After resting enough, Xiaomao got up and brought out the mysterious seed that he had gotten from Hopea. He inspected it up close.

When Xiaomao got back, he extracted a drop of his blood from his inventory and dropped it on the seed.

As soon as the blood hit the nut-like seed, it produced a bell chime and echoed throughout Xiaomao's dantian universe. Lilith, catterflies, Undine, and everybody froze on the spot as they suddenly lost their ability to move.

The time was stopped in the dantian universe!

Lilith widened her eyes in shock. She and Devil had been friends for longer than anyone, so she learned a thing or two from her. The power of time and space was one of them.

However, at this moment, Lilith couldn't use the space and time power to resist Xiaomao's abilities. Even if she could borrow some of Xiaomao's power, she couldn't free herself from the time domain.

Meanwhile, Xiaomao stared at the seed in a daze. He suddenly had a dream while he was awake.

In Xiaomao's dream, he saw an elderly cultivator in a lush forest. He wore white Daoist robes, but he also carried a fishing rod. He always sat in front of his cabin, sitting on a stump and meditating alone.

One day, at night, two colossus monsters descended from space. They were a pair of white Cathulhus, whose fur was soaked in their blood. When they landed in front of the elder, their appearance shrank as they transformed into two cats with wings.

The elder opened his eyes and gazed at the cats. The two creatures looked at the senior and begged.

"Great Entity, I beg you. Please save us, munya!"

The elder glanced at the belly of one of the cats. His expression was complicated.

"Is your wife pregnant?"

"Y-Yes, munya."

"Why the hell did you provoke the Rott Family when your wife is pregnant? Are you out of your mind?"

"I never provoked them, senior! They demanded us to give them my wife and her baby! That bastard Rott is planning to use a newborn Cathulhu as a sacrifice to upgrade the werewolf race in his dantian universe!"

"They what?!"

The elder's expression turned dark. His eyes flashed in red light as he looked at the sky, reading karma. Then, he performed a hand incantation, activating an ability.

A few seconds later, the dark void turned white. Then, the world trembled as the shockwave from the unknown explosion hit their planet.

When the dust settled, the void was grey, and many trees fell. Many stars in the sky vanished.

However, everybody could hear an archaic voice from space.

"Lord Xiao. We have no quarrel with you. Why did you destroy my galaxies, WOOF?!"

The elder, aka Lord Xiao, snorted and bellowed, "Lord Gou! Why don't you ask your son what he did to my disciples?!"

"This is the matter between the juniors. We, the undying entities, shouldn't get involved in their little quarrels, WOOF."

"Little quarrels? So, is demanding someone's wife and kids to die a little quarrel?!"

"Living or dying, it's a matter of natural selection, WOOF! We must not interfere with their trials or they will never ascend as an entity."

"I see. So, what if one of my disciples suddenly demands one of your descendants to die so that they can become an entity, will you interfere?"

"… Don't you dare!"

The elder snorted and formed another hand seal. The next moment, a massive werewolf, larger than a galaxy, shoved countless stars aside and charged toward the elder's planet.

Several supernovas occurred in space. The planet of the elder ceaselessly shook, but a blue dome absorbed some of the shockwave impacts.

The cats looked at the sky in a daze. However, they suddenly coughed blood.

The elder widened his eyes in shock. He reached out to grab the karma strands of the two cats, but they faded right in front of his eyes. Their bodies slowly dissipated to dust.

"BASTARD MUTT! EVEN AFTER YOUR DEATH, YOU STILL WANT TO KILL EVERY CATHULHU IN THIS UNIVERSE!?"

The elder clapped his hands and pulled the fading souls of the two cathulhus into his dantian universe. However, he failed to bring an unborn kitten along with them as it was still alive.

After the mother cat's body turned into dust, the embryo of the unborn cathulhu remained. Although the womb was gone, it still persisted in living, moving around, and struggling to draw in essence in the air to its developing stomach.

The elder pointed at the embryo and covered it with the mildest water Qi. He drew the kitten to his lap and looked at it in pity.

"You're not even born yet, but your parents left you alone in this universe. Your soul hasn't even taken shape either, so I can't bring you inside my dantian to protect you."

The kitten's closed eyes moved a little. The elder smiled and put the embryo in his palms.

"Fine. Since your parents are my disciple and they died because of my incompetence, I'll be your parent in their stead. Since you're now my son, I shall give you a name."

The elder paused to think. He giggled.

"Your father's name is Mu Damao and your mother's name is Nyang Katerina. You shall honor their legacies and inherit their names. From now on, you will be called [Mu-Nyang]!"

The dream faded, and Xiaomao came back to his senses. The time in the dantian universe resumed, and everybody could move again.

Xiaomao fell on his butt and panted. The dream looked so real that he thought he was Elder Xiao for a moment. Also, he couldn't forget the hand incantation and hand seal that Elder Xiao performed.

Out of instinct, Xiaomao mimicked the hand incantation when Lord Xiao destroyed a galaxy. He flawlessly completed the incantation as if he had done it a million times.

Unfortunately, aside from the black smoke that came out from his fingertips, nothing happened when Xiaomao finished it.

'What is that dream?'

Confused, Xiaomao pondered and gazed at the seed in the hole. He frowned at it.

While Xiaomao was lost in thought, Lilith approached Xiaomao, "What happened, Xiaomao?"

"I don't know either, munya."

Xiaomao sighed as he didn't want to talk about the dream. He covered the seed with the soil and watered it with his blood.

Afterward, the seed no longer caused an accident. It stayed there, absorbing every last drop of Xiaomao's blood.
