Then let me warm you up
The next day.
Jiang Yaner slowly got up from the bed with huge dark circles under her eyes. She only managed to sleep at around 6 in the morning.
When she arrived at the villa last night, it was already dark and she could only vaguely see the outline. Early in the morning, Jiang Yaner was wandering around the villa, enjoying the unique flavor of the old villa.
"Madam," a hoarse voice suddenly came from behind her. "Breakfast is ready, Young Master is waiting."
Jiang Yaner turned his head back abruptly, she was extremely frightened, but when the person appeared, he did not make a sound, like a gust of wind, she suddenly appeared behind her back.
"Alright." She still had some lingering fear in her heart, so she only replied softly. She originally thought that this villa was empty. She didn't expect an old housekeeper to appear here.
She followed the man downstairs. The villa was not big, and from upstairs she could see Jin Chen eating breakfast alone in the dining hall.
He always wore a clean set of white clothes, his hair a mess, his face expressionless, his every move gentle and graceful.
Seeing Jiang Yaner going downstairs, he gently raised his head to take a glance, then lowered his head and continued to dig through the delicious food on her plate.
"Hurry up and eat. There are still places we need to go." He held up a piece of beef and said to Jiang Yaner quietly.
"Uncle Qin, you should also sit down and eat." He raised his head, and his gaze was different from usual. The Uncle Qin in front of him was clearly different from normal.
"Young Master, I've eaten. Please enjoy." The Uncle Qin smiled benevolently and dragged his lame legs, leaving the villa step by step.
Jiang Yaner was a little surprised, she did not say it out loud, but continued to eat quietly.
Not long after, the two of them finished their silent breakfast. Jin Chen didn't say anything as he directly walked out of the villa and got into the sports car.
Jiang Yaner was still holding onto the piece of bread that she had not finished and was chasing after him.
"Hurry." Jin Chen was getting impatient, seeing that she had boarded the car, he hurriedly drove his through the grass and arrived at the metal door.
"Uncle Qin, let's go out and return tonight." He slowly stopped the car and spoke to the old man who was cleaning the grass by his side.
Uncle Qin could only smile and nod as he watched the two of them disappear outside the iron gate.
"Who is the Uncle Qin?" She still did not manage to control his curiosity, especially his attitude towards, which was too intimate.
"Family, as the daughter-in-law of Jinjia, you have to be filial to him." Jin Chen tilted his head and smiled deviously, as if reminding her that he was his wife was a very satisfying thing to do.
Jiang Yaner rolled her eyes and did not continue the line of questioning.
As the car became more and more turbulent, it became more and more difficult to drive on the somewhat rugged road.
"Let's get out of the car. We can't get to the front." Jin Chen stopped the car, undid his seat belt, and got out of the car without looking back at Jiang Yaner.
After a while, he impatiently waited beside the car. He wondered why it took so long to get off, so he opened the door to investigate.
However, that woman had long since gone to sleep happily.
He shook his head but was not annoyed. There was even a pampering smile at the corner of his mouth.
Jiang Yaner suddenly opened her eyes, directly facing the corner of his eye, looking at him in a daze.
"Get out of the car quickly!" Jin Chen was a little worried, afraid that she would see his expression, so he immediately used this method to hide it.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes, got out of the car, stretched her back, and looked around. There were tall trees everywhere, and the stone road was beneath her feet. The road in front of her became a narrow mountain path.
"Where is this?" Of course, Jin Chen would not give her a reply.
He walked quietly in front, his shoes replaced by white shoes, his suit shirt replaced by a casual T-shirt and jeans, and his fresh hair made him look as clean and beautiful as a spring breeze.
Jiang Yaner followed her from behind. She rarely walked this kind of rugged mountain road, every step she took was careful, and she became a little timid. On the other hand, Jin Chen seemed to be used to it.
Not long after, he stopped.
In front of Jiang Yaner was a cemetery.
She looked at Jin Chen's cold face and realized that the atmosphere was different. She could only quietly stand behind him.
"Come forward and greet him," He turned around and looked at Jiang Yaner. "This is your father-in-law." The corner of his mouth curled up into a smile, but that smile disappeared in an instant.
Jiang Yaner had guessed correctly, today was indeed an unusual day.
In her memories, she and Jin Chen had already been married for more than two years, and no one in the Jinjia had mentioned anything about their beautiful father. Jiang Yaner heard some people discussing by chance, some said that he was in the United States and had married other women, and some said that he was in the city, but disliked Chen Jing being too domineering, and decided to move out.
However, no one had ever said that Father Jin might have already left this world.
"I've always thought it was strange, why didn't you ask me about my father?" Jin Chen walked closer to the grave, while cleaning the surrounding weeds. He seemed to have thought of something, and suddenly let out a cold laugh.
"I just think it's better not to ask too much." Jiang Yaner did not know how to reply, afraid that she would be stabbed in the heart.
"Of course, between us, it is only a contract. You do not need to understand me too much." Jin Chen had his back facing her and the depths of his eyes were filled with unspeakable disappointment.
"You never, never gave me a chance to understand." Jiang Yaner thought of many past events. Most of them were scenes where she tried to get close to him but always closed the door.
Jin Chen retracted his smile. What she said was right, he had never given his the chance, and no one else was allowed to enter his world. As for Jiang Yaner, although he desired for his to understand him, he was even more afraid.
"There will always be a day when the contract breaks down, and in your world, there will always be people who will go and get warm," Jin Chen said sarcastically, while he merely smiled bitterly.
"You really don't have to say these things over and over again. I know it very well," she said, squinting in the wind, the tears in her eyes barely falling.
"It's good to have a clear understanding of myself, but I'm not having a good time." Jin Chen stood up and threw away the grass in his hands. His clean hands were stained with mud.
"So, I can't let you have it easy either."
