Chapter 94 - He Wanted to Pat Her Little Head

Jiang Yu didn’t give it much thought.

As she held the can of biscuits in her hands and ate them slowly, her eyes kept glancing at another can of biscuits in a different color.

She thought to herself, would that red can of biscuits taste better?

Jiang Xingyi refilled her drink and found her a big bag to help her pack the snacks into.

“You still need to take your clothes later, it wouldn’t be very convenient, it will be easier to take them this way.”

“Thank you.”

Jiang Xingyi’s gaze swept past Jiang Yu’s head.

He wondered if little sister would let him pat her little head as a way to thank him?

In the end, Jiang Xingyi did not make such a request, he was worried he would seem a little perverted.

Although he had a house in the capital, he usually traveled all over the country and would only be home a few days a year.

Xia Lingwei knew this address, but she thought that Jiang Xingyi would not be able to stay in the capital for long. She was worried that his house would be empty and he would not be able to sign for it, so she had taken Jiang Zeyu’s address.

However, after the clothes had been altered, Xia Lingwei chatted casually with Jiang Xingyi and realized that he was still staying in the capital.

Xia Lingwei was surprised and sent the clothes to him. She could not help but tease him. It seemed that having a younger sister has made him different. He was a workaholic but he was willing to stay here and look out for his little sister.

Jiang Xingyi didn’t disagree with her. After receiving the clothes, he had a reason to have his little sister come to his house.

He saved Jiang Yu’s contact information and was about to make a call when he hesitated again.

It seemed a little boring to have his little sister come to his house, take the clothes, and just leave.

So, Jiang Xingyi recalled the last time they met. It seemed that Jiang Yu was only interested in good food.

As a singer though, he stayed away from eating snacks, so he asked a friend to recommend some to him and bought some snacks. After the snacks had arrived, he contacted Jiang Yu.

Fortunately, it seemed that it hadn’t been a wrong move to cater to her preferences.

Jiang Xingyi patiently waited for Jiang Yu to finish eating the biscuits. In case she decided to leave right after, he asked, “Do you want to take a look around?”

When he had some free time, he liked to relish in the silence. To avoid being disturbed, he rarely invited his friends over.

Whenever his friends came over, they would always ask to see his house, unlike Jiang Yu, who sat down after entering the house and did not bother to look around as if she was not interested one bit.

Jiang Yu reluctantly agreed, “Sure.”

Jiang Xingyi thought, … is it my imagination? Why does my little sister look so reluctant?

He showed her around and when they reached a room, Jiang Xingyi introduced, “This is my personal music studio. It has been specially soundproofed. I also write songs when I’m at home.”

There were some musical instruments in the room. The curtains were half drawn and the sunlight filtered through the glass, casting a single ray of light onto the wooden floor.

A piece of paper fell from the chair to the floor and landed beside Jiang Yu’s feet.

She picked it up and looked at it. There was a five-line score drawn on the paper, but it stopped abruptly.

Jiang Xingyi explained, “This song was written out of a moment of inspiration, but I didn’t finish it. I seemed to have hit a block with that so I just left it there.”

Jiang Yu scanned through it and looked up at a piano in the room. She asked, “Can you play it?”

“Sure.”

It was rare for Jiang Yu to be interested, so Jiang Xingyi did not refuse.
