Chapter 281 Tend To The Injured

"Alright, we're done." Ysa blinked. The yellow aura in her eyes faded and she looked at Victoria. "He's completely healed the energy channels. It's like the excess energy just boosted his healing capabilities and healed his energy channels with it."

"So the rumors on his healing capabilities are true." Victoria glanced at Lee Seng.

"There's rumors about that?" Lee Seng asked.

"Mmmhm." Victoria nodded.

"Along with a whole bunch of other not so great things you'd probably want to not hear." Ysa added.

"Hello, everyone. This is Commander Chimera speaking." The halo chimed. Everyone glanced at each other before looking at their crystals. "We've killed the ent and it seems like the forest has fully come back to its original state. We're taking the injured to the Saviors' base. Do you need an additional hands?"

"Commander, General Halys speaking." Halys' voice popped up onto the halo. "We've killed the Golem and are dismantling them. It looks like there's no trace of any fallen nor survivors within the golem. I'll have scouts tracking where the golem came from and see if it hid our brethren somewhere else."

"I will do the same on this side, then." Chimera spoke. "All will come back except the scouts. Bring me Lee Seng. We have a lot of injured on this side and Keng will take forever to heal the group."

"Roger." Lee Seng spoke.

"We'll leave as soon as we can. I'll send a small team with Lee Seng and have them meet you at the base." Halys spoke.

"We'll ping the location on the halo." Chimera spoke. A small ping noise came up and Lee Seng could see a map appear in his head. He had a map of the area in his head and a glowing spot in the middle area. It was in the middle of the forest. "I'll see you all there. Thank you for your hard work. Any injured please make your way to the area. Chimera out." A quiet click noise followed after.

"I guess that's our cue to go." Ysa stood up. Lee Seng nodded, standing up and stretching his body.

"We have some injured here as well. I could deal with the ones who need medical attention now and do the rest on the way back." Victoria offered.

"Anyone unable to move can be taken for a ride with my gravity abilities." Lee Seng waved his hand.

"I need some scouts for the search! If you're injured let's have Lee Seng and Victoria look at you before you leave. The injured take priority over those with little to none." Halys ordered.

"I guess that's our answer." Victoria pointed. Lee Seng made his way around to everyone, slowly healing those who were heavily injured and those who weren't injured. Those who sustained injuries that weren't life threatening, Victoria and Lee Seng told them they would receive the rest of their treatment at the Savior's base.

"Alright, I think that's it." Victoria clapped her hands together. She stood up and looked around for Lee Seng. She watched him lift the injured that couldn't move into the air.

"Whoa!" A Fox jumped.

"Don't panic or you'll hurt yourself. I'm putting enough energy so your wound won't reopen and you won't fall, 'kay?" Lee Seng explained to them. The Fox Spirit slowly shook their head and Lee Seng turned and moved onto the next one. The line would push back a bit and the next person would lift up, making a small yelp. Lee Seng continued down the line until he eventually made his way all the way to Victoria.

"Last person?" Lee Seng asked.

"Y-yeah." Victoria nodded. She forgot she handled the last heavily injured person. She stepped off to the side as Lee Seng made a small push motion. The line moved and Lee Seng bent downwards to the Fox Spirit.

"I'm gonna lift you up, 'kay? I'll make sure to keep you safe." Lee Seng told them.

"S-sure." The Fox Spirit nodded. Lee Seng stood up and flicked his finger up. The Fox Spirit slowly lifted up and moved to the front of the line.

"Well, that's the last of the heavily injured, right?" Lee Seng looked at Victoria.

"Uh, yeah." Victoria nodded.

"Cool, I guess I'm off then."

"Lee! I'm coming with you!" Ysa jogged over.

"Same." Vedi waved. "I'm not suited for scouting, so the General assigned me to be a bodyguard along with these three." Vedi pointed at the three behind him. The three Fox Spirits waved at him.

"I'll take the back." One of them spoke.

"I'll take the side." The second one spoke.

"I'll follow off to the other side then." The third one spoke.

"I'll be in front of you while Ysa's above." Vedi pointed.

"Sure. Thanks for coming." Lee Seng nodded and gave a small bow to each of the members. They took their spots and Vedi led the way. There were about thirteen injured moving behind Lee Seng as they slowly made their way to the base.

It took them about twenty minutes to get to the base. The base was probably in the nicest spot of the forest. The corruption of black and purple energy was gone. Not a trace of it showed they were even in the same spot. The multi-colored leaves with tall colorful blades of grass caught Lee Seng's attention as they made their way into the clearing.

The Saviors' symbol hung proudly at the front. There was a large crowd guarding the area as Lee Seng and the group came through.

"Where are they?" Vedi asked.

"They went inside. Keng insisted they go inside to tend to the injured." A Fox Spirit told him. Vedi nodded and thanked him. He turned to Lee Seng.

"They're inside. You want me to go with you?" Vedi asked.

"You can." Lee Seng nodded.

"Alright, the rest of you on guard. Ysa, you can tag along." Vedi motioned. The three Fox Spirits saluted and moved over to chat with the other members. Lee Seng led the group up the steps, adjusting the train of injured people behind him with ease. Vedi and Ysa were to his left and right as Lee Seng pushed the doors open. The hallways met them as Nabi poked her head out of the side room.

"Oh, Lee Seng, you're here already?" Nabi asked.

"Mmm." Lee Seng nodded. Nabi stepped out of the room.

"Vedi, Ysa, it's been a while." Nabi smiled.

"How are you doing, Nabi?" Ysa hugged Nabi.

"Doing okay. It's been a chaotic day." Nabi pulled away form Ysa. She turned to look at Vedi who gave off the sense he didn't want a hug. He was trying to be a 'tough guy,' but Nabi ignored it and squeezed him. "Hi, tall and broody. Still the same."

"Hi, I guess." Vedi quickly patted her and pulled away. "Whe-where's the others?" He switched the subject. Lee Seng hid his smile as Nabi raised an eyebrow.

"Switching subjects already, Ved? So like you to do that." Nabi chuckled. She pointed to Lee Seng, Vedi's and Ysa's left. "They went down this hall. There's a huge set of bedrooms over there with medical herbs and tonics. You can take the injured there."

"Okay." Lee Seng nodded.

"I'll stay with Nabi." Ysa pointed.

"Do whatever you want. I'll tag along with Lee SEng then." Vedi quickly answered. "C'mon let's go." Vedi pulled Lee Seng along to the left.

"He's still as tense as ever." Ysa whispered. "You think he would've said something to you by now."

"Stop it." Nabi playfully pushed her. Her face was growing red. "Y'know we can't really be together right now."

"You could if you just said something." Ysa poked at her. Lee Seng smiled as he and Vedi led the injured pack down the hall.

"So, you like Nabi?" Lee Seng asked after they had made enough distance and he couldn't hear the two girls whispering about it. He watched Vedi's face twitch, slightly turning red. He cleared his throat and looked forward.

"We're just… friends." Vedi told him.

"Oh, okay." Lee Seng cheekily smiled. "Just friends."

"What would you even know about that? You're way younger than me. I'm 176 and you're only 16!" Vedi defensively shouted at him.

"I'm 17 but I'm not stupid when it comes to people giving signs to other people." Lee Seng poked back at Vedi.

"Do you think that'll be enough room for all of them?" Lady Vix'i asked. She popped out with Keng standing to her left.

"It should be enough. There's three or four more medical rooms just in case." Keng answered as they turned.

"Hiya." Lee Seng waved.

"Oh." Keng's face lit up. "You're here!" He hopped over to Lee Seng, bear hugging him.

"You're squeezing too hard!" Lee Sng pushed away.

"Oh, sorry." Keng pulled away. The two of them studied each other, quickly realizing they had the same sun marks but in their perspective colors. "You have the marks too?"

"Yeah, long story. I'll, uh, tell you later." Lee Seng whispered into Keng's ear. Keng simply nodded and looked at Vedi.

"Thanks for taking care of Lee Seng." Keng nodded at Vedi.

"Mmm, su-sure." Vedi cleared his throat.

"Let's fill the rest of the beds in this room and then we can set the rest in the next one." Lady Vix'i motioned.
