FOUR DAYS LATER
------------------------------
Four days had flown by since Felix and his companions arrived at the Royal Capital.
During this time, they hadn't ventured beyond the deserted estate; instead, they made their temporary home in their carriages while the system worked tirelessly to rebuild what was once a dilapidated property.
Having grown accustomed to sleeping under the stars during their journey, Felix, Gwendolyn, Trinity, Nixie, Zephyr, Brixton, and Jarvis, each skilled cultivators, didn't require much rest.
So, they were perfectly fine with their makeshift arrangements. As they lounged around each day, they marveled at the transformation unfolding before them.
--------------------------
"Big bro, are we really going to live in this mansion from now on?" Zephyr asked blankly as he gazed up at the towering structure before him.
His expression mirrored that of Trinity and the others; shock painted their faces.
"Yeah! What do you think?" Felix replied with a warm smile.
"Like it? I absolutely love it!" Nixie exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "This isn't just a mansion; it's practically a palace!"
"Right? Even though we've seen it transform bit by bit over these past few days," Gwendolyn added with a nod, "it's still surreal to see the finished product."
"And wow, this place is massive! How are we supposed to fill such a huge estate? There are only a handful of us!" Brixton scratched his head in disbelief.
Felix listened to their chatter with a satisfied grin as he admired the mansion. His investment of 1 Million BEP had certainly paid off!
"System," he said playfully, "I have to hand it to you, you really know how to get things done!"
[ Of course! Who do you think I am? ] The system replied proudly.
With an amused shake of his head, Felix turned his gaze back toward the mansion. After four days of relentless rebuilding, what was once a crumbling estate had been transformed into something breathtaking.
The old walls were replaced by towering pristine white structures reaching nearly twenty meters high. Intricate silver and golden designs adorned every surface, a true feast for the eyes!
The rusty gate had given way to an impressive golden entrance flanked by two magnificent griffin statues with wings spread wide.
Atop this grand gate rested a large round white metal plate featuring an emblem: a nine-pointed star encircled by eighteen pairs of elegant white wings and pierced through by a long golden staff, this is the crest of the Morningstar Family.
Below it gleamed "Morningstar Family Estate" in bold golden letters that radiated grandeur and sophistication.
Extending from the majestic golden gate, a wide, beautifully paved road unfolds before you, crafted from stunning blue stone slabs that fit together seamlessly.
This grand avenue stretches beyond the estate's boundaries, connecting effortlessly to the surrounding streets.
Flanking this picturesque pathway are towering ornamental trees and exquisite statues, alongside bubbling fountains and vibrant flower beds.
Once overrun with weeds, these areas have been transformed into lush green lawns adorned with artful fountains and sculptures. Just outside the estate lies a breathtaking landscape.
From a bird's-eye view, the estate is nothing short of magnificent, a sprawling complex dotted with numerous mansions.
As they explored the vast estate, awe washed over them.
Even Felix was taken aback by its size; he realized that carriages might soon become necessary just to navigate this sprawling property without tiring themselves out.
--------------
Standing before his loyal servants, Felix cleared his throat and announced, "Everyone, we've traveled nearly two months to reach the Royal Capital! A new chapter in our lives begins today. I promise you all, since you've chosen to follow me here, I will treat you like family."
"Thank you, Master Felix!" The servants smiled warmly and bowed in gratitude and admiration.
Felix returned their smiles as he called out, "Silvia! Wilbert!"
"Yes, Master Felix?" Silvia stepped forward eagerly.
"Silvia," he said with confidence, "you remain head maid of the Morningstar Family. All maids will be under your care. In a few days, we'll hire more staff, so I trust you to manage the estate."
"Understood, Master Felix," she replied with a respectful bow.
Turning his attention to Wilbert next, Felix said, "You'll be the Head Butler from now on. You're responsible for overseeing the male servants and working closely with Silvia to keep everything running smoothly."
Wilbert's excitement bubbled over; he'd gone from being a carriage coachman to Head Butler, a massive leap!
"Now," Felix continued with enthusiasm, "the inner area of the estate is where you and your families will live from now on. Lead everyone there and choose suitable homes for yourselves; then come back for further instructions." He waved his hand dismissively.
"Yes, Master Felix!" Both Wilbert and Silvia bowed deeply before guiding everyone toward their new living quarters.
With that settled, Felix turned to Trinity, Zephyr, Brixton Gwendolyn, Nixie, and Jarvis: "Alright everyone! Let's head over to the core area."
Jarvis chimed in playfully as they walked: "Since I've taken on this butler role, got any other tasks lined up for me?"
Felix turned to Jarvis with a grin. "Oh, I've got an important job for you, Jarvis!"
"Alright, let's go!" Felix replied enthusiastically, waving his hand as if summoning adventure itself.
In just a few minutes, they sped through the estate and arrived at its core area, a stunning realm all its own. Imagine an estate within an estate!
At the heart of it stood a grand mansion surrounded by a shimmering lake.
Beside the lake was a magnificent white pavilion, intricately adorned with beautiful designs. Lush gardens sprawled around them, filled with spirited little animals frolicking about.
It was like their previous home in Brigdemoor City but magnified, everything here felt ten times bigger and more breathtaking!
The air buzzed with energy; the Mana concentration was so dense that it seemed to shimmer all around them.
As they made their way into the pavilion, Felix turned to Jarvis. "Keep an eye on the kids; we won't be long," he instructed.
Jarvis nodded in agreement, ready to take on his task.
With that reassurance, Felix motioned for Trinity, Gwendolyn, Brixton, Zephyr, and Nixie to follow him. Enjoy exclusive chapters from mvl
