Chapter 722 To Grandma's House!

Name:Biohuman Author:
Olivia crashed on the ground into a horrible mess. She cried for Lexie to save them. To save her friends. Lexie gulped and looked at the casualties she had found.

"Where?" Lexie asked Olivia with a steady voice. "Where are they?" Olivia pointed where she came from, burying her head into Lexie's shoulder.

"Please. A-Alex and L-Lee Seng… Oh god…" Olivia cried. Lexie gulped and nodded.

"Stay here, okay?" Lexie tapped Olivia and released a healing pulse. It would keep her from worsening her condition like the rest of the people she had found. She turned and looked at the students and teacher.

"Go…" The teacher told her. "Do your job." Lexie sprinted down the forest. She ran and eventually found herself out of the forest. It smelled of acid and fire. An acidic burnt body laid off to Lexie's right as she took in the sight. Two young men were standing around two bodies. Lexie rushed over to them and noticed Alex was coughing.

"Alex!" Lexie shouted. Alex weakly turned his attention onto Lexie as Ritsuka and Evan followed suit. "What happened to you?" She knelt and looked at his wounds. She instantly tapped him in a couple spots and allowed the healing lights to take over.

"N-not me first… You need to save him… Save him enough for Olivia's… Grandmother." Alex pointed. Lexie turned and immediately covered her mouth. She tried to hold it in but turned and puked.

"Can you stabilize him enough to get surgery with Olivia's grandma?" Evan asked.

"I… I can try but… I've never dealt with anything like this before." Lexie wiped her mouth and turned.

"Please, Lexie… If it weren't for them, we would've all died." Alex pleaded. Lexie nodded and moved over to Lee Seng. There were five slashes on Lee Seng's body. The middle part seemed to do the most damage.

The tendrils slowly continued to keep him together. Lexie looked at Evan and Ritsuka who only looked at her with worry.

"I can't find him!" Liz shouted, appearing back. She was frantic and trying to catch her breath. "What do we do? Lee Seng will die at this point."

"Olivia's friend can stabilize him." Ritsuka motioned. "Right?" Liz and Ritsuka turned their attention onto Lexie, who was trying to figure out where to begin. She snapped out of it and looked at Ritsuka, Evan and then Liz, nodding.

"'I can stabilize him long enough for Dr. Ok to handle him. I can't fully heal people, but I can keep them alive for real help." Lexie reassured them. She grabbed Lee Seng's shoulder and winced. The odd tendrils and tendril-leech things were odd. Lexie pushed through it and began to set healing lights on him. The lights moved like little fairies. They tended to the wounds where Lexie had touched. She moved over to the largest area, Lee Seng's arms and chest and released a couple more.

Lexie quickly grew tired. She had never done something of this scale before. Everyone she had healed before were only scratched or slightly injured. She had never tried to heal for someone this badly injured.

"Lexie." Alex called out to her. He pushed through his own pain and had sat himself up. He put a hand on Lexie which spooked her. She screamed and instinctively tried to smack Alex away. "Lexie, it's me. It's okay. You're fine. You can do this."

"I-I… I've never done anything like this, Alex... I…" Lexie's eyes began to water. Her lips quivered as she looked at Lee Seng. There weren't a lot of healing lights on Lee Seng. Her lights struggled to hold the loss of blood.

"You can do it. I know you can. Take my healing lights if you need to help him. I won't die." Alex reassured Lexie.

"But your wounds!"

"Lex… I will be fine. Save their friend." Alex stared at Lexie, giving an encouraging smile. Lexie slowly nodded and reached out of the lights on Alex. She pulled them away and moved them onto Lee Seng. Lee Seng's bleeding began to stop and a weight the entire group hadn't noticed, lifted. Lexie felt like she could breathe again.

"Now what?" Evan asked. "Isn't Grandma Ok far from here?"

"It's a fifteen-minute walk." Alex pushed himself up. "We'll take him as fast as we can."

"Will he survive that long?" Liz asked. "What if the bleeding starts? He won't make it then. He could be dead by then!"

"Let's put him in my void." Ritsuka suggested.

"No, you depleted yourself because of that!" Evan shook his head.

"We all got a surge of energy! I know you felt it!" Ritsuka pointed at Evan and then pointed at Lee Seng. "He gave it to us. He made sure we could turn the tide! If it wasn't for Lee, we would be—" Ritsuka and the group grew silent. Ritsuka, Evan and Liz started to turn away when a strange mark on Lee Seng's chest grew.

"What's that?" Lexie asked. Alex pulled Lexie away from Lee Seng. The group turned to look and noticed a sigil. It was two suns – one silver and one gold – interconnected. Ritsuka's mouth dropped. He knew what this sigil was. He had seen it in Daros before.

"No way." Ritsuka whispered. Evan, Liz and Ritsuka took a step back as the light shot out of Lee Seng's body. It grew large, forming a humanoid standing in between Liz and Evan, near Lee Seng's head. A set of animal ears appeared at the top of the humanoid's head and then six tails (double check this). The light dissipated and a similar looking Lee Seng appeared without the fox ears and tails.

"Is that…?" Alex began to ask as Keng looked over at Lee Seng. Without a word, Keng picked up Lee Seng in his arms.

"Keng." Ritsuka managed to speak. "What're you… I thought you were…" Keng with Lee Seng in his arms lifted up the entire group around him. A large cosmic portal opened, and he flew into it, appearing in the forest where Olivia sobbed. A teacher tried to console the girl, who continued to cry in her arms.

"Let's go." Keng spoke in Korean. Olivia lifted her head and noticed Keng was smiling at her. "To your grandma's, right? Where is it?"

Without another word, Keng began to pick up anyone he saw and quickly pulled them towards the village. With Alex's help, they landed in front of Olivia's home.

"Grandma!" Olivia shouted, rushing up the steps and to the door. She threw the door open and noticed Grandma was chatting with a bunch of the older ladies. "Grandma!" Grandma Ok turned to look at Olivia and the room instantly grew cold.

"What's wrong, dear?" Grandma asked standing. The older ladies stood up with her, turning to look at the crying Olivia, covered in blood. "D-did you get in a fight? What happened?"

"Save him, please… Save him, grandma. H-he's gonna… He…" Olivia balled as she threw herself into her grandmother. Keng was the first to step in after Olivia.

"Please, help him." Keng pleaded. The older ladies all gasped.

"Su-ho, that boy…" Older lady 1 pointed. Grandma Ok pulled her granddaughter off of her and moved to Keng's side.

"What happened?" Grandma Ok looked at… "Lee Seng"?

"It's a long story, Grandma." Alex moved into the house with Lexie holding him. He clutched at his wound as more and more people came inside after him.

"The missing people!" The older ladies shouted.

"Ladies, I hate to cut teatime short, but it looks like I'm busy." Grandma Ok told them.

"I shall fetch my daughter and granddaughter for you." Older lady 2 said.

"I'll get the guards." Older lady 1 moved towards the door.

"We will help anyway we can, Su-ho." Older lady 3 nodded. Grandma Ok nodded and looked at the group.

"Bring the boy into the room over there." Grandma Ok pointed to the hallway next to the stairs. "Ladies, tag everyone based on how serious it is."

"We know, Su-ho. We'll tend to those we can tend to. You focus on the boy." Older lady 4 smiled. Grandma Ok and the ladies nodded and split. Grandma Ok pointed at Lexie and motioned for her to follow.

"Lexie, you come with me. You'll need to use your powers to stabilize him." Grandma Ok quickly took a hold of the situation and directed everyone to follow directions. She pulled Lexie in as Ritsuka, Olivia, Evan, and Liz followed. "You three need to stay here."

"But grandma—" Olivia cried.

"No buts!" Grandma stuck her finger up. Keng stood off to the side behind Grandma Ok as she looked at the children. "I don't know what happened, but you need to calm down right now, Olivia! Now's not the time to cry for your friend. Right now, is the time you need to pray for your friend and do your best to make sure everyone else is okay! That is what we need to do, alright? Do you understand?"

Olivia nodded as Grandma raised her eyebrows.

"Yes, Grandma." Olivia sniffed.

"Good." Grandma nodded. She looked over to Ritsuka, Evan and Liz. "Take care of my granddaughter. She's a bit of a crybaby when it comes to people she cares about. I need to take care of your friend now." Grandma turned and noticed Keng standing there. "Out, boy. I don't know who you are and why you look like Olivia's friend there, but you'll do no good here." She pushed Keng out and slammed the door shut and locked it.
