Chapter 94 Rewards And Loot

At that moment, a net of electricity trigger red, erupting out from the walls as they locked down the entire forbidden zone like an egg, with no place to escape. A delicious barbecue aroma escaped the Crimson Envoy's body as he was constantly being zapped by massive jolts of electricity that seemed about a few thousand watts.

But the envoy acted as though he didn't feel anything! His physique was just too monstrous as his skin remained unaffected despite the intense amount of electricity branching out to zap him.

Stepping back into the forbidden zone, he squinted his eyes and gazed downwards, through the cloud of dust with a solemn expression on his face.

His furrowed brows suddenly loosened as his lips curled up to a smile. "Interesting, interesting!" stretching his muscles, he removed his gaze away from the empty bowl-shaped depression in the ground which Erian had caused, walking along the wall as he waved upwards towards the two Envoys watching him.

Licking his lips hungrily, Envoy Nine smiled cheerfully as he said. "Five and Fourteen! I'm so glad you two are here!"

"Sir Erian, you are ba- W-what happened to you!" Beira freaked out seeing blood spill on the ground with every footstep Erian made.

The other two male servants were also shocked at Erian's retched appearance and instantly scrambled to help him. It was as though he had gone to hell and come back. The only clothing on him was his trouser that had transformed into a three-quarter pant.

p Erian ignored their helping hands. Wiping the blood off his lips. He turned towards the three servants.

"Do not let anyone into my room and do not disturb my recuperation!" The door slammed shut as Erian entered his room, locking it from behind.

An intense exhaustion that originated deep from his bones overcame him. He wasn't able to move three steps when he collapsed to the ground, unconscious. His last thought was sent to the system to soak his bones with his entire reserve of nuclear energy which wasn't even much any longer.

Six days passed rapidly like flowing water during Erian's recovery. During this period of time, numerous events and incidents developed one after the other.

Some wealthy individuals had exchanged their money for Blood points, using it to purchase expensive special serums that speed up the merge rate between their Titan gene and the Sapien gene thus giving rise to quite a few newly transformed Titans among the new students.

Chaos ensued as battles between Titans rumbled through the new student part of the academy. Since new students aren't allowed to kill each other, they could only battle to the last man standing.

The most prominent event was the battle between two of the ranked top ten students. Althea Whitaker, was said to be ranked 7th and Valeria King, was said to be ranked 5th by the students.

The battle between the two Female titans was caused by the apartments. Althea Whitaker who was an inhabitant of Building 7 challenged Valeria Kings who occupied building 5.

Not many people knew the result of the battle since not many people dared to get close to the battles of the two Titans even if they were females as the shockwave from their transformation alone was more than enough to kill most enhanced.

There was no news about the battle between Erian and the Envoy as most students didn't dare enter into the forbidden zone to have a look at the cause of the explosions.

On the night of the seventh day, Erian opened his eyes and an invincible wave of alpha ray escaped from his eyes, penetrating through the wall. He couldn't really see what was in the other side of the wall, but from the feedback, he could distinguish between humans and objects based in their resistivity to the alpha wave.

His muscles shivered abruptly and the surrounding nuclear energy dispersed as he stood up.

"Finally, fully healed from my injuries." Although he said this, there was not a single trace of joy on his face.

Six days ago, he bordered on the line of life and death. Escaping with slim luck with most of his bones broken and hidden internal injuries caused by forcefully using combat tactics he wasn't at all familiar with.

If It weren't for the system accurately filling his body with nuclear energy to stimulate his cells, genes and tissues to speed up his rate of recovery, he would have died right here in his room.

The most painful thing was that he lost his two Armoured Gloves and didn't manage to reap a single loot from the life and death battle, while the experience he gained was indeed useful, one could still say he had almost died for nothing!

"If I hadn't used the hack program before I left, I might truly have gained nothing from this experience." Erian grumbled.

The holo watch would never chime during battle which was probably why he hadn't heard it. Thinking the academy was stinging, Erian checked his holo-watch and his countanace froze, revealing a stunned look for a few seconds.

"H-how could it be so much?"

Abruptly he let loose a hearty laughter that lasted for several minute! He didn't stop laughing until his throat was alsmot dried.

"Hahaha! 429 million Bronx!!!" Erian was satisfied with a wide smile on his lips, thinking of how rich the envoy actually was.

If he had waited just a few more seconds, perhaps he might have transfered the man's entire wealth to his account, but he would probably be electrocuted by the electric-barrier.

While money can't replace life, Erian felt this amount was worth his battle with the envoy! He could exchange half of his wealth to blood points and finally have enough to buy serums to speed up his practice and increase his nuclear energy to the brim, leveling up his talent, combat Tactics and nyckewr techniques in the process!
