Jyu'so's spectral image fizzled back into Keng's room. Gorrum stood nearby Keng, watching him as Keng restfully slept. Jyu'so let out a sigh and turned to face the Foxling.
"What have you found out?" Jyu'so asked.
"He was captured and brought a hobgoblin cave. There he was subjected to rape and in a split moment, his anger and rage decided he would lower their guards and slaughter them all." Gorrum began.
"The kid's that smart to do such a thing?" Jyu'so raised an eyebrow.
"That's not the strangest thing that happened. I saw the Shadow Hobgoblin and it seemed like these hobgoblins all followed him, willingly."
"The weak will be forced under the strong. It is the way of Nature." Jyu'so nodded. "Did you figure out anything in regards to the Feral Madness?"
"He didn't go into it until he feasted on the Shadow Hobgoblin." Gorrum replied. Jyu'so peeled his eyes off of Keng and looked at Gorrum. "He willingly went into a Feral Madness. He wanted to do it because of his rage and anger. He wanted them dead."
"He has bloodlust. Didn't think he had it in him. But he wanted to feast more is what I'm hearing?"
"Yes, sir. It seems like he wanted to feast. I don't know why he wanted to but he wanted to do it."
"And he attacked Lily because of that hunger."
"Yes, sir."
"Anything else?" Jyu'so looked at Gorrum. Gorrum shook his head and looked at Keng.
"No, sir. What did you find out?" Gorrum asked. Jyu'so sighed and folded his hands behind him. "I think our enemy has done something to the Silver one."
"The Creator?" Gorrum spoke after thinking about 'their enemy' for quite some time.
"Yes. I saw a memory. A memory that cracked the memory oasis Keng has created. It was away from the waters and it revealed to me something has happened to Keng."
"Is that the reason why he was forcefully shot away from Lee Seng?" Gorrum asked.
"I'm not sure." Jyu'so turned to Gorrum. "All I know is something wanted me to know it existed. It even tried to taunt me."
"Something exists within him? What is it?"
"Nothing good. It was cocky and acted like it was indestructable. It came close to me and I wrapped my fingers around that ghost and it grew scared. It fled after spewing insults at me." Gorrum looked at Keng as Jyu'so finished his story. He hadn't thought it would be possible for a human, no a Biohuman, to get their hands on a Fox Spirit and do something to them.
"What should we do then?" Gorrum asked quietly.
"We figure out the problem at hand, first." Jyu'so answered. "We figure out why he went into Feral Madness willingly. I don't think he'll get any help with a human problem in Daros." Jyu'so turned and started towards the door. Gorrum gave Keng one last look before following.
"We do nothing then? What if he wakes up?" Gorrum asked.
"The chains will hold him through the night. I'll come in early and wake him up myself when morning comes. Our top priority is Lily and Keng, got it?"
"Yes, sir." Gorrum nodded, closing the door.
—
Keng had dreams about Lee Seng and him meeting for the first time. The dreams felt so real that he woke up and realized he was in bed. The shadowy chains rattled.
"What is this?" Keng wondered. His brain lagged and he remembered he was captured by hobgoblins. He was about to start screaming when a hand covered his mouth.
"Shush. It's too early for you to scream." Jyu'so grumbled. His head poked into view. He removed his hand and sighed as he leaned back into his chair.
"Why are you here?" Keng asked turning to look to the left.
"Why am I here? Silver one, you do not remember what you did yesterday?" Jyu'so asked.
"What I did…? What did I…" The memories flooded back. He remembered being captured. The hobgoblins forcing him to have sex. He remembered slaughtering them because he was so angry. Because of the rage.
"You slaughtered those hobgoblins and only started to feast when you got to the Shadow hobgoblin. You slipped into Feral Madness willingly! Who does that!?! Do you want to die!?!" Jyu'so shouted.
"W-why are you yelling?"
"Why are you questioning why I'm yelling?!?" Jyu'so slapped the boy and shook his head. "You know you found your way back here, right? You attacked Lily, Keng! You attacked me! You would've done much worst to Lily if it weren't for me! Do you understand Feral Madness is not something you can play around with like playing sticks?"
Jyu'so was actually yelling at Keng. Keng never thought someone would yell at him, ever. He never felt like he'd belonged anywhere and only felt like he belonged to Lee Seng. The emotions Jyu'so was displaying were interesting yet also very scary. Jyu'so was quiet, calm, collected. But here he was angry and yelling at him about his choice of going into Feral Madness.
"I… I…" Keng stuttered. His brain was having a hard time registering what Jyu'so told him. "I hurt… Lily? I hurt you?"
"You didn't hurt me, idiot!" Jyu'so yelled. He had called Keng an idiot in Fox tongue and it stung more that way. "The Pink one is in a mess because of you! Gorrum's tried to calm her yesterday and she cried herself to sleep! To think you made a young lady cry! I wouldn't even be surprised if she didn't want to be anywhere near you!"
Jyu'so had slipped into full Fox Spirit mode. He was yelling at Keng in Fox tongue and pacing the bed.
'Is this how it feels when Akio yells at Lee Seng?' Keng wondered. Jyu'so stopped and Keng immediately was yanked straight into Jyu'so.
"I'm working you to the bone for the next week, boy. Do not compare me to whatever human you're comparing me to." With a flick the chains flew off and Keng went flying off the bed. He landed with a loud thump on the ground as Jyu'so took a couple steps back. "Clean yourself. You smell like hobgoblin. Get whatever juices you got on yourself from that horrid attempt to get your seed and come outside after."
The door opened and slammed behind Jyu'so as Keng groaned as he flipped himself onto his back.
"I'm so fucked!" Keng groaned. He flailed his arms and legs as the chair pushed away from him. "AHHHHHHH!"
Keng grabbed some clothes and opened the door. He began to turn when he spotted Lily coming out of her room. Lily looked up and realized it was Keng and froze. Keng sighed and debated on saying something but moved back into the room and shut the door. He listened for awhile and heard Lily's small steps quickly rush past him.
'I don't know what to do in this situation.' Keng sighed. He opened the door and looked around before going to the bathroom. He shut the door and locked it behind him. He pulled his clothes off and checked his body. He didn't see any marks as he wandered over to the large circle. He hit the water rune and felt the water rain down on him.
'I killed all of those hobgoblins… After… what happened…'
Lights began to spark everywhere. Keng groaned and rubbed his eyes. He clawed his chest and felt the orb pulling out of him.
'Shit. I didn't—"
The orb hummed as it floated a couple inches away from his chest. Keng let out another long sigh and eventually raised it up to his eyes.
"I might as well check. Feasting is efficient but how efficient is it?" Keng whispered.

"There's so many level ups… This is what feasting can do?" Keng whispered. He began to tap at the air, mimicking what Lee Seng did. He found himself not hitting anything and sighed as he pulled his eye away from the orb. "Didn't he tap the air like that? Or did he do something else?"
Keng fiddled around with the orb for awhile and eventually figured out a way that worked for him. He held the orb in both of his hands and watched the skills pop up in front of him. He moved one of his hands to tap [Soul Eater] and watched the screen change.
