Chapter 85 Trump Card

Through the highly heated fog, Erian remained silent his mind spinning as he thought of ways to get out of this dangerous situation.

This wouldn't have been a problem if he was any where near the safe zone. But the exchange of attack he had with the opponent had pushed him deeper into the dangerous zone.

He could take the chance to flee from the other side, but he was well aware of his strength and agility. It was no where close to his opponent's. Hidden in his pocket, he nervously twirled a syringe rapidly between his fingers.

Erian squinted through the foggy area before him. Usually, he shouldn't have been able to peer see through the intense fog but after his abnormal transition to the merging of Titan gene, all of his senses had amplified. Seeing through the fog was seamless, but he did nothing to give it away.

"What is your name?" Erian finally asked.

A cold chuckle came out from within the fog. "It's useless to know."

Suddenly, Erian's highly sensitive skin reacted as he felt the fog by his left trembled lightly. A sharp murderous wave sweeping towards his skull like the attack of a poltergeist.

His hair jolted upwards into the air as he slithered backwards like a snake. A kick with terrifying ton of force brushed past his face with roughly an inch apart.

The ground trembled heavily and a massive bang echoed as the kick slammed into the ground.

Erian's stance remained stable through the rocky ground without faltering. His expression solemn and his pupils shifted to the corner ofvg his eyes.

The young man's figure emerged from the fog, a crazy smile on his face as his orange-tinted hair floated in the hair as though the previous me had stopped. Heated wind screeched and the fog seem to have been sliced apart. The palm slashed downwards with the force of tens of tons towards Erian's shoulder.

Feeling the force accompanying the palm slash, Erian frowned slightly. Stomping his feet heavily to the ground, he shifted his body to the edge of his feet using all his strength while simultaneously pivoting his shoulder.

With a pfft sound, blood spurted out from his arm but was quickly dried up by the extreme heat. Although he had barely avoiding his arm obliterated, a long gash could be seen on his shoulder.

As he hurriedly retreated he stomped heavily to the ground, releasing shards of stone and dust in the air to disrupt his opponent senses while at the same time not daring to move in a straight line.

In cue, a shockwave blasted past Erian's neck and the rocks that were still in midair shattered to dust. Erian instantly rolled forward, avoiding a sidekick that headed towards his head with intense force.

Knowing his speed wasn't on per with his opponent, Erian planned to use as little movement as possible to overcome the gap in speed. He could only defend until an opportunity arrives. But, it was getting increasingly difficult to evade attacks after attacks.

Roughly half the time it takes for photons emitted from the surface of the Sun to travel across the vacuum of space to the earth, Erian's body was littered with gashes and blood.

The young man was extremely ruthless and even though it seems like his strike was headed for the kill, he seem to be enjoying the torture he inflicted on Erian with the sadistic smile on his face.

Erian's eyes was entirely red and blood spilling from the corners of his lips, but his expression was extremely calm with not a singke hint of panic in them.

At this time, the life span of the flaming fog had reached its end as it started to fade along with every shockwave created by the two individuals collision.

"Weak! Weak!! Too weak!" The young man howled in anger as he let lose another punch.

"Thump!"

Quickly crossing his arm in defense, he poured intses amount of nuclear energy into the glove, making it glow slightly as it's defense increase significantly.

"Bang!"

Erian's body skidded forcefully backwards and he staggered five steps backwards with half a meter deep imprint on every foot steps.

Both his arms were completely numb and his body ached as the force travelled through him, threatening to weaken his bones until the kinetic energy finally faded.

Before he could recover, a violent storm pushed towards him like a tsunami. Erian didn't have time to regain his stance when a fist seem to have rendered space apart, shooting right towards his chest.

"Boom!"

Erian's chest instantly caved in. The shockwave rippled, blasting apart everything within a meter radius as the cloth on Erian's chest disintegrated. He spat out mouthfuls of blood on the ground, his body extremely weak.

A hand similar to an hydraulic lock gripped the elite student's fist in an inescapable hold. The elite student revealed a stunned look

It was at this moment Erian raised his head, revealing his face. Strangely enough, a smirk and a murderous look was in his face.

"Got you."

A dark smile on his face, Erian clenched his fist so hard sparks flint off the metallic gloves.

A crimson luminescence radiated near his heart like lightning.

"Rumble!"

Erian commanded in his mind, and multiple strands of atomic energy moved along his body like an ocean wave!

This time round, the effect it had was a slight scorching heat that radiated from his flowing nuclear pulse, to his entire body.

The heat from the nuclear energy was even more intense than before as it became extremely hot! It travelled across his muscles, skin and bone marrow, Erian felt as if they were on fire.

Heat waves emitted from both his shoulders, burning up the atmosphere, travelling along the back of his waist, and flowing through his veins into his right arm before fusing into his gloved right wrist, Illuminating the nuclear weapon in its glow.

"First Hell: Inferno's rage!"

Erian's muscles trembled violently as green veins as thick as an adult human finger erupted in a web-shaped pattern all over his skin. Under the pressure of the nuclear energy, Erian's strength grew by a fold!

"DIE!!!" Erian bellowed in rage, pushing his strength to the maximum. Suddenly, the intense heat around him converged around his fist and under the threat of death, his grip tightened, and he slammed the fist forward. He let out a low roar that shook aside the cloud of dust, shaking the ground with a massive blast.

"Boom!!!"

A massive destructive shock wave exploded outward from the ground all the way up to the sky. Like a boulder falling into a still pond, the ripple in the air seem to materialized into waves, hitting against each other and spreading further in all sides!
