Lee Seng blinked and shook his head. The sounds of students talking and walking filled his head. Ritsuka curiously watched Lee Seng, moving his hand in front of Lee Seng's face.
"Hey, Lee Seng, are you okay?" Ritsuka asked.
"Huh?" Lee Seng blinked, focusing onto Ritsuka, again. "Oh, yeah. I'm good. Let's go."
"Oh, a-alright." Ritsuka spun around and continued forward. Lee Seng trailed behind him, not paying attention to Ritsuka's peeks back at him. The two followed the huge hallway, passing by three hallway entrances before turning right. The two stopped and Lee Seng looked up from his phone.
"Man, this sucks." Lee Seng glanced back at his phone, raising it up.
"What?" Ritsuka turned.
"I'm a Specialist so I get two classes of specialized training."
"Huh, I figured there was something special about you. What's your other class, Glass?"
"Mmmhm," Lee Seng nodded. "I'm a Fighter and a Glass. I was wondering how they're gonna run Specialist classes. I guess they're just making them do another class." Lee Seng hit the account button on the Academy app and clicked schedule button and scrolled.
"When's your Glass and Fighter class then? Is it still at the end of the school day?" Ritsuka asked, peeking at Lee Seng's phone. Lee Seng scrolled to the end and noticed his specialized classes were bundled together.
"They're bundled together..." Lee Seng muttered. He moved the phone closer and noticed the different days. "Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are Fighter classes. Tuesday, Thrusday, and Friday are Glass. 'Fridays switch out which class you will be taking.'"
"Ahh, so they're swapping it out for you. I guess that's cool. I guess we will have to separate then."
"Yeah, I guess so." Lee Seng looked up. "Well, if that's it, I think we should figure out where we're gonna meet the others."
"I'll send a message to the group chat to meet in the field."
"Alright."
Ritsuka exited the Academy app and clicked the group chat.
Ritsuka: Are you guys done yet? Lee Seng and I just finished and are gonna head to the field.
Olivia: Ah, we're headed to see the specialized training area.
"They're coming towards the specialized area. Do you wanna meet up with them or just meet at the field?" Ritsuka asked.
"We should probably figure out where my Glass class is." Lee Seng answered.
Ritsuka: We're gonna go find Lee Seng's Glass class first.
Olivia gave a thumbs up emoji and Ritsuka shut his screen off.
"Alright, let's go." Ritsuka motioned. Lee Seng nodded and clicked the Glass class and mapped it. He turned around and looked back at Ritsuka.
"C'mon." Lee Seng motioned. Ritsuka jogged over to walk besides Lee Seng. The two turned left at the end of the hall and walked passed two hallways and turned left at the third one. The two wandered deep into the hallway as the sound of the bell rang. The leftover students quickly ran into their classrooms as Lee Seng turned right and stared at a door.
"Gymnasium G." Lee Seng muttered. "It's here." He pointed. Ritsuka nodded and the two peeked inside. No one was in the gym and students were coming out of locker rooms. Students gave Lee Seng stares as they passed. Lee Seng moved out of the way and watched them filter into the room.
"The rooms look exactly like the First Year building." Ritsuka said. "I guess it really is copies of each other."
"Mmm, the only thing I've noticed that's different in this building is there's more accented marks."
"Accented marks?"
Lee Seng pointed at the Gymnasium plaque.
"The school colors run in threes. I'm not sure if I'm just trying to fish for something that isn't relevant, but even the school uniforms on the shoulder identify what year a student is." Lee Seng explained.
"Maybe it's just a coincidence." Ritsuka shrugged. "The uniform year markings are different so these things might be a coincidence." Lee Seng and Ritsuka's phone buzzed and both of them instinctively pulled their phones out to check. The group chat had a couple messages.
Evan: We just finished up looking where our specialized classes are.
Evan: Where are you guys? *_*
Lee Seng: We just looked where my other class was. We'll meet you guys at the field.
Evan: Ok!
Lee Seng sent a thumbs up emoji and stuffed his phone back into his pocket. Ritsuka tapped on his phone and slipped his phone back into his pocket.
"Alright, let's go."
---
Ritsuka and Lee Seng made their way down the steps. Lee Seng spotted Olivia and Evan in the distance and pointed.
"They're by the tree." Lee Seng said. Ritsuka squinted his eyes and leaned forward, moving his hand across his forehead to cover the sunlight.
"How the hell can you see them from here?" Ritsuka asked. He straightened his back and removed his hand. "Your eyesight must be really good."
"My senses are really sharp," Lee Seng waved Ritsuka forward. The two moved towards the tree in the distance. As they moved closer, Ritsuka could see Olivia and Evan chatting, happily, away.
"Holy cow, your sight is scary good." Ritsuka turned to look at Lee Seng. Lee Seng smiled and nodded.
"Told you." Lee Seng grinned. Ritsuka began to jog towards Evan and Olivia.
"Hey, did you guys wait long?" Ritsuka waved.
"Oh, not long. You guys took your time or something?" Evan wondered. Ritsuka shook his head as he came to a stop. Lee Seng's walk turned into a jog and he quickly caught up with the rest of the group and came to a stop.
"I thought it be a straight shot to get to the hallway we came in through, but I was wrong. Got lost and it took longer than I thought it would." Lee Seng answered.
"For a guy who has great sight, he doesn't have a great sense of direction." Ritsuka nudged Lee Seng. Lee Seng turned and looked as Ritsuka, who was grinning at him. Lee Seng rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Great sight and sense of direction are two different things. We're all new to the school, so your guess would've been as good as mine."
"Ah, alright. Since we're all here, let's all god back." Olivia waved at the two boys.
"Yeah, Olivia's right. We should head back." Evan agreed.
"Mmm, sure." Ritsuka nodded.
"I need to unpack, so I'll probably go settle in when we get back." Lee Seng said.
"Ah, I should finish that too." Olivia pointed at Lee Seng. "We could all meet up for dinner later if that's the case."
"Sure, that sounds fine with me." Lee Seng gave a thumbs up and watched as Evan and Ritsuka nod in agreement. The four made their way back to the dorm. They climbed the stairs to the second floor and Lee Seng turned to wave goodbye to Olivia. The three boys split from Olivia and wandered down the hallway towards the elevators.
Lee Seng waved goodbye to Ritsuka and Evan and turned right towards his dorm room. He unlocked his phone and hit the Academy app and raised it to the third door on the left. The door lock beeped and turned green, unlocking. He pushed the door open and stepped inside, shutting it behind him.
Lee Seng spent the next couple of hours unpacking and putting his things away, neatly. It was about four o'clock when he heard the door lock beep and open. Lee Seng peeked from behind the closet door and watched as Manny walked in with a bag over his shoulder. Lee Seng turned around and grabbed the clothes on hangers.
"You're unpacking," Manny observed. Lee Seng turned around with a handful of clothes on hangers and nodded. Manny stood in the hallway by Lee Seng's closet, arm around the backpack strap on his shoulder and hand in pocket.
"Yup." Lee Seng answered. He continued to hang his clothes and Manny shuffled over towards his bed and dumped his backpack onto the floor and sat.
"You find your classes alright?" Manny watched as Lee Seng patiently and neatly hung the clothes on the closet rod.
"Yup."
Manny nodded. He could feel the awkwardness between the two of them. Lee Seng hung the last clothes and shut the closet door and moved to sit on his bed. Lee Seng grabbed the phone on the nightstand and unlocked it. Ritsuka, Evan, and Olivia were spamming the group chat. There were over a hundred messages. Lee Seng casually skimmed through it and set a message to tell them he was done unpacking.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Manny asked leaning forward. Lee Seng shut his phone off and set it onto the nightstand and looked at Manny. Lee Seng sighed and and scooted over to the edge of the bed and planted his feet onto the ground.
"The Creator has some demands I need to meet while I'm here," Lee Seng started.
"What kind of demands?" Manny asked. He tilted his head. Lee Seng narrowed his eyes at him and watched him for awhile.
'Does he know or not?' Lee Seng wondered.
"That you have to be on my field group." Lee Seng answered.
"Ohhh, that
