Lee Seng was brought into a chamber room that was heavy in Dark Matter. The glass was grayer in color because of it. He didn't fight the medical staff as they set him on the medical examining bed.
"Adjust it. We're gonna heal him." The doctor ordered.
"Yes, doctor." The nurse answers. The medical examining bed moved upwards as.a bright light blinded Lee Seng.
"Argh!" Lee Seng turned his head away.
"Keep still, Chang." The doctor told him. He moved his head back and Lee Seng kept his eyes closed. Someone moved their hands over his eyes and the light faded. He opened his eyes and noticed someone had set a small thin film on his eyes.
"I got the migraine medication." A nurse raised the vial.
"Good, we'll nice it to him first before the healers heal him." The doctor motioned. The nurse set the vial in his hand. "We're gonna give you this for your migraine, alright?"
"Mmm." Lee Seng answered. The doctor opened the vial and lifted Lee Seng up.
"Drink." The doctor instructed. Lee Seng drank the nasty liquid and coughed. He was set down onto the table and healers began their work.
"Sir, we should call Dr. Valentin." A nurse told the doctor.
"He's been alerted." The doctor told them. "He's held up somewhere else and told me to handle this. It'll be fine. You'll be fine, alright?" The doctor looked at Lee Seng. Lee Seng nodded.
He groaned and tried to church his head. Someone grabbed him and moved his arm back in place. His head pounded. Was it because of the migraine, medication, or memories?
He couldn't tell. The memories had flooded back in and filled the spots where false memories stood. They knocked the false memories down and removed them. Lee Seng knew what was false and what was real.
The excess information had made him dizzy so he found it hard to concentrate on anything. He couldn't even digest any of the information.
"There. The healing should have healed everything back in place." The nurse told Olivia. "Don't push yourself too hard for a couple days. Rest."
"Thanks." Olivia nodded at the nurse.
"No problem. I'm gonna go help the others. Stay here, alright?" The nurse began to move to the exit.
"Nurse." Olivia raised her hand. The nurse turned to look at her. "Where did my friend go? Lee Seng? I wanna wait for him."
"Mmm, I'm not sure. Since he destroyed some of the rooms, I think a room that has thicker Dark Matter imbued in them. You should stay here though." The nurse answered. Olivia stood up.
"Which way?"
"Well… that way. To the right. Follow it for a while. You should know you're in the area when everything looks gray." The nurse pointed. Olivia thanked her and followed her instructions. She fiddled for her phone and realized.it had turned to dust.
'Dammit , Lee Seng. I haven't paid off that phone yet!' She shedded a single tear for her phone and continued down the hall for a while until she found a whole bunch of nurses and doctors filtering out of a room.
"Is my friend in there?" Olivia asked. A doctor blocked the way as he turned to face her.
"He's doing fine but won't stop crying for some reason." The doctor told her. "I wouldn't go in if I were you."
"Move." Olivia motioned. The doctor stared at her in shock. "Move, Doc. I'll be fine. I'm the one who froze him anyway. I'm his safety net. He needs someone right now."
"Look, i–"
"I don't care. Move." Olivia pushed the doctor out of the way and managed to grab his badge, open the door with it and slip inside.
Lee Seng's sobs were loud. Olivia sighed as she shuffled over to him. He had been moved from the medical table to a bed. He didn't quite make it on and had his knees up to his face.
"Lee." Olivia called out. She stopped a good fifteen feet away. She was brave but still hesitant on coming to him. He continued to sob, if boring her like he hasn't heard her.
"Lee Seng. It's me. Olivia. Here to figure out if you're okay." Olivia spoke up louder. He continued to cry and she sighed. "I know you can hear me!"
"Leave me alone!" Lee Seng shouted. Olivia scoffed and stepped forward. He immediately threw his hands up and pointed them at her. "I'll shoot!"
"Oh, you're threatening the person who saved you?" Olivia chuckled. She continued to walk. She noticed his hands were shaking badly. She felt like her body was turning to jelly as she needed.
"Stop, please. I don't… I can't…. I don't understand what's happening!" He shouted. A small ripple of gravity grew around him. The bed began to lift up and float. A chain kept it from flying higher and hung in the air above him as Olivia came to a stop.
"Understand what just happened?" Olivia asked. He grew silent as he quietly sobbed, trying to wipe his tears and snot away. "Don't listen to whatever that Drayson guy said. He's just trying to make Sara look like the good guy in this case. She cheated all on her own."
"I don't care about that." Lee Seng told her. The gravity bubble stopped and the bed began to fall straight for Lee Seng. The chain yanked it away and set the bed in it's place as Olivia ran forward to try to shield Lee Seng.
Olivia tripped and fell straight towards Lee Seng. She screamed as Lee Seng instinctively jumped up with a push of gravity and grabbed her. They flew in the opposite direction she fell and a bubble erupted, holding the two in midsection.
The two stared at each other for a while. The noise in Lee Seng's head faded. His confusion and frustration vanished as Olivia and him stared at each other.
"Y-you can let go now." Olivia tapped his arm. He snapped out of it and pulled the both of them up before moving away. The gravity bubble popped and he shuffled straight into the bed and fell onto the bed.
"Are you okay?" Olivia asked, cheeks slightly red. Lee Seng covered his cheeks and nodded.
"Yeah, yeah." Lee Seng nodded. "Dandy. A-are you okay?" Olivia nodded after a slight delay.
"I-I'm fine." Lee Seng immediately looked down. He fiddled with his hands. Olivia studied him.
'He went from crying to nervous so fast.' She thought. 'Why? He just made sure I didn't fall.'
"You okay?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah, you asked already."
"Not about what just happened. About hearing that Sara…"
"Oh." Lee Seng said. Silence enveloped the room for a while until he continued. "That… Yeah, I'm fine. I guess…?" Even though he had gone through some sort of memory spell, he still felt bad about it. Like what he did feel was real. "AHHHHHHH! WHY ARE FEELINGS SO HARD VERSUS MEMORIES?!?"
"What?" Olivia asked, surprised. Lee Seng's face lit up like a beet and he threw himself into the bed. He covered himself with the sheets.
"N-nothing!"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well, it is what it is!" Lee Seng blurted out. "Actually nevermind! Forget what I'm saying! I'm just spewing nonsense!"
'How do I save myself from this?!?' Lee Seng panicked. 'Could Nicole have changed everyone's memories? Nah that can't be true right?'
"I know that's very upsetting to hear but you shouldn't say stuff like that. It's… very left field. If you're sad then be sad." Olivia told him.
"No, it's not that." Lee Seng blurted out. He shot straight up and looked at her. "Well, yes and no. I guess what I'm trying to say is–"
The door opened. The two turned to look and watched as Nicole and Scarlet stepped into the room.
'Fuck just what I need!' Lee Seng thought.
"Lee Seng is in this room?" Nicole asked. She and Scarlet walked in, the door close g behind them.
"Oh, Miss Ok, what brings you here?" Scarlet asked.
"Oh, hello, One and Four." Olivia bowed.
"I thought this was sealed off from everyone else. Why're you in here with a bomb?" Nicole asked.
"Bomb?" Olivia turned to look at Lee Seng. He was looking away, arms crossed. "He's anything but a literal bomb of power. If anything, an emotional bomb."
"O-Olivia!" Lee Seng shouted. He turned to look at her and Olivia chuckled.
"See? He's fine. Just a migraine." Olivia told them.
"Is that all it is? Something must've happened to explode a whole room and injure loads of people including Scarlet's daughter." Nicole pointed out. They came closer and Lee Seng immediately turned away, again.
"Doctor told me you took him here, Miss Ok." Scarlet told her. Olivia nodded. "They also told me you got into some heated chat with my daughter and one of the medical students."
"Mmm, medical student and your daughter." Olivia nodded.
"What was that?" Nicole asked. Her eyes glinted a prism color. Olivia stared at her eyes for a while and shrugged.
"Teenage drama, ma'am." Olivia answered. "That's all it is."
'She didn't immediately cave into Nicole's power? How strong is she?' Lee Seng wondered.
"Mmm, that's why my daughter was heated." Scarlet nodded. "I won't dig. You should figure it out yourselves. Let's chat about how you two are doing, shall we? My daughter insists I punish you, Miss Ok, but we need to know what happened first. I won't let personal matters get in between our check up, so please cooperate."
