The underground passage was only unique to the War-God academy. Erian wasn't new to them but this particular one was different.
It was alike black-hole, like the gate to the last abyss of hell! Cold, gloom and waves of life-threatening palpitations exudes from within it.
Walking until he was a single step into it, he took a deep breath and revealed a solemn expression.
"The 3rd abyss …" Erian mumbled. His footsteps were firm as he slowly walked down.
Tapping sounds rang out from under Erian's feet.
That was the sound of his footsteps landing on the steps. They echoed in the surroundings and were quite conspicuous in this quiet environment.
As for the sun ray from outside, they couldn't fully illuminate the depths of the 3rd abyss floor. Therefore, the world that Erian saw became increasingly dim.
When he reached the last steps, Erianstopped in his tracks.
This place was completely different from the ones he had seen.
The ground was damp and covered in moss. It was clearly only a few meters away, but when Erian looked at it, he felt as though he was in a different world from War-god Academy.
Although this place was also a train station, there were no trains, let alone train rails!
The entire wall was filled with murals.
The murals filled the walls. It depicted the gigantic beings of various figures! There was one that looked lik the sun, another similar to the moon and another like the clouds. There was even a being so astonishing his blood flowed lik rivers ands his body depicting mountains and buildings.
His cells were like all living beings!
It was like it depicted a complete world!
However, the colors were monotonous and dark.
Erian's heart shook. Looking at this painting, he thought of the possibility that there might be other genes apart from the Titan gene but now, he was completely sure!
A while later, Erian walked toward the mural. After sizing it up carefully, his pupils narrowed.
These murals seemed to be alive and everything inside was changing. Clouds and fog were drifting, and the mountains and rivers were changing.
It was as though that place was really a dark multiverse and Erian was standing outside the world, looking at everything.
"There's only one Train."
A cold and familiar voice suddenly rang out from behind Erian.
Erian turned around and saw a figure walking over from the darkness.
It was a tall old man. His gaze was cold and his entire body emitted a dense baleful radiation. If one stared at him for too long, their bodies will crumble, ghostly cries and howls would appear in their minds reducing their minds into nothingness. I think you should take a look at
It was as though countless living beings had died in his hands, causing countless blood waves to circle around him along with his radiation, emitting violence that could attack akin command.
"Greetings, Envoy Ghost!"
Erian immediately recognized who the person was. He was the Envoy in charge of the ins ands outs of Elite students within the academy. Some call him the Train-master while some call him the Task-master.
Back then Erian had just been passing by when he had personally seen the old man slap countless students to death, turning them to corpses, grabbing them as her left. No one knows what he uses them for.
Erian wasn't too surprised to see him. He greeted him respectfully.
The old man glanced at Erian indifferently, only a hint of admiration within his eyes.
"I remember you, the little fellow who was only a disposable Trooper."
"You advanced from an ordinary Titan so quickly. Not bad."
The old man smiled. However, the baleful waves of radiation on his body was too strong. His smile also carried a sinister feeling. If it was an ordinary person, they might have being affected by the intense amount of radiation coming off of him.
Almost to the point of mutating, their cell stimulated, rapidly multiplying in an unknown direction. However, Erian wasn't normal. This amount of radiation wasn't enough to stimulate his already mutated cells. He only felt that this was normal.
Noticing that Erian's expression didn't change, the old man nodded.
In reality, when he heard about Erian's feat of escaping the forbidden zone which had the Crimson Emperor Envoy locked within, and also defeating the Elites with higher purity of nuclear energy, and even making Supernals feel threatened, the old man didn't really feel like it was anything special.
Now seeing Erian, he could sense the vast amount of nuclear energy contained within him. To him, Erian's body was like a calm volcano ready to burst out at any time!
Also, Erian was respectful, not arrogant nor self centered as the other Supernals. Therefore, he felt satisfied seeing this attitude.
He walked closer to Erian and looked at the murals as he calmly spoke.
"Most of the powerhouse within Federation 36 are Titans. Do you know why?"
Erian's pupils constricted but he still spoke "Is it because it is the only method of evolution? " Erian thought about it and replied.
"I thought you would say that." The old man smiled.
"The path to evolution is forked like a jungle. There are different paths to take to get to a particular destination. However, this isn't the main point. The main point is… only those with tempered cell made of nuclear energy can withstand the strain of their genes being forcefully overwritten. This is the absolute rule!"
The old man's gaze was still on the murals and his voice echoed in all directions.
"The absolute rule? Therefore, regardless nuclear energy is still the most important?" Erian fell into deep thought and also looked at the murals.
" That is absolutely correct. Although forked, the road would till lead to the same junction. The same can be said for evolution. The path is forked but the further one goes, the more similar the roads becomes." The old man slowly spoke.
"The Titan evolution path isn't weak, neither is it strong but there is no doubt that is the most stable! Even the legendary Phoniex Gene and the Undead Gene cannot hope to compare in terms of stability and foundation!"
