"You.. Can't kill me…? But why… am I…?" The Witch croaked.
"So you are blessed by Dahlia." Florabelle floated over to Halys. Halys kept his eyes on the ghost as the strike began to take its course. A large tree grew over her body and the energy started to dissipate from her. "Why would you avoid me if you're blessed by Dahlia? Are you scared of some Sprites?"
"I'm not scared of Sprites, Sprite." Halys turned to look at her.
"Stop calling me Sprite, Nature warrior." Florabelle stuck her tongue out. Halys brushed her away from him and descended to the ground.
"Where did you hide my companions?" Halys asked, looking around. Florabelle scrunched her face and groaned as she moved down to the river. A large tree was now in the area where the cabin was. The roots moved over the cabin like it was nothing. To top it all off, it wasn't even remotely a flower tree, it was just a huge leafy tree.
"I kept them inside the river for safety." Florabelle told Halys. She turned and looked at Halys before he could say anything. "I made sure they wouldn't drown, alright? I'm not that cruel." She turned and watched as a huge water bubble pulled out of the water. Ritsuka lied beneath Lee Seng. Green icicles stook out of their bodies as Lee Seng weakly looked up at them.
"Take them out. The poison needs to be dealt with now." Halys told Florabelle. Florbaelle reluctantly listened to him and moved the water bubble over to the ground and popped it. Halys moved over and kneeled. He looked at the boys, noticing Ritsuka was completely out.
"H…H-Help… him… first." Lee Seng spoke weakly. Lee Seng's body shook uncontrollably. He could feel the Protocol creeping into him.
"What's wrong with you? Did you get hit with more poison in that last second protecting him?" Halys asked. Lee Seng let out a half-growl, half-groan. His fist balled as he looked at Halys. His eyes shook at Halys. Different energies were fighting in his eyes and Halys nodded. Lee Seng flipped himself, landing hard on the ground on his back. He let out coughs as his body continued to shake.
Halys checked for Ritsuka's pulse.
'There's still a pulse. I've got time.' Halys pulled out a small knife blade and took a deep breath.
"Sorry, kid. The only way I can get it out of your body is if I create a wound opening." Halys cut a small opening on Ritsuka's arm and watched the blood start to pour. Ritsuka's inconsistent breaths grew louder as Halys covered the wound. His form shimmered brighter and vines began to grow from the ground around Ritsuka. It crawled all across his body and secured itself.
"Now for the hard part." Halys pushed his energy into Ritsuka. Ritsuka's inconsistent breathing grew louder as the vines started to light. The vines pulsed like they were drinking.
Ritsuka's body squirmed as he laid unconscious. The vines tightened their hold as his breathing grew to the loudest volume it could. Lee Seng's eyes focused on Ritsuka. He tried to use Ritsuka to anchor him.
'He'll be okay.' Lee Seng repeatedly told him. 'They'll all be okay… Keep… Calm.' The Dark Matter energy started to bubble around Lee Seng. Halys noticed this and quickly strapped Lee Seng in vines.
"Hold yourself together!" Halys told him. "Your friend will be fine once all the poison is out! He took too much damage and I don't have healing magics! I will be able to get him out of the lethal zone. The Sprite and I will do our best to patch him but we can't do anything else, got it? You must keep a level head if you want all of us to live!"
"Argh…!" Lee Seng's chest flew upwards, the vines immediately pulling him back down. They began to tighten as Halys continued to focus on Ritsuka.
"You can do it, Lee Seng!" Florabelle flew close to him. "I don't know what's happening but I know you can push through it!" She started to sprinkle some water on him. His frustration and anger from the Protocol began to fade and was replaced with a calm feeling. He twitched and tried to lash at her, but the vines held him down.
"What's wrong with him? Will he even be okay?" Florabelle looked up at Halys.
"Lee Seng's human part holds powers I'm not entirely sure about. All I know is it's lethal and we have to be careful." Halys told Florabelle. Halys felt the poison was out of Ritsuka and quickly pulled the vines away. The vines rippled into green flowers, surrounding the large tree behind him as he pulled his hand off of the cut he made.
"Can you do something to somewhat get him comfortable?" Halys asked Florabelle as he moved over to Lee Seng. "The poison is out and he might be suffering from the aftereffects of that ethereal Witch's decay, but it's all up to him on whether he wakes up or not." Florabelle nodded and hovered over to Ritsuka as Halys took his spot on Lee Seng's left side, away from Ritsuka.
'His energy is almost gone. He won't be able to heal himself nor his human friend.' Halys observed. He pulled the blade out and moved it to his arm. Dark Matter whipped out, Halys quickly pulling back.
"Lee Seng, I'm trying to get the poison out of your body! Get yourself together if you wanna live!" Halys shouted.
"Argh…! Just… DIE" Lee Seng's voice distorted. The vines exploded as he lashed out at Halys. Halys pulled away, leaving a clone made of dirt and flowers behind him as he stood. He watched Lee Seng lash at it. Florballe lifted a viel of water to catch the dirt and quickly threw it to the side. Lee Seng turned and started to swipe straight for Ritsuka.
"Lee Seng, no!" Halys lashed out a vine and pulled Lee Seng's arm back. "God, what the hell are you?!? You're nearly out of energy and you… still have this much strength?!?" He grunted loudly as he pulled, flipping Lee seng and sending him straight into the lake. Halys quickly turned, flicking his fingers. The ground rippled beneath Ritsuka and sent him further away from him and the wild Lee Seng.
"Ahhh, Ritsuka!" Florabelle shouted. "Nature warrior, what're you gonna do to him?!? He acts like a feral fox!"
"Just make sure the human's fine! I'll deal with this one!" Halys shouted. The water exploded as Lee Seng leapt up. The Dark Matter crept across his face and linked themselves with his tear ducts. He screamed as he rushed at Halys. "Get a hold of yourself! If you're choosing to have this form and be a Fox Spirit, then you can! It's all up to your determination!" Lee Seng swung and slashed at Halys like a wild animal. Halys dodged the first set of attacks, throwing his hands and shifting the rocks on his bodies to block the attack.
Lee Seng shattered the rocks with ease as he lashed forward. Dirt hand erupted out of the ground and grabbed at Lee Seng. Halys summoned the two blades and moved forward.
"You're gonna strike him?!?" Florabelle shouted. Halys ignored her shouts and slashed Lee Seng across the chest in an X. The Dark Matter suit exploded, revealing the golden silk outfit. Halys watched as the outfit tore, slightly, revealing Lee Seng's chest as roots and vines attached themselves to Lee Seng, pulling him onto the ground. Halys stood over Lee Seng and pulled the small blade out and made an incision cut on his chest. He put his hand onto the young man's chest and watched as the vines began to pulse.
"His body couldn't even heal all of the decay. There's so much wrong with him." Halys muttered. Halys's eyes seemed to look past Lee Seng. He was following the small traces of poison around Lee Seng's body while also pulling all of the decay and unfamiliar physical negative energies in his body. The vines began to wither, Halys quickly waving his other hand to grow more vines.
'There's this strange unfamiliar thing in his body, too. It's negatively impacting his body's natural energies as well… I wonder if this is what Chimera meant when God King spoke to Commander about Lee Seng…' His eyes refocused back on the unconscious Lee Seng.
"How much did the Creator do to you? His only son…" Halys shook his head. He couldn't begin to imagine and see the amount of suffering Lee Seng held within his own fragile body. "You may be physically feeling fine, but after all of this gunk gets out of your body, you'll feel like a different person… I know you've gone through a lot with your Father, but I still wonder what experiments he did on you. For now, we just need to make sure you survive from the poison."
