"Uhn?" Erian gazed incredulously at his holo-watch. He hadn't expected to receive such good news at this time. He was most certainly surprised, but then he let out a wild grin. With the Level-2 authority, he could access the third floor of the Archive, having the chance to get techniques of an even higher level!

One of the information about a level two authority stated that he could select a technique of a higher tier. Instead of the entry level techniques newly admitted students are allowed to receive for free, Erian get to select one Nuclear technique and Combat tactic of the Rare Tier!

Excitedly, Erian moved to the next floor, his heart pounding loudly with a desirous avid. The third floor was blocked by a huge metallic door, seemingly not made purely of metal. With the golden frame of the large door, dark weirdly shaped pattern was deeply etched on the door. The pattern looked like a huge snake with spikes jutting out of its entire body, blood dripping out from its mouth and ripped skin.

This made the door looked really sinister, but it was strangely pretty at the same time! This made Erian pause, slightly pondering of the large door was also made of a beast skin, same as the statue outside.

A beam escaped the eyes of beast like a laser. But Erian wasn't shocked as the beam stopped near his heart, scanning the badge he had hung by his shirt. In the next second, the metallic frame released a mechanical sound as the door opened up.

Taking in a deep breath, Erian walked inside and was greeted by an entirely pure white large room without a single speck of stain within. Yet, the most shocking aspect was the fact that despite the books neatly arranged in the shelves, they did nothing to ruin the germaphobic vibe of the hall.

Walking carefully to one of the shelves, Erian stopped to pick up the first book before him. It was a slightly old manual with glossy but dry and fluffy texture. He couldn't open the book though and could only read the introductory text at the front page.
