Chapter 61 - 61. Boring...

Morning of the same day.....

After having their breakfast, both of them spent the half of the morning receiving gifts from family members where, the next item was costlier than the previous....they didn't have the heart of the people who presented them, just their money.

Meilin preferred things that people put their hearts into, as presents and being a child she didn't like the gifts these people sent to her in hopes of getting favoured by Qin Mo. Her gifts included Chinese paintings, jades, vases, and other such things, which could easily cost nearly equal the cost of the down payment of an apartment in any of the high-end districts. Anyone who sees them will think they were for an old generation man with deep interests in antiques like Qin Mo, rather than for a kid.

Meilin, as always, asked them to be stored in the storeroom as the both of them went on to study their books for the latter half of the day or so was the plan.

That day, in the afternoon....

Both being kids who were left alone during their holidays and wanted to do something special on this special day, wanted to know what a theme park was like (courtesy: Feng Jiajie) and decided to inspect it.

Well, they had free VIP passes too as gifts from 'Uncle Feng'.

They had time and it will be a waste of Uncle Feng's efforts if they ignore it, right?

So, even though they knew he was being sarcastic to the duo, still they turned a blind's eye to it and decided to enlighten themselves about something new through observation.

So,... they went to the amusement park she got the passes for.

As stupid as it may sound, the inherently smart but curious-to-bone duo, donned in Sherlock Holmes' detective cloaks with cap hats of the same print, went out to play-ahem! observe, in what seemed like the Eden of children their age, with a dozen or so bodyguards following them in casual clothes.

Well, they didn't want to see the said people's rigid faces with blank but serious expressions under black shades who further are in black, while inside a place meant for fun ma!

So, anyway!

When they got near the park premises or it's entrance which was a made from a Disney-castle inspiration, the pair made many eyes turn, to get a second and third and a fourth look.

Both had strong genes and though Xuan was a bit on the skinny side when he came to the mansion, after being nourished and fed by Meilin for the last half of the year, he shot up and looked a lot more handsome now, both of them really were like chibi characters of a beautiful couple straight from a shoujo manga with their similar big eyes and babyfaces.

Both donned cutely in matching clothes had the same temperament, with a small amount of baby fat in their beautiful faces and body, looked otherworldly.

They gave you the impulse where you would just want to kidnap these rabbits and cuddle them for your whole life.

They had a twinkling in their doe-like eyes when looking at something new, well, everything here was kind of noble and hence piqued their curiosity, and with their hands linked to the other, seemed like peas out of a pod.

It was genuine maimeng!!

But, as sad as it could get, after less than half of the tour around the attractions was over, they thought it was too childish for them and their initial twinkling eyes were back to the emotionless ones because of pure boredom.

Still, they tried every attraction which allowed children, though with a little expectation, but still, came out with bland faces with their lips thinned into a line, it showed their great dissatisfaction.

They stayed far out of the Haunted House, well aware that Xuan didn't do well with closed-dark spaces.

There were not into self-torture.

Their faces were already void of any emotions, but still, they had a little hope for the last ride.

To be frank, many rides didn't allow children their age, who were here without parents or guardians. It made the duo think that this place was a young-couple friendly park....and was not exactly for children without parents by their side, it wasn't for children like them.

Though the bodyguards followed them, they couldn't just go and play with them, right?

It didn't come under their job's requirement, they can't relax during their period of work and the duo wouldn't ask them to attend to their selfish requests....both were well aware of Meilin's place in the society and most importantly, if this place didn't allow them to do something together and rather expected to do the same with their so-called parents, they both in the same wavelength will reply a, "No, Thank You!"

If it was so, then in the future, they will build their own heaven, their parents didn't have any right to decide anything for them, they weren't qualified.

Well, in the future, the duo did build an amusement park meant for children like them, it may seem a bit absurd but they had the money to do it and though they weren't heavy spenders, it didn't take out their personal titles of self-made billionaires, right?

That place provided free entry to orphans and children who are out there, all alone...lonely without the shoulders of a parent....but that will happen a little bit later in the future.

Anyway, the reason being such, they could only ride the most childish-of-rides which of course didn't pique the interest of this young adult pair.

Well, there was one ride they went on to, after kicking their pride and ego.

It was the largest and most beautiful merry-go-round, the central attraction of sorts, in the park and of their city back then.

It was very very childish with the usual unicorn theme, but a particular unicorn in between all of them was reserved for the VIP customers and for netizens to take pictures with or of.

That particular unicorn also had a small out-of-cinderella carriage and a large unicorn pulling it, at least, it gave it that effect.

The ride was the most famous attraction because of its aesthetics.

The ride was well lit in a golden halo, the unicorns looked lifelike and had soft mechanic movements to give it a surreal effect, they blinked their eyes sometimes too! The area under was filled with artificial clouds and smoke giving it a heavenly vibe, it was kind of in an isolated place which made you think you went to parallel space or jumped over to a heavenly setting somewhere.

It was the best ride for a girl any age, it would make them feel like a cloud-princess, while when a man sits on a unicorn, it gave the prince-in-a-white-horse scenario...girls of all age, loved it!!
