Chapter 56: Otherworlders pt. 2

Name:Bloodlines Online Author:

In another region of the city the pair of demons were looking for the shadow user and had spent the entirety of the previous day searching.

Not only were they looking for the actual individual but they were looking for everywhere they had been using their mana to find a place they visited often and that place ended up as a forest clearing.

The crystal they brought with them could not only detect places dense with shadow elements but it could also find places where shadow spells had been used.

In this clearing it was burning up, they knew this place was used often as a training ground due to the significant amount of shadow infused mana that would need to be cast to make the crystal react this way.

"So how should we do this? Do you want to search for the mage or wait here?"

The larger of the two demons looked around for some time before shaking her head.

"I'll keep looking, im not as patient as you."

"Alright then take the crystal and keep looking I'll set up my tent nearby and wait for anything."

She moved deeper into the forest and the larger demon left the area to continue her search.

Deep inside of the forest something was awakening.

The dense mana that flowed into the world had heightened everything in the area and even here where the mana was previously thin and weak it was now so dense that a fog of raw mana was beginning to show itself.

In this forest where the mana was at its thickest point a dripping sound began, this dripping sound was deep within a cave.

Inside of that cave a creature was awakened with its burning red eyes looking for the source of that noise.

It wandered through the cave silently looking for the source and in this cave its eyes were the only source of any light, like a pair of stone covered in luminous moss.

It found the source of the dripping noise and soon a sound of lapping could be heard.

Whatever was dripping in this cave this creature was now drinking and after a few minutes of drinking whatever liquid it found the beast roared.

The roar grew in strength until it shook the woods and made beasts flee in terror.

Something had awakened in the land of Raylock.
