Felix is currently in a remote city in Avalonia Kingdom called Bridgemoor. His predecessor had never left this city before, as far as he could remember.
Bridgemoor is just one of the many cities in the Avalonia Kingdom, located in a far-off place.
Felix let out a huge sigh of worry. Even though he was able to survive and come to this world, he felt that it was too dangerous for someone like him who didn't have any strength.
He knew that with his high intelligence and vast modern knowledge, making a living in this world would be easy.
However, he also knew that he needed to have the strength to protect himself, the people around him, and his wealth.
Although Felix could survive on his own, a lot of people were counting on him. Trinity, Zephyr, Gwendolyn, Nixie, Brixton, and the children - he couldn't leave them all alone. His predecessor had loved these people and considered them his only family.
At first, Felix had thought about abandoning them and going his own way, due to his past experiences. He didn't want anyone to be a burden to him.
But after delving into the memories of his predecessor and seeing how much they cared for each other, he was filled with complex emotions.
He had never had anyone care for him so deeply before.
Throughout his life, he had always been lonely.
Seeing happy families or groups of friends would fill him with jealousy and envy. He longed for that feeling of friendship and family that he saw in others.
It's not like he had never tried to make friends before, but all the friends he had only wanted his wealth and connections. They always wanted to take advantage of him, and he had even experienced betrayal more than once.
He had once searched for his missing parents, wanting to understand why he had been abandoned in a trash can like unwanted garbage.
With his vast wealth and connections, it didn't take long for him to locate his parents. However, what he discovered shattered his heart - they had abandoned him because they saw him as a mistake, a burden.
Felix, who had never consumed alcohol before and had never cried in his entire life, broke down and wept bitterly, drowning his sorrows in alcohol.
From that day on, Felix vowed to never trust anyone again. The only person he could trust was himself.
But now, in this new world he had entered after death, he found himself surrounded by people who deeply cared for him.
This filled his heart with a mix of emotions - happiness, fear, and everything in between. He was happy to finally feel cared for, but he feared it was all a dream, or that they would eventually betray or abandon him.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Felix made a decision.
"Since I've come to this world, I'll live my life well and take care of everyone from now on. From now on they are all my family," he thought with determination in his eyes.
Felix really admired his predecessor even he who was rich and powerful in his previous life didn't take in someone to take care of. Although he donates huge sums of money to charity annually.
But his predecessor didn't have anything but was able to look after so many people which is really admirable.
"Alright, we should go find some jobs to do," Gwendolyn said, glancing at Felix.
"Okay, you guys can go, just be careful on the road," Felix nodded, giving them a warning.
" Make sure to finished the food before it gets cold " Trinity said before leaving the room with the others.
" Zephyr, Brixton you two stay ", As they all left the room, Felix called out to Zephyr and Brixton, asking them to stay back.
The two of them exchanged glances and stayed behind while the others left.
"Why did you want us to stay back?" Zephyr asked, looking puzzled.
Brixton also seemed confused.
"I have something for you guys to do," Felix said with a smile.

Ten minutes later, Zephyr and Brixton walked out of Felix's room, still unsure about the task they had been given. They looked at each other, trying to figure out the reason behind it.
"Do you have any idea why big bro gave us this task?" Brixton asked Zephyr.
"I'm not sure, but I trust that big bro knows what he's doing," Zephyr shrugged and replied.
"Okay, let's go and carry out what big bro told us to do," Zephyr waved his hand as he headed out of the building, with Brixton following behind.

Back inside the room, Felix had a thoughtful expression on his face as he examined the holes in the roof.
"I hope Zephyr and Brixton can finish what I asked them to do," Felix pondered.

Suddenly, a cold voice echoed in Felix's head, causing him to snap out of his deep thoughts.
"Who..." Felix shouted, his eyes widening as he looked around, but he couldn't see the person who spoke.
