby is an exceptionally healthy.’

Everyone was happy Zhen Zhen was pregnant, except for the expectant mother. Zhen Zhen kicked everyone outside the bedroom.

‘Boss, don’t take it personally,’ Bai Yu Tian said. ‘It’s the hormones.’

At night, Yue Gu Zai bravely entered the bedroom. He took off his clothes and laid in bed next to Zhen Zhen. He rubbed her round stomach and he smiled.

‘Gu Zai, I didn’t want us to have a second child,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Zhen Zhen, I didn’t expect us to have a second child too,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘But we’re blessed to have this baby come to us.’

‘It’s your fault,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Yes,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

Yue Gu Zai listened to Bai Yu Tian’s advice, a pregnant woman was always right even if her mood swings were wrong.

‘Gu Zai, I want us to have a second son,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Zhen Zhen, we have already have a son,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘I want us to have a daughter.’

Yue Gu Zai didn’t expect Zhen Zhen favored boys over girls.

‘I don’t want a daughter,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘Our second child is a boy.’

‘Zhen Zhen, what if our second child is a girl?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘No what if,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘Our second child is a boy.’

‘Yes,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘Our second child is a boy.’

Yue Gu Zai finally believed it was hard to reason with a pregnant woman.

A day before Helen and William Reynold’s wedding day.

‘Boss, tomorrow we’ll make a move,’ Bai Yu Tian said.

‘If Helen’s here then who is William Reynold going to marry?’ Cheng Yi asked.

‘Henry Charles hasn’t called off the wedding even though he knows his daughter is missing,’ Chu Gian said. ‘It’s strange he hasn’t sent anyone to look for Helen.’

‘I heard Henry Charles is sick,’ Huyen Di said.

‘It could be a ploy,’ Chu Gian said.

‘Who’s there?’ Huyen Di asked.

It was Helen who was outside the meeting room. She wanted to see Henry Charles after she heard he was sick.

Helen ran to the front door, but guards wouldn’t let her outside.

‘Miss Helen, boss instructed us not to let you go outside,’ a guard said.

‘I have something important to do,’ Helen said. ‘I’ll come back soon.’

‘I’m sorry Miss Helen,’ the guard said. ‘We can’t disobey boss’ order.’

Helen pointed outside the door.

‘Big sister Zhen Zhen,’ Helen called.

The guards looked outside and they didn’t see anyone. When they turned around, Helen kicked them between their legs and she ran outside. She got into the first taxi she saw.

In the taxi, Helen doubted Henry Charles was sick. But he was her father. She wouldn’t sleep well worrying about him. She only wanted to see that he was healthy then she would return to Ni Sheng’s headquarters.

At the Charles Mansion, Helen ran into her family home. It was a trap. Henry Charles’ guards surrounded her.

‘Dad, you’re not sick,’ Helen said.

‘If I didn’t lie about being sick then you wouldn’t have come home,’ Henry Charles said.

‘Dad, I’m your daughter,’ Helen said. ‘Why do you want to make me marry a man I don’t love?’

Henry Charles looked away from Helen’s tearful face.

‘Jack, take my daughter to her room,’ Henry Charles said. ‘If she leaves her room before the wedding tomorrow then you and everyone here will be dead.’

‘Jack, don’t do this,’ Helen pleaded.

‘Young mistress, I’m sorry,’ Jack said.

Jack locked Helen in her room as Henry Charles instructed.
