In the middle of the room, a burly merman with a trident lazed around, laying on his back and nibbling spirit fruits in his hand. In front of the big dude, a thousand nagas were resting as well.

The Nagas were half human, half snake. Their upper torso looked similar to humans, but they had fish gills instead of ears. Their webbed fingers were the same as other mermen and mermaids, but their finger length was more defined and longer. Different from the mermaids and mermen, these people didn’t wear any cloth or attempt to cover their private parts.

Xiaomao’s eyes fixated on a female Naga’s chest. He was surprised when he noticed that they had gills under their breasts, but the men didn’t have any.

When a naga noticed Undine, they shouted to warn their colleagues.

Xiaomao tilted his head in amusement. Those mermen with fish heads always talked in the BOB language, and these people had their own language as well.

The Naga’s captain got up and ordered his people to salute. The others got up and greeted Undine.

Hearing their language, Xiaomao had the urge to sing “BATMAN” for the meme, but he kept it to himself.

“Leave us,” Undine commanded these people.

Meanwhile, Xiaomao checked their strength. Their average level was in the 1900s, but the big guy’s level was 2,000, which was not shabby for a boss in a secret dungeon.

The big merman and the Nagas bowed and opened the gates. They disappeared into the dark room and closed the door.

Seeing that everybody was gone, Undine sighed.

“Okay. We can access the Naga and the Sanctuary’s Dungeon Core now.”

Xiaomao was bemused, “If I remember correctly, doesn’t the sanctuary’s dungeon core in the shrine, munya?”

“That one? That’s a dummy core to trick invaders. The real one is over there.”

Undine pointed at the ceiling, where the light orbs were.

Xiaomao looked up and found at least a thousand bulbs, embedded into the stone cave’s ceiling. All pieces looked the same.

Seeing how Undine and the Nagas hid their dungeon core, Xiaomao was enlightened.
