Chapter 170 - MEETING WITH THE IN-LAWS______2 (A FACE OFF WITH CHANGLE )

Inside the car, Yun Yi and Tan Fan could not bring themselves to chat freely like they normally did because of Lie Ruge. They were so delighted when she eventually initiated a conversation.

" So, guys what do Yi Lan's mum and dad like? Does Yi Lan's mum like shoes, clothes, gold trinkets, cars, perfumes and so on?", Lie Ruge asked inquisitively. It was so obvious to everyone that Lie Ruge wanted to please Yi Lan's parent, and she will not hesitate to buy them a huge Mansion right then if Yi Lan's parents adore fancy Mansion.

" I wouldn't say she doesn't like all those things you have just mentioned but buying her those things will not make her like your gift since everyone always gave her such gifts as presents. The truth is that Yi Lan's mum goes crazy if someone gives her either a quality painting painted by the famous Mr Ling or an embroidery work which is handmade by the person who presented the gifts", Yun Yi said delightfully. He did not see how Lie Ruge's expression changed when he made mention of embroidery work.

" Embroidery work? That is the only thing Ge'er sucks at. She does every other thing perfectly well, but she is very bad at embroidery maybe we will go ahead to purchase Mr Ling's paintings because that is a very little issue to Ge'er since she has connection all over the world", Xiao Bai said proudly as she turned her head to look at Lie Ruge.

" As you can see, she is already at it", Xiao Bai exclaimed happily when she saw Lie Ruge texting someone. Lie Ruge told the person to have all the best Mr Ling's paintings delivered to her Mansion in thirty minutes times.

" What else does she like apart from the two things you have just mentioned and what about Yi Lan's dad, what does he like?", Lie Ruge asked. Tan Fan could not easily reply to the questions since he was the one driving the car. He wanted to concentrate fully in the conversation, but he could not since he had to focus on driving the car.

" Sister-in-law, Daddy Yi particularly likes shoes, especially the top-notch leather shoes, combine with a necktie that perfectly complements the shoes", Tan Fan quickly answered the question before Yun Yi could.

" Ge'er just leave those two to me, I will choose just the perfect sets of shoes and neckties for your father-in-law", Xiao Bai said confidently while playfully tapping Lie Ruge's shoulder.

" Mummy Yi spends her leisure time reading novels especially romance novels, so she would appreciate it if you buy some top quality romance novels for her", Yun Yi chided in. They kept on chatting happily till they got to the mall. Xiao Bai specifically chose this particular mall because she did not want them to accidentally run into Changle. It wasn't because she was afraid of her but it was because she was scared of what she will do to that s.l.u.tty bitch if they were to run into her in the mall. Lie Ruge had already taken quick notes of what the guys had said in her brain, so she wouldn't make mistakes. When they arrived Yi Lan was already standing resting his back on his car with his long s.e.xy legs crossed. Everybody that passed by could not help taking a second glance at him because of how dazzling and handsome he was. With the way they dressed and how beautiful the two ladies were, they unintentionally gained the admiration of everyone in the mall. Since Lie Ruge had in mind what they wanted to buy, they didn't have to walk around the mall aimlessly, they immediately headed to the department where the world's top quality shoes were displayed and after picking about six pairs of shoes they headed to the department were all manner of neckties were sold, she picked about twenty sets of quality neckties that would suit the shoes that they have just picked. Yun Yi and Tan Fan just looked at the two ladies as they shopped with their mouth opened in awe. They didn't understand why they had to pick twenty ties when they could have picked only one or two ties and a pair of shoes to go along with the neckties. After shopping for all the things, they wanted both the ones Yun Yi and Tan Fan suggested and even ones they didn't mention, they headed to the female section to do some shopping for Yi Lan's mum. With the number one top supermodel with them shopping the best designer high heels, dresses, handbags/purses, and all other accessories was not a problem. After shopping intensively for about four hours, it was now time to go home. Walking back to the counter to pay for the stuffs they had shopped for, they ran into the queen of all pretenders, Lie Changle. Everyone expression turned sour when they saw her face. Even with his glasses and face cap on she was still able to recognize Yi Lan from afar of. The first thing she did after seeing Yi Lan was to run happily towards him with her hands spread in an attempt to hug him but unfortunately for her, Xiao Bai was standing just by the left-hand side of Yi Lan, so she quickly stretch out her right leg suddenly and Changle tripped on her outstretch leg without looking, and she lost balance. She was so happy when she saw herself falling towards Yi Lan's direction thinking that Yi Lan will catch her but too bad for her Yi Lan moved away from his former position, and she sustained a very bad fall. The guys could not hold back themselves from smiling when they saw what Xiao Bai and Yi Lan did. Yun Yi even gave Xiao Bai thumps up for what she did. Changle instantly faked a tear to gain Yi Lan's sympathy, but Yi Lan did not even blink an eye after seeing her in tears. Xiao Bai, Yun Yi and Tan Fan rolled their eyes in contempt when they saw her little pretentious acts.

" Xiao Bai, what have I done wrong to you to make you do this to me? How could you just trip me in such a cruel manner when I haven't wronged you in any way?", Changle asked pitifully as tears fell from her eyes.

" Oops, did I just trip you? Of course not, I guess you were blind not to have seen that my legs were here all this while, so I advised that you look where you are heading to or else you might not only sustain a bruise next but you might just get your two hands cut off for this single act of yours", Xiao Bai said sternly as she stared daggers at her.

" Brother Yi, just look at how Ge'er's best friend is maltreating your fiancé. She even had the guts to intentionally trip your wife-to-be", Changle said looking even more miserable. Yun Yi and Tan Fan could not hold in their laughter anymore, they burst out in a deafening laughter when Changle called herself Yi Lan's future wife.

" You are Third bro's future what? Wow! That is so hilarious", Yun Yi said as he burst out into another deafening laughter. 'Is something wrong with this lady's brain, doesn't she have eyes to see that Third bro has a very special someone in his life right now. If she thinks that she can ruin Third bro's relationship she should better quit right now or else Third bro might do the unthinkable to her right now', Yun Yi thought while shaking his head at the girl's stupidity. Lie Ruge and Yi Lan just silently watched the face-off. They knew that they would end up killing the scheming girl if they intervene, so they just allow the guys to handle her.

" How come you guys did not know that your Third bro has always loved only me since childhood? He is just using Ge'er to make me jealous or didn't you see the pictures....",

" Shut the hell up girl if you still love yourself alright? If you have some issues with your brain, I suggest that you should visit the psychiatric ward Ok? Don't make yourself look stupid in the presence of everyone", Tan Fan interrupted her coldly before she could complete her sentence. She did all that to gain everyone's sympathy, so she didn't care about what other people think about her as long as gains Yi Lan's pity her.

" You can weep as long as you like but Yi Lan will never look your side do you know why? That is because he doesn't even like you or give damn whether you are injured or not?", Xiao Bai bent down and whispered into her ears. Changle clenched her fist tightly in anger when she heard Xiao Bai's words, but she held back from reacting impulsively.

" Brother Yi, can you please help me up and I know that you're going out with Ge'er just to make me feel jealous but I hate to see her beside you right now. And surprise. ... I am willing to accept your love for me right now?", Changle said happily as she stretched out her two hands for Yi Lan to help her up from the floor. Yi Lan stared at her outstretched hands in disgust before he held Lie Ruge by her waist and walked out of the mall without taking a second glance at the pitiful figure on the floor.

" As you can see, he doesn't love you and none of the two guys here gives a damn about you and I know that you will eventually stand up from the floor on your own without anyone's assistance", Xiao Bai said holding onto the two guys hands proudly.

" You should be thankful that you are still alive after what you did but I advise you watch your back wherever you are going to because you don't know what those two people are capable of", Yun Yi warned her sternly before they walked to the counter and used Lie Ruge's black premium card which was with Xiao Bai to pay for all the stuff that they had purchased.

" You guys should just watch and see, I will make him marry me no matter what it takes", Lie Changle shouted to everyone's hearing. She did not even care that people were videoing her.

" That is if you can", Xiao Bai shouted back at her when they were almost at the entrance of the mall. Lie Changle shamefully stood up from the floor when she saw that none of the socialite were willing to help her up from the floor. With bruised hands and legs she quickly stumped out of the mall without even purchasing what she came there to buy. Lie Ruge rode in Yi Lan's car this time around. The atmosphere inside the car was so tensed and quiet. They did not utter a word to each other until they got to the Mansion. When they got to the Mansion both her dress and the paintings were already delivered. She didn't have to trouble herself in finding a pair of heels, earrings, necklace or bracelets since Yi Lan's package came with all those things. She was a professional when it came to make-up, but she made Xiao Bai fixed her make-up for her and within thirty minutes she walked majestically down the stairs with the guys' eyes bulging out in surprise. Tan Fan and Yun Yi thought that they saw an angel descend from heaven when they saw Lie Ruge descend from the stairs in her sparkling white off-shoulders flair dress with her high heels on. The dress was just about two inches below her knees. Yi Lan bought just the perfect dress that will leave his parent awestruck when they set their eyes on his woman.

" Wow! Sister-in-law, you look splendid. No words can describe your exact look right now. If you look this fabulous in this white dress, I wonder how breathtakingly beautiful you will look in your wedding gown", Yun Yi exclaimed in amazement with his eyes shining brightly. They will never get use to how beautiful their sister-in-law was.
