Lee Seng ran through the alleyway. He left home early to avoid the traffic of students but ran into a problem, the Kang twins. The Kang twins saw him and stopped him. They wanted to put Lee Seng in his place and show everyone at Griffyth High, what a loser he is. Lee Seng made a break for it and was now being chased.
"Get back here, Chang!" Jason Kang yelled. The twins were mirror images of each other. Both stood at 6 feet and were fairly built. They were both athletes and always wore the Griffyth sports jacket. Jason always had his hair spiked while his brother Jae always had his down.
Lee Seng was fairly athletic. He stood at 5' 11" with a fairly built body as well. He wore a black leather jacket, white shirt and blue jeans. If it weren't for the fact he was powerless, Lee Seng would've had swarms of people flocking to him for his good looks.
Lee Seng cracked a smile as he jumped onto a dumpster and kicked himself fifteen feet, grabbing into the metal stairway. He quickly lifted himself up and over and landed on the metal stairway, waving at the Kang twins.
"Keep up! You're not going to lose to a powerless, are you?" He smiled. The Kang brothers grunted in anger and quickly started to jump onto the dumpster. Lee Seng turned and ran up the metal stairs. Even though Lee Seng had no powers, his physical prowess was unmatched by many of the Biohuman he came across.
Lee Seng flew up ten flights of stairs and reached the top of the roof. He turned and ran left, reaching the last couple feet of concrete. The Kang brothers were yelling and Lee Seng turned to see Jae reach the top first.
"Stop right there, Chang!" Jae yelled. "Accept your fate and you might come out alive." He smirked at him. Jason followed suit and stood next to Jae. Lee Seng glanced at the edge and saw the long fall down.
"I think I'm dead either way so... bye!" Lee Seng waved. The two brothers dashed forward as they both ignited their hands. The two tossed a fireball straight at Lee Seng. Lee Seng jumped off the edge, narrowly avoiding being hit by a fireball.
Lee Seng started to fall quickly and lifted his hands upwards.
'One, two, three...' He thought. 'Now!' Lee Seng hands grasped onto a metal pole off the side and he slid down as his hands grasped the metal. The metal started to crush under the extreme strength of Lee Seng, slowing him slightly. Lee Seng braced for impact as the metal pole released itself from the wall, falling towards the other wall. Lee Seng screamed as the pole swung into the wall throwing him onto the metal stairway with a thump.
The metal around him caved in and he groaned in pain.
"Ow..." He gasped. He lifted himself onto his butt. He felt his warm blood running down his back and side. He groaned in pain as he quickly took off his black leather jacket and tossed it. He quickly ripped his white shirt off and threw it off to the side.
His back was on fire and the blood was still going. He groaned as his back flared even more. He threw himself forward grabbing into the metal stairway rail and gripping it. The metal started to crush as Lee Seng's back started to heal.
"Damn it... I hate this part the most." He groaned. His wounds started to close. As soon as the wounds were closed, he jumped up fine. He cracked a smile and grabbed the black leather jacket, going for one of the inner pockets. He pulled out his phone and unlocked it. He lifted it to his face and spoke.
"Initiate clean mode." The phone began to buzz and six beads flew out of his jacket pocket and flew around him. They began to suck up any dirt, sweat and blood. After a couple of minutes, they were done and dropped onto the floor.
Lee Seng slipped the phone in his pocket and then put on his t-shirt and jacket. He quickly made his way into the alleyway and started his way towards the school. As he rounded the corner, a strange man in a Fox mask bumped into him.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Lee Seng apologized stumbling backwards. The fox mask man grabbed him and pulled him back onto his feet. The Fox mask only covered his eyes and forehead. He let a warm smile out and nodded at Lee Seng.
"It's alright, kid." The fox man brushed it off. Lee Seng bowed his head apologetically and started to walk away. The man quickly grabbed his arm and Lee Seng looked back at the man with a curious yet fearful face. He tried to yank his arm away but the man had a strong grip that scared him.
"What do you want?" Lee Seng stuttered. "I-I got money if you want it. I-I'm just a st-student." The fox man stepped forward lifting Lee Seng's arm up.
"I don't want your money." The fox man said. He didn't stare at Lee Seng but at his hand. He nodded slowly and looked at Lee Seng who was getting even more creeped out. "You're potential... it hasn't shown itself, has it?" The fox man tilted his head.
"What...?" Lee Seng tilted his head in confusion. The fox man stepped forward and pressed Lee Seng's hand onto his chest, holding it there.
"Aren't you tired of getting bullied by other Biohumans?" The fox man asked. Lee Seng's face dropped into disbelief.
"How did you know...?" He stuttered. The man smiled again.
"What if I could unlock your potential.. for a price?" His smile creeped Lee Seng out. He didn't understand anything this man was saying now. Lee Seng took a step back and the man took a step forward, following Lee Seng. A familiar set of voices were heard to Lee Seng's left.
"Chang, you're dead meat!" Jason screamed. Two fireballs soared over towards Lee Seng. Lee Seng began to panic and tried to move but the Fox man turned Lee Seng and the fireballs seemed to melt into him.
"What the hell...?" Jay muttered. The Kang twins were in disbelief of what happened. They hurled more fireballs but none of them hit the Fox man nor Lee Seng. Their attacks continued to melt just before it hit Lee Seng or the man in the Fox mask. The Kang twins ran towards the two, angrily hurling fireballs. Closing the distance would surely get their target, right?
? "Make your decision now, boy. Do you want me to unlock your potential?" The man in the Fox mask asked. "Make a decision before you're truly dead." Lee Seng saw the Kang twins coming closer and looked at the fox man.
"Fine, do something before they get here!" Lee Seng shouted. The man let go of Lee Seng's arm as fox tails sprouted into existence. Nine tails swirled around Lee Seng and the man. The man quickly jumped forward and swung his fist straight into Jason's chest, sending him flying backwards. Jae exchanged blows with the Fox man, fear growing in his eyes.
The man quickly spun and the fox tails slammed into Jae knocking him out cold. The fox man faced Lee Seng who was in awe.
"You've accepted the terms, Lee Seng Chang." The fox man pointed at him. Lee Seng took a step back.
"H-how do you know my name?" Lee Seng asked. The man smiled and took a step forward.
"The contract has been made. I will unlock your potential and in return... you will become a Fox as well." The tails shot out towards Lee Seng. Lee Seng screamed as the tails wrapped around him, shutting out the daylight.
"Embrace the Fox and take what is yours. Grow, Lee Seng Chang. Grow." The fox man voice echoed. Lee Seng felt himself grow tired and slowly his eyes shut.
