The cat finally came up with an answer. He mustered his courage and confessed.

“To be honest, I don’t know who I should save, which world I should intervene in, or how I can save them, munya. But I know one thing. You, sir, will become a victim in a future conflict, and I’m here to change it. I’m here to save your life, munya!”

The fairies gasped and murmured while Shepherd and Lucky gave Xiaomao a meaningful look. On the other hand, Cernun burst into laughter.

“So, are you saying that I will meet my demise, and you come back to the past to save me?”

“Exactly, munya!”

“BAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
