How Big is the Avalonia Kingdom?

The Avalonia Kingdom is a colossal expanse, so vast that it would take years to explore on foot!

Among its neighboring realms, Avalonia stands out as the largest kingdom, claiming the top spot in terms of land area.

This impressive size can be traced back to its glorious past as part of one of the mightiest empires on the Lunaris Continent.

However, after the death of its founding emperor thousands of years ago, the kingdom's strength waned significantly. Surrounding empires seized this opportunity to attack and carve away portions of its territory.

Despite its decline in power, Avalonia still boasts a solid foundation.

While many territories have been lost to rival empires, it remains larger than some kingdoms combined!

Even though Avalonia may not be as formidable as it once was, surrounding kingdoms think twice before provoking it, there's still a sense of respect for what remains.

Scattered across this vast kingdom are thousands of cities, towns, and villages. Bridgemoor City is just one among these countless settlements; nestled in a remote corner of Avalonia, it's far from the royal capital.

Infact Bridgemoor City and the other twelve cities are like defensive barriers around the Atmos Forest to to defend any threat from the Atmos Forest and the other Kingdoms have n the other side of the Atmos Forest.

For commoners making their way from Bridgemoor City to the capital, it's quite an undertaking, expect at least two months on foot!

If one is lucky enough to have a horse-drawn carriage, you might shave that down to about a month and a half.

But for mana cultivators? They can cover that distance in just a few days thanks to their enhanced strength and speed!

-----------------------------

It has been over five days since Felix and his companions set out for the royal capital. During this time, they've been leisurely traveling along the expansive road leading there.

Not in any rush to reach their destination, they've taken every opportunity to soak in the breathtaking scenery around them.

Often stopping for picnics along the way, they've embraced this journey as an adventure worth savoring.

With their incredible strength, Felix and his companions could have reached the Royal Capital in just a couple of days without breaking a sweat.

But instead, they chose to savor the journey, soaking in the breathtaking scenery along the way.

Plus, they weren't alone, every maid and servant from their mansion decided to join them on this adventure!

When Felix announced their plans to head to the Royal Capital, he presented two options to his staff: they could either stay in Brigdemoor City with enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives or accompany him to the capital, bringing their families along and working for the Morningstar Family.

To his delight, everyone opted for the latter.

Wilbert was the first to step forward, bringing his wife and son along. Soon after, all the maids and other servants followed suit.

Nixie is particularly thrilled by these encounters. Whenever danger approaches, she leaps into action, leading the charge against any bandits they face and claiming their riches as her own.

However, as their journey progresses, something unexpected happens: the number of bandits dwindles to almost nothing!

This sudden lack of action has left Nixie feeling rather downcast.

Felix found himself in a state of unexpected tranquility, pondering the absence of bandit encounters during their journey.

While he initially questioned this anomaly, he quickly dismissed it, choosing instead to savor the peace that enveloped them.

The serenity of their travels brought him a profound sense of happiness and relaxation, feelings he had not experienced since arriving in this unfamiliar world.

Since his arrival, Felix had lived with a constant sense of vigilance, acutely aware that any misstep could endanger both himself and those around him.

Even after becoming a Mana Cultivator and acquiring some means of self-defense, the fear of inadvertently offending someone beyond his capacity to confront lingered.

In this extraordinary realm, the adage "don't judge a book by its cover" resonated deeply; appearances often belied underlying complexities.

Yet, as they departed Bridgemoor City and traversed lush forests, majestic mountains, and picturesque rivers, Felix felt an inexplicable release from tension.

The fresh air invigorated him, allowing his tightly wound nerves to unwind.

This newfound contentment was blissful, a fleeting dream he yearned to prolong indefinitely.

However, reality loomed ominously; even if he aspired to lead an untroubled life devoid of conflict, trouble would inevitably seek him out.

The unsettling notion that his fate rested in the hands of others weighed heavily upon him, an uncomfortable reminder that danger could strike at any moment without warning.

Felix harbored simple desires: to grow strong enough to protect himself and those he cared for.

He did not seek conflict but understood that when trouble came knocking at his door, he would be prepared to teach it how to behave.

As the days turned into weeks on their journey, one month had passed, Felix and his companions indulged in a lifestyle characterized by leisure and enjoyment.

Whenever fatigue set in during their carriage rides, they paused for picnics or gathered around campfires where Felix entertained everyone with chilling horror stories that sent shivers down spines and elicited screams from servants and children alike.

They splashed joyfully in rivers they encountered along the way while engaging in countless other delightful activities.

For the first time across two lifetimes, Felix truly relished life's joys. Despite having once enjoyed wealth and power on Earth, nothing compared to this leisurely existence filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Life itself is a magnificent gift; being alive allows one to breathe in fragrant air, walk freely among friends and family, pursue passions wholeheartedly, and strive toward dreams, the essence of true happiness.

In reflecting upon these experiences, one might ask: What does it mean to truly live? How can we cultivate moments of joy amidst life's inevitable challenges?

As you ponder these questions yourself or share your thoughts with others, consider embracing each day as an opportunity for connection and growth, because every moment holds the potential for happiness if we choose to recognize it.
