Chapter 51 Encounter With A Colossus: Hammerjaw Taurax

The train continuously moved with astonishing speed in accordance to the tracks.

By the time they left the city behind, half a day had gone. Erian could see a huge wall that towered over thousands of meters surrounding the city. It seems to be some sort of barrier protecting the entire city from outside threats!

By this point, all the students were in shock as they gasped in awe including Erian. This was their first time outside of a city if they even had any idea there was an outside to the city.

The land was incredibly vast and luscious! Just an hour of moving beyond the city, most of the students instantly fell in love with its environment. The intoxicating smell of the wild and the freshness of the air. Even the atomic energy within this place was pure and more than ten times that of the inner city.

Just when the students were already getting used to the scene, someone instantly exclaimed in shock.

"W-what is that!?"

The several students gazed at the direction gbe young man was pointing at and their eyes constricted as fear filled their faces.

A strange beast about 20-30 meters tall was staring at the train with its six eyes, three in each side that was as big as any of the students. The strange beast had a flat head that looked like an hammer. Two protruding axe shape bones that stretched out from the corner of its mouth like whiskers and a head as shape as a pine cone.

It's body looked like that of a rhino as bones stretched out from its body, encasing it in an armour.

"I-it's a Colossus!" A student screamed in fear.

Suddenly, its eyes caught sight of the student and then realised there was food inside of the train.

"Gyaooooooonnnn!!!"

A massive roar exploded from its mouth, causing the entire thousand meters to ripple in soundwaves! The students immediately turned pale and even the weaker ones bleed from their ears!

Trees fluttered with tree wind as it abruptly stomped its pillar-like foot against the ground.

"Boom!" The earth trembled as though it was made of glass, rippling like an eight magnitude earthquake, the beast suddenly dashed at a straight line, towards the train like a bull.

"Ahhh! We are dead!"

Several students cried out in fear, tears and muscus streaming down their faces watching as the beast kept running towards them with ground shaking footsteps. But the female envoy who had gone out before acted as though she hadn't heard them as they screamed their lungs out in tears.

By this point, even Erian's face had turned pale. But soon, he notice something. No matter how fast the Colossus tried to run, it couldn't out run the train. The train speed was several times fast than Colossus successfully escaping from it. In less ten minutes, the Colossus was already out of sight.

The hundreds of students sighed in relief, getting up on their feet in embarrassment, the various students who had embarrassed themselves by falling quickly got up and took their seat.

But no one blamed them as what they had just seen was beyond their capability.

Erian's eyes were wide open, he panted heavily. Extreme excitement flashing across his eyes. He didn't think level nine was the pinnacle, but he had though he would still be able to handle a Colossus but hlut turned out that even his system was too weak to identify the strength of the beast!

"Whew! That was intense!" The fatty by Erian's seat wiggled his chubby cheeks as he flopped to his seat, swearing profusely.

"Outside the wall is beautiful, free and relaxing, who would have thought it would be this dangerous? I hope we get out of here soon." The fatty muttered, quickly fastening his seat belt. Who knows what would happen next.

Erian filled in his footsteps, also fastening his seat belt.

"Hooooooooong!" A blasting sound echoed in the distance, shocking everyone on the train.

At the driver's compartment of the Train, a sleeping middle-aged man removed the book from his face and said drowsily to the lady seated before him. "It's your turn this time."

Bloodthorn laughed in derision as she continued clipping her nails. "Do you think you can trick me this time? Last year's Category I Bonesquid Hound was taken care by me, this time, it's your turn to act."

The middle-aged man sleepy eyes revealed confusion and suspicion on his face. "Why do I remember killing the beast then?"

"You probably dreamt of it at some point from sleeping too much. If you kill as much as you sleep, you might have actually advanced three stages at this point." Bloodthorn ridiculed.

"Forget it, Killing is extremely tiresome, I'd rather sleep." Getting up to his feet, the man stretched lightly.

"The colossus are running rampant these days. They usually wouldn't have gotten this close to the city wall out of fear. Perhaps they are planning something." Bloodthorn suddenly said with a frown.

"Why do you think too much? If they try to pass the wall, they will die, what's there to think about." The man muttered while removing his shirt, revealing a very muscular body that was extremely streamlined with buldging muscles.

Bloodthorn rolled her eyes. She didn't know why she was speaking to him regarding strategies. Apart from eating and sleeping, there was nothing he loved more.

"Don't you want to check out what you are dealing with first?"

The door to the cabin opened with a slight mechanical sound. The man waves his hands as though he didn't want to know. The train moved through the land like an artillery shell, but the man was unperturbed as he leapt out.
