The next day, Juliet sat in the conference room with Michael, Bridget, and Antoinette. Unlike their usual meetings filled with strategic plans and business discussions, today's agenda was much lighter and more exciting. They were here to finalize the details of their upcoming trip to Boracay.
Juliet spread out several brochures on the table, each one showcasing different resorts and activities on the island.
"I've done some research and found a few options for our stay," she said, her enthusiasm evident. "I've narrowed it down to these top resorts that offer a good mix of relaxation and adventure."
Michael leaned forward, glancing over the brochures. "This looks okay, Juliet. What do you recommend?"
Juliet smiled, glad for the chance to plan something fun for the team. "I think the Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa would be perfect. It's luxurious, private, and has everything we need—from beautiful beachfront villas to great dining options and a variety of water sports."
Bridget nodded in agreement. "I've heard great things about Shangri-La. It's a bit on the pricier side, but we deserve it after all the hard work we've put in."
Antoinette, who had been quietly looking through the brochures, finally spoke up. "So you guys called me here, thinking that it was a business meeting, but it's actually to plan a vacation? I should have brought my swimsuit to the conference room!" She laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
Michael grinned. "Well, we figured it was time for a pleasant surprise. We've been working non-stop, and it's about time we treat ourselves to something special."
Antoinette's smile broadened. "I'm in. Shangri-La sounds amazing. I can't wait to relax on the beach and forget about work for a few days."
Juliet continued, "Great! I'll handle the reservations. We'll stay in beachfront villas so we can enjoy the ocean view right from our rooms. I've also planned some activities like snorkeling, a private boat tour, and a sunset dinner on the beach."
"Is it okay if I invite my daughter?" Antoneitte asked.
"Catherine? There's no problem for us if you'd like her to join us," Michael said with a warm smile. "We'd love to have her along."
Antoinette's face lit up. "Thank you! She'll be thrilled. Catherine has been wanting a beach getaway for a while."
Juliet made a note. "Great, I'll make sure to book an extra villa for Catherine. She'll have a fantastic time with us."
"It's going to be a week-long vacation filled with fun and relaxation," Juliet said, smiling.
"That sounds perfect," Antoinette said, looking at Catherine, who was beaming with excitement.
The afternoon was spent lounging on the beach, the soft white sand between their toes and the soothing sound of waves in the background. They took turns dipping their legs in the clear blue water and relaxing under the shade of umbrellas.
In the evening, the group gathered for a sunset dinner on the beach. The sky was a brilliant canvas of orange, pink, and purple as the sun dipped below the horizon. The ambiance was magical, with tiki torches casting a warm glow and the gentle sound of the waves adding to the atmosphere.
What's good in Boracay at night as it was more alive, with nightclubs and beach bars lining the shore. After dinner, the group decided to explore the vibrant nightlife Boracay had to offer.
"Why don't we check out some of the beach bars?" Bridget suggested. "I've heard they're a lot of fun."
Michael nodded. "Sounds like a great idea. Let's see what Boracay's nightlife is all about."
They walked along the beach, drawn by the sounds of live music and laughter. They found a lively beach bar called "Epic," where a DJ was playing upbeat tunes, and the dance floor was packed with people having a great time.
"Bridget..! Come here."
"Why are you only inviting me?"
"Because I want us to be more intimate," Michael replied, and glanced at Juliet and Antoneitte who instantly read his message.
