"…And yeah, I enrolled at an academy. What was its name again? Queenilia Imperial Academy, was it?" Unbelievable.
"Have a sweet dream and a good night. May the glory and blessings of the Queenilia's sun shine down upon you, young miss Alexandra." That was the first time he properly bid goodbye. The way he mentioned her name was gentle and smooth, it tugged a string of her heart. He looked like an adult when he spoke, his mocking tone was replaced with a gentle and calm one. He even bowed at her while he spoke. A gentle and sincere smile plastered on his face for the first time.

Three weeks have passed ever since Harrison left.
The flowers still bloomed beautifully and the birds chirped cheerfully. Alexandra was reading a book outside. She was sitting at the wooden chair of the picnic table, the one in the garden where she usually sits. She felt lonely and sad when Harrison went away but she overcame it with the thoughts, 5 years is just a short time and he will visit me when he has time. Diana and the other maids are still there to accompany her or play with her. However, three weeks have passed but he still hasn't paid a visit, he must be busy. "Young miss," Somebody called out to her in a gentle tone, the familiar voice rang inside her ears. Alexandra lifted her gaze and met eyes with the maid, Claire, the one who is assigned to guard her.
Claire was a beautiful maid who has blonde hair and green eyes but Diana was still the prettiest in young miss' eyes. Her voice was gentle and she walks like a noble lady. That was because she was a girl who came from a noble family and applied to work as a maid of Alexandra. The reason was because of Diana and Alexandra's charm that was like a flower, beautiful and attractive. Aside from that, Alexandra's background made Claire have the urge to take care of her and treat her like her younger sister, as her true family. She once had a sister who was beautiful and sweet but not as beautiful as Alexandra, however, her sister died because of a disease.
"Yes?" Alexandra answered and continued to stare at Claire's green eyes. "Would you like me to bring your cake?" Claire asked and faintly smiled at her. Alexandra thought for a moment if she wanted to eat cake or not and decided to eat, "Yes, please." Alexandra answered politely and Claire smiled again. She bowed before she left her behind and go back to the palace. Claire… How old is she again? 19? 20? 21? Alexandra thought to herself before she returned back to reading the book.
After she flipped 3 pages of the book, the sound of a plate being placed down caught her attention. She looked to see what was it and saw that it was a plate of cake Claire brought for her. "Thank you," Alexandra said. It was a strawberry cake, one of her favorites, the last time that she tasted strawberry cake was a few months ago, she only had chocolate cake, red velvet cake, cheesecake, mocha cake and other cakes whose name she can't remember. Her eyes showed excitement, she wanted to taste the cake immediately. She took it along with the fork and placed it in front her, near her chest.
She immediately attacked the cake and tasted it, the sweetness melted inside her mouth and she made a delightful face while she delightfully sighed, her eyes closed and her hand placed against her cheek. Claire, seeing her face, made her smile sweetly, she really did remind her of her sister, however, she knew that they were different people. "Do you like it, young miss?" Claire asked smiling at her and Alexandra nodded multiple times which made Claire chuckle.
After eating the cake, she went back on reading, however, the sweetness was still there inside her mouth. Evening came and they want back inside the palace because it's getting dark and it's almost time for Alexandra's dinner which was at 7:00. Alexandra took out the golden pocket watch inside her pocket—the one Harrison gave her before he disappeared that night— and opened it, she saw the clogs of many sizes turning and she looked at each of the arrows, the long arrow pointed at 5 and the short one pointed at the third line before the 8, 5:40 in the evening, early evening. She closed it and placed it back inside her pocket.
Alexandra waited at the living room of the palace, that was the 3rd time she went there, first was when she was 4, second was when she was 5 and the third one was now. The living room was big and it has a huge chandelier in the middle of the room, there was also a fireplace in the middle of the wall's room, in front of the couches and a table. There was also a bookshelf filled with books, however, Alexandra wasn't in the mood to read. A few paintings hanged on the wall, some of them were landscapes and some were enchanting paintings like a girl who looked like a fairy surrounded with fireflies.
Alexandra lazily sat on the couch and sighed. Fall is ending and winter is coming. This country experiences 4 seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter. The flowers at the garden never die though and can survive whatever season it is. Claire hired someone to surround the garden with the magic that will prevent them from dying or withering at whatever season, of course, they still need to be watered and take care of. The only thing it did was give the needs of the plant which the season, especially winter, doesn't have like warmth. The maids know that Alexandra loves the garden and the flowers that's why they decided to do it. Since Claire came from a rich noble family, she easily hired someone that could do it. When they did that, Alexandra felt happy, she knew that the maids cared for her truly.
Alexandra played with her hair, twirling it around her finger and brushing its ends at her cheek which felt ticklish. And finally, after hours of waiting alone in the living room, Diana called her and accompanied her to the dining where her dinner was served.

Alexandra finished taking a bath and changed her clothes with the help of Diana. She was tucked in the bed by her. "Diana, sing me a lullaby, please." She requested and Diana happily nodded her head and sat down beside her. It feels like she can't fall asleep if Diana will not sing her a lullaby.
"The star will twinkle,
the moon will shine,
forget the bad things,
you'll be in your paradise,
so close your eyes,
accept the light,
the moon and stars will guide you tonight,
sweet dreams and goodnight."
Her voice was enchanting as always, it was like silk, it was smooth. Her voice was gentle like the sea breeze, warm like the sun and sweet like honey which made Alexandra sleepy. When she finished the sing, Alexandra yawned and her eyes slowly closed. Darkness slowly engulfed her whole vision and her breathing became calm and stable. She was already peacefully sleeping before she knew it.
