Chapter 252 - Afterword (probably)

So I have been going through a lot with these headaches. It would happen like once in a month and would last for a few weeks thus affecting the quality of my chapters and making me not focus. It would also get worse as days passes by. Somehow, my health was getting bad. Both mental and physical health, to the point that I would have breakdowns ever so often and think about life then death then my novel, thinking about if I should drop it or not.

I'm tired, to be honest.

That's why I'm taking a break.

Well yeah.

Let me explain to you all the last arc of this volume because you all are confused about it. So this arc begins at the time Alexandra saw the portrait of her mother because her father showed it to her. Then that triggered some questions and thoughts inside her head thus making her confused about everything. She decided to go to the garden to clear her head and think about everything, however, she was ambushed or attacked.

It turns out that Lillianna and Beatrice (who was Mark dressing up as a female and were good at it because he was even able to change his voice into a girl one though it was deep) were traitors and they were planning on taking the princess away but Lillianna was just an assassin that was hired. She went stealth and with the help of Mark who was using some sort of invisible spell on her, Lillianna stabbed Carlos with the knife coated with poison.

Then bladabi bladabo, Alexandra ran around and tried to ask some help by making these continuous sounds of explosions and created a dust fog or something like that then she tried to escape along with Carlos but it still ended up being a failure as she was shot on the shoulder with an arrow (But before all of that, she stabbed Lillianna first who tried to attack her then told her to run away. It seems like she missed the shot on purpose). Then that's where Alexandra was taken away.

So there were three knights who were able to reach the final part, the part where Mark teleported along with Alexandra and they reported everything to the emperor who was alarmed by the news. Alexandra's elder brothers, Gilbert and Calixander had an argument though because Gilbert was worrying much more about Carlos rather than Alexandra but the argument was immediately finished as Gilbert lost his cool. Then after that, they just decided to help around the palace as trying to calm themselves down.

Alexandra went through so much when she was taken. They did some experiments on her or something though not in the way that you expect. It's like they are trying to summon a devil but would fail every time as nothing would happen. They were trying to awaken the powers that were hidden and sealed inside her but of course, Alexandra doesn't know that.

Fast forward, Lillianna woke up and she was interrogated by the Emperor along with his assistant, Klaus.

That's where they learned and gathered so much information that helped them in tracking Alexandra's location but it was only one clue. However, they also learned that Lillianna knows how to create the antidote, and yeah. Instead of asking other skilled pharmacists and herbalists' help, she decided to go to Maribelle and told them that she should be the one that would help her.

They finished the antidote in 3 days and they immediately gave that to Rowan who feeds the antidote to Carlos then he was cured. However, he still hasn't woke up which somehow makes them worry as well as Diana who was affected by everything the most.

Then Alexandra somehow had a 'friendly' conversation with Mark and she learned that he was the sibling of that girl who sold her younger brother, the one that kidnapped her when she was 12. What a small world then she dug her own grave by insulting and mocking Mark who was about to get angry but was stopped by Andres, the person that has been helping him.

Then after 7 days of searching and looking for the princess, they finally found her and the tower that she is in. Diana and Lillianna pleaded that they want to come with them, giving the emperor appropriate reasons and such which just made him surrender and agree but giving them a warning about how dangerous it would be.

So yeah, they went to the tower, blasted a hole on the wall, and was able to prevent some bad things from happening to Alexandra. So there's this battle, I don't have to explain that, do I?

Diana and Lillianna took Alexandra then they walked away, trying to escape. Andres got his head sliced off his neck by Lysander. Friyedor was winning the battle as the blade that he has summoned has pierced his enemy which was Mark. However, being the lunatic that he is, he laughed and told him some things then summoned his shortsword, aiming it at Diana's heart. Then it happened, Diana was stabbed.

She died.

That somehow made Alexandra lose control of herself and it awakened her magic, breaking the seal. The door with the chains around it symbolizes her magic, mana, or power being sealed with those chains that are threatening to break soon as the cracks expanded and largened because of Mark and Andres doing those experiments and such to her.

Alexandra loses control and lets herself be consumed by her mana and emotions which took control or authority of herself and her body.

Everything that happened after that would be in the 4th volume.

This arc basically opens the door to everything as Alexandra's powers were awakened. Harrison would also return in the next volume.
