C21 – A Huge Commotion!

As Pei Yu turned around, he was met with a throng of people heading his way. He didn’t give them much thought, assuming it was just another routine medical dispute.

Medical disputes were a dime a dozen, after all. Perhaps a patient’s relatives had come to stir up trouble at the hospital. But the attending physician’s reaction to the crowd was one of sheer terror, as if his soul were about to leap out of his skin.

He was a regular follower of the news; how could he fail to recognize the bald man before him?

“Why has the Master of the Super Martial Club come here?”

The attending physician was so petrified that he collapsed into his chair.

Pei Yu was about to pass by Ji Tong and his entourage when his path was suddenly blocked. The source of this content nov(el)bi((n))

Clearly, they were here for him.

“You’re Pei Yu, right?”

As Pei Yu looked up, Ji Tong’s voice was menacing, almost animalistic.

Ji Tong’s gaze never wavered from Pei Yu. It baffled him that the young man responsible for Bian Fenjiang’s death could be so youthful.

Yet, in the martial arts realm, looks were deceiving. Appearances meant little. Maybe Pei Yu did possess real talent.

“Give it a try,” Pei Yu retorted fearlessly. What did it matter if Ji Tong was the Master of the Super Martial Club? He was, at best, a Grandmaster.

Pei Yu, confident in his own Grandmaster status, was ready for the challenge. His bones had been tempered to perfection.

Despite being a Fifth Grade without a breakthrough, his combat prowess was formidable. Grandmasters didn’t intimidate him in the slightest.

“You dare to show such insolence before me? Kneel!” Ji Tong’s voice thundered, his volatile temper flaring at the slightest sign of disrespect.

As Ji Tong prepared to launch an attack, gasps of astonishment rippled through the crowd.

The onlookers parted like the sea, leaving Ji Tong bewildered until he spun around and caught sight of his superiors.

“The Head Master, Master Jiang, and Master Qiu have arrived!”

“Head Master!”

The stir was caused by none other than Qian Wenwei, who, flanked by the two Masters and an entourage of Grandmasters and warriors of Fifth Grade or higher, made a rare and impressive entrance.

Ji Tong and his companions bowed respectfully as Qian Wenwei’s commanding presence sent ripples through the hospital.

With the Head Master and three other Masters from the Super Martial Club assembled, the air was thick with anticipation of the unfolding event.

A smug smile spread across Ji Tong’s face. “Head Master, your presence here shows the weight you give to this matter. You hold us in high regard.”

Believing Qian Wenwei’s arrival was in response to the situation with Bian Fenjiang, Ji Tong eagerly stepped forward to greet him.
