Lee Seng sat alone in his room. He leaned against the foot of the bed. He could feel exhaustion washing into his system. All of that work must've woke him back up… Lee Seng clawed his chest and pulled the orb out. His stats popped up. There was even his stats at the bottom of his growing list of abilities and skills.

"There's a bunch of new stuff…." Lee Seng studied his stats. "There's a lot to master. I should really practice." His hand twirled the orb in his hand for awhile. There were many possibilities. "The only way to figure all of this out is to practice against real opponents." He pushed the orb back into his chest and went to take a shower.
The Next Day
Lee Seng awoke to the noise of chimes. It was probably his watch going off. He groggily rolled over to the right side of the bed and fished for the watch. He pulled it and looked at it. It was the alarm he set. He rolled onto his back and yawned.
Lee Seng did his morning routine and found himself wandering around the halls of the estate. He had a wide variety of clothes to choose from and yet he opted to look plain with a t-shirt and shorts. He roamed the halls, Fox mask looking around before breakfast. He stumbled upon a huge gym. It had a bunch of exercise equipment and there seemed to be people working out with their masks/face coverings on.
"How do they even do that? I would be dying." Lee Seng muttered.
"Hey, get outta the way!" An annoyingly familiar voice shouted. Lee Seng turned and noticed it was Takio and his thugs. "You!" Takio pointed at him. "You're that brat!" Before Takio or his thugs could do anything to him, Lee Seng quickly moved into the gym and out of the way.
"I see you're still around." Lee Seng commented. He wanted to workout but had a huge feeling he wouldn't get any in. Takio and his goons stepped into the room, blocking the door. Most people began to glance at them while the few who hadn't, continued with their workouts.
'He's alone and there isn't anyone powerful like the Viscount around. I can show him a lesson!' Takio grinned.
"It seems we have unfinished business, you and I." Takio spoke loudly. "Why don't we finish it with a little match?"
"A match? Of what? Who can do more squats than the other?" Lee Seng asked.
"No!" Thug 1 shouted. "Finish that match Viscount—"
"Our fight. I wasn't done with you. Let's finish it." Takio told Lee Seng.
"Oh that." Lee Seng nodded. "I thought you were done. If I remember correctly you said something like you didn't want to 'stoop so low.'"
'Dammit, he remembered.' Takio gritted his teeth together.
"It's a new day and I'm feeling a bit competitive. Let's fight!" Takio sized the Fox boy up. Lee Seng sighed and shook his head.
"I don't got to do nothing. If I beat you, your goons will just come after me. If I beat them, you'll come after me. It's really a lose-lose situation for all of us. We both don't get anything out of this." Lee Seng told Takio. "So, let me get a workout in before breakfast, 'kay?" Takio gritted his teeth. He balled his hands up as his eyes glared at Lee Seng. The ethereal mask shook like water as Takio's eyes tried to burn straight through the newbie.
"Lord Cain's Debt Collector isn't what I thought it'd be." Thug 2 spoke up. Lee Seng's eyes went over to the thugs. "You don't put anyone in their place like Lord Cain does. You shy away from fights and don't choose to accept your place with the high ones. Aren't you just dragging your Lord down?"
'Nice job.' Takio thought. 'This'll bait him.'
"Mmm, that might be true." Lee Seng nodded. He shrugged and turned away from them. "I already have some much eyes on me doing that anyways. Lord Cain's Debt Collector already causes a lot of attention. Do I need more?" He let out a small chuckle as he moved to one of the treadmills. Takio's face burned bright red as his fists shook.
"He's so dead." Takio growled. Unbeknownst to Lee Seng, Takio's true nature was coming out. His gift, given directly from Lady Beth, was showing up. His form flickered and grew more ethereal green as he watched Lee Seng start his run.
"Guys," Takio addressed his goons. "We'll jump him. Keep an eye on him and when it comes time for him to do his Debt Collecting, we'll ambush him. Got it?"
"Yes, sir." The thugs all nodded in unison.
"You'll only bring shame to your Lord after I'm done with you." Takio whispered.
After running at a ridiculous speed, Lee Seng showered and dressed up in more 'appropriate' Debt Collector fashion and headed to breakfast. He noticed Lisa and David making small talk and instantly came over to sit with them.
"Hey." Lee Seng waved. Lisa and David looked at him, waving. They didn't smile at him. They looked at him with a serious expression. "What's up?"
"L-L-L-Lee Seng… Don't tell me y-y-y-you picked a fi-fight with Lady Be-Beth's Collectors…" Lisa asked him.
"No?" Lee Seng answered, confused. "I just saw Takio this morning by the gym when I was looking for a place to work out. What's with me messing with Lady Beth's Collectors?"
"Well," David leaned in. "You pissed off her Collectors, somehow. It's been circulating."
'How do they hear everything so fast? It hasn't even been that long…' Lee Seng thought.
"Just try to stay clear of Takio and his goons for awhile, 'kay?" David continued. Lee Seng nodded as the bell went off.
"Another morning serving you all." The head maid spoke. Lee Seng's eyes went to the floating woman with her two small maids behind her. David looked away as if on cue while Lisa began to hide herself with her wild hair. "Please eat your fill. Most of you won't be here for lunch, so remember to request for extra food like always. With that, please enjoy your food." She motioned and food appeared in front of them.
"I wish I could figure out this magic." Lee Seng whispered to himself. He pulled the tray of food towards him and began to dig in.
"So, Lee Seng, what're you gonna do today?" David asked.
"Huh? Why?" Lee Seng asked.
"Well… Lisa and I always wanted to do a team mission together, but we never had enough people because… Y'know." David looked around. "We wanted to ask if you would join us."
"I-i-i-it would mean a-a-a lot to us if y-y-y-y-you joined…" Lisa chimed in. The both of them looked at him with puppy eyes. They both seemed eager for him to say yes.
