Chapter 311 – Cat Dad's Pocket Dantian is Restricted?

"Is there really no other way?"

"Your fate has been delayed for too long, munya. You can't just take the same punishment from years ago. The interests have been piling up, and you have to pay for that, too, munya. Of course, this doesn't include the new negative karma after the first war, munya."

On the moon, Mu-Nyang and Pan Xian sat at a round table. Mir and Nian hovered behind their masters, ready to attack if a mishap occurred.

Mir brought the two for a talk as promised, but the negotiation didn't go well.

"As I said before, your soul must be extinguished, and you can't even reincarnate again. It will be the true death, munya."

"Can't I reincarnate as a mortal?

"You can, but your Mazinger Race will perish in your stead, munya."

"Let me change the question. How long do we have to live as a mortal if I want to keep the Mazinger Race?"

"At least 500 quadrillion years. You will repeatedly die and reincarnate on the same planet as random creatures until that world produces enough souls as compensation for the souls that you and your Mazinger Race have destroyed, munya."

"What about my memory?"

"Obviously, it has to be erased, munya. All karma in the past will be severed, and you can't gain it back."

Pan Xian leaned on his chair and sighed. The conditions were harsher than at that time.

"Is that really necessary? Can't you just change my karma?"

"Impossible, munya. If we don't do it, we will have to repeatedly reset the timeline as we did in the past. You know that Devil-Kishin feud incidents happened because of you, right? Do you want to repeat that and watch some wet-behind-the-ear mortals emerge as new gods and slaughter your race, munya?"

Pan Xian bitterly smiled and thought of the exodus and the endless feud between two gods, namely Devil and Kishin Douji. Both gods forced the sages to reset the timeline and wipe out all mortals and immortals, then reincarnated them to repeat the same events until the universe was stabilized. But ultimately, Mao Miaomiao emerged and replaced Devil. He and his allies defeated countless gods and put an end to the sage era.

In the end, they ended up purging the universe during the Great Reset Incident and rebuilt everything from scratch.

And now, many dead gods and immortals had been reincarnated in the game worlds. Even Solomon and Odin emerged to join the chaos.

Soon, chaos would resume and engulf the entire universe. The reason behind it was none other than him – Pangu.

Pan Xian closed his eyes and made a tough decision.

He changed his mind.

It was not fair for him to be punished alone. He was not even the true culprit of the rebellion, but he was the only one being punished.

"No. This is not fair. I can't accept that condition!"

Mu-Nyang sighed, "You're still the same as ever, munya. This talk is over."

"If I ask you to give up my godhood and memory for the sake of the universe's stability because someone else screwed up, will you do it?!"

"Of course not! I would have fought to the end of the universe, munya!"

"That's my point exactly! I cannot give up my power and memory! Several billion Mazinger souls are relying on me! I can't abandon them!"

"Haiz. What a waste of time. Okay. Then, I'll see you on a battlefield, munya. I won't send you off."

"…"

Pan Xian stood up and vanished from the moon. He and Nian teleported back to their hotel.

After the two nemeses were gone, Mir pouted and hopped on the table.

"You should have killed them right there, mew!"

Mu-Nyang laughed, "That would have been a waste, munya!"

"Then, why are you keeping him alive, mew?"

"What else? For them, of course, munya!"

Mu-Nyang projected two screens, which showed two individuals on the monitors.

On the left, an angel with a black and white wing was in the middle of slaughtering players and NPCs in a city. He was tyrannical, ruthless, and merciless. Even children, dogs, cats, and chickens were not spared.

On the right, the young man danced with his Dao Avatar. He looked as dumb as his angel father, but he was untainted by the universe's karma as he already cleansed it after his death in the other lives.

"On the left, we have a father who betrayed his creator and slaughtered countless people for the sake of his family. On the right, we have a naïve son who has no idea what this universe is… Which one of them will transcend from my universe first, munya?"

Mir narrowed her eyes, "So, you're keeping Pangu as a stepping stone for them, mew?"

"It might be too early for them to challenge Pangu, but they will eventually get there. For now, let's watch over them from far away, munya."

Mu-Nyang gazed at Xiaomao. His eyes were moist as he thought of the old days when they were still together.

'If possible, inherit everything that belongs to your family, Xiaomao. Defeat Pangu. Overthrow Solomon. Subdue the Asgardians. Surpass your father, and reach me! Be the sole winner of this battle royal so that we won't have to part way like the past again...'

.

.

'… Master.'

"I see that you're getting stronger again, bro."

Jungwoo stared at Xiaomao's Dao Avatar. It just hovered around its master, refusing to go away. Xiaomao also didn't know what to do with it, so he just let it roam around him like a Jojo Stand.

"I still have no idea what to do with it, though, munya."

"Say, have you fought with my clone yet?"

"Sorry, no, munya."

Jungwoo bitterly laughed. Since Xiaomao hadn't touched his clone yet, Jungwoo kept the secret to himself. It was embarrassing to say that Xiaomao's clone overpowered him, so Jungwoo wanted Xiaomao to experience what he had gone through as well.

"Now that you remind me, let me test it, munya. Give me a few minutes."

Xiaomao closed his eyes and meditated. He returned to his pocket dantian to check on Jungwoo's clone.

After Xiaomao closed his eyes, he let go of the empty vial. It rolled on the floor and caught the attention of Jungwoo.

'What's that?'

Jungwoo picked it up and sniffed it. It reeked of blood.

.

Xiaomao hummed as he operated the clone menu. He searched Seo Jungwoo's name, wondering how strong his new friend was.

BZZ

However, the menu showed nothing. There was no clone with Seo Jungwoo's name.

Xiaomao shrugged and tried Jungwoo's in-game name instead. He searched for Ran Tae.

BZZ

Again, he couldn't find the clone.

"Huh?"

Confused, Xiaomao looked for somebody else, testing if this system allowed him to summon clones of real people in the world. He picked Liu Bei, whom Xiaomao always wanted to punch in the face.

DING

The portrait showed up. However, instead of showing "Liu Bei" that Xiaomao knew, the menu showed another "Liu Bei". The clone was a middle-aged man with long ears and a goatee, and his cultivation base started as a 6th-stage cultivator, and it could go up to the constellation immortal.

'Is this the REAL Liu Bei? What the hell?'

Xiaomao changed the name to somebody else. He chose Miao Damao, his biological father.

BZZ

The name was incorrect. There was no feedback from the system, and there was no clone with this name.

"What the hell?" Xiaomao clicked his tongue, "So this system can't summon an Earthling's clone? Is that the case?"

He assumed that the clone menu couldn't summon people from Earth. He shook his head in disappointment.

Since he couldn't pick someone from Earth, Xiaomao tried something new. He searched for Shepherd's clone.

BZZ

The menu couldn't find Shepherd as well. Now, Xiaomao was confused.

"What are the restrictions of this system? Can I only summon people of the past?"

Xiaomao searched for Wei Zhi next.

BZZ

Again, it failed. Xiaomao changed the name and looked for Wei Huang, who was Wei Zhi's father.

DING

It succeeded. However, it showed the Oni, who had the same name as Wei Zhi's father.

The clone was the grandfather of Wei Yuan, Wei Feng, and Wei Xiong. He was technically Xiaomao's great-grandfather.

"Eh, whatever."

Since Xiaomao wanted to try fighting with a stronger clone, he chose Wei Huang as his next target. He totally forgot the promise to Jungwoo.
