"Heard about your victory against the Second-year student, Ferge."
Erian waved his hand offhandedly. His foot step slowly resounding within the tight space of the office, his scrutinizing gaze glancing at the art work on the side walls of the office.
"You recognize the art work?" A sweet voice which seem like the tinkling of Christmas bells or the twitting of a beautiful bird bounced off the walls of the room.
Erian stared with a mesmerized gaze as though he had been bewitched. The piece of art before him wasn't large but was as large as a table. At the forefront of the artwork stands a towering snowy mountain, its grandeur accentuated by a pristine white landscape stretching as far as the eye can see.
Yet, what makes this artwork truly astonishing is the unexpected juxtaposition that awaits. From the depths of the mountain's core emerges an intense, blazing fire that engulfs the scene with its fiery brilliance. The flames dance with an otherworldly energy, their vibrant hues ranging from crimson and gold to mesmerizing shades of orange and yellow.
As the flames surge skyward, their intensity harmonizes with the surrounding coldness of the snowy terrain, creating a striking contrast that evokes a sense of both chaos and harmony.
ƥαṇdαηθνε| The power and dynamism of the fire juxtaposed against the serene and tranquil backdrop of the mountain creates a visual paradox that captures the viewer's imagination.
"You know about this?"
Erian's eye continued to linger on this art piece. Then he shook his head, indifferently retracting his gaze from the art piece.
"No, but they seem fascinating." He replied, walking towards the chair right before the desk and right before him.
On the desk was a beautiful matured lady who seem to be in her early thirties.
Her lustrous hair, adorned with subtle streaks of silver, cascades down her shoulders, framing a face that emanates both grace and confidence. A pair of eyes, sparkling with a mixture of intelligence and warmth, observe the world with discerning curiosity. Fine lines etch gently around them, accentuating the depth of her gaze.
Her lips, painted in a shade that complements her natural beauty, curve slightly, hinting at a knowing smile.
Adorned in an impeccably tailored attire, she exudes a refined sense of style. Her clothing, a reflection of her impeccable taste, embraces timeless sophistication. Every detail, from the choice of fabric to the impeccable fit, speaks of her discerning eye for quality and elegance.
As she sat in her chair, her posture was one of confidence and authority. Even Erian was intimidated by her aura.
This lady was Erian's master.
"Cut the crap, what exactly happened during that fight?" Her expression was cold and indifferent. The amount of command she exude was so astonishing Erian could barely keep his thoughts straight.
He chuckled, releasing a bit of beta waves to calm his mind and body as he responded in kind. "Like the others would say, I won the fight against the second-year student. Weren't you the one who permitted me to fight him in the first place?"
A crease appeared in the brows of the beautiful but matured lady. "If you had known what I meant, then we wouldn't be in this sort of situation!"
"Me asking you to accept the challenge doesn't mean you should win it. There are three sides to a fight. A lose, a win and a fvcking draw!"
Her voice rose a few octave as she spoke.
Erian now was skeptical. His win against the second year shouldn't have made his master this frustrated. Something else might have gone wrong.
"Master, are you afraid his master would look to you for trouble."
"Hehe!"
She let out a cold laugh instead and responded. "Look to me for trouble? Haven't found anyone that Mad enough as that Basterd to challenge me in the past decade years. As for trouble, I look for trouble, it doesn't search for me."
The confidence that she emanated immediately boosted Erian's confidence in her. After all, she wasn't an ordinary envoy but one of the three Grand Envoys within War-God University!
There was no way she would back down from a fight.
"But even then, you revealed your Thunder-God physique for the entire world to see! Now, that's a load of trouble even I hadn't dreamed of handling."
Erian frowned, his fingers tapping rhythmically at the chair's handle. "It was just an Aspect inheritance given to me by the trial. What does it have to do with anyone?"
The lady almost face palmed herself and suppressed the urge to face palm Erian. She knew she should have explained the matter to him before she told him to fight Ferge but she had thought he would keep the thunder stuffs a secret and didn't expect him to reveal it at the critical moment.
"If you had been smart enough to browse through the inheritance ranks you would have known the Lightning-eye Aspect is ranked at the top 500 on the Aspect-inheritance Index!"
Erin's brows further creased. "Of course I know, which was why I revealed it to get rid of further troubles."
This time, Erian's master froze, her eyes locked at him as though she couldn't believe his words. After a while, she spoke. "You mean to say you did it intentionally?"
Gazing at the serious look of his master, Erian hesitated before nodding slowly. "Yes."
"Fvck!"
"Bang!!!"
The entire table flipped over as it was sent crashing over the wall with the art hanging over it.
Erian had no choice but to shrink his head a bit, allowing the table to pass through over his head, slamming towards the wall with the painting. The clicking of heels sounded as Seraph paced about with a worried look on her beautiful face.
"Fvck! Didn't know your know you would be angry about it. What's all about the top 500 anyways? Isn't all just top 500 of the rankings? Why are you so worked up about it?"
Hearing this words, Erian's master paused and a tur devilish smile crept over her face, enhancing her beauty but at the same time making her look like a demon. "Why am I so worked up? You actually asked why the fvck I so worked up over it! Cause it's the fvcking top 500 in the world! What do you actually think? That this university is at the top 10,000 in this world!?
What a joke!
The War-God institute is just amongst the top ranking in the entire federation!
And how many federations are there you might ask!? We have thirty-seven federations! According to your question! And amongst the thirty-seven Federations, we are the least ranking federations amongst them.
When I say I can handle trouble, I meant trouble within the federation, who knew you would cause problems from me outside the Federation!"
Erian was about to refute when the his master interrupted.
"Just like now, for the entire institution, you've caused trouble for us. Sigh, they are here. Just keep quiet and let me handle this."
Erian wasn't able to talk when a sickening feeling of overwhelming dread drowned him like a tsunami.
Before he could respond, he found himself back in his room.
