An Bowen hugged her shoulders as she sat there. She narrowed her eyes and gave a faint smile as she looked at this extremely enchanting and seductive little woman. Her entire body was exuding the same kind of beautiful feeling that would make one's mind and body feel comfortable. Her every move and gesture would give people a different feeling.

"You don't like shopping? Shopping? Girls should be like that. " An Bowen spoke indifferently.

"Isn't that a little too tacky? Take you, buy a bunch of jewelry, name brand clothes... I like more interesting passages, such as you accompanying me to my friend's party or bringing me to your friend to meet him. That way we'll have a good time together. " Huo Lianqing spoke her thoughts without concealing it at all. She even looked at An Bowen generously.

"You are different from others. You are very special." The smile on his face deepened, but it carried a different meaning.

"Can I ask how long I can stay with you? One month, two months, if you think I'm special, maybe longer. " Huo Lianqing said with an expressionless face. She had almost used up all of her patience. There had never been a man who could resist her temptation. She didn't know what on earth she was going to do. Perhaps he had some sort of motive, similar to his own, which was why he was so careful with every move he made.

"How long do you want to stay? You shouldn't ask such a question. " As he was speaking, he stood up and leaned towards Huo Lianqing with one hand on the table. He whispered into her ear, his breath falling on her ear like feathers brushing.

"I'm going to the company. I still have some time in the afternoon." Huo Lianqing sat there and watched as An Bowen's figure disappeared into the distance. A hint of a cold smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

Huo Lianqing went upstairs to change clothes before sitting in the hall downstairs to drink tea. She looked around. There wasn't even someone who talked to her. Huo Lianqing was leaning back on the sofa as she tuned in the TV channel. Behind her, there seemed to be a pair of eyes looking at her.

"Are you all right? Sit with me for a while and talk. " Huo Lianqing said while patting the seat beside her. Aunt Wang's daughter didn't seem to want to talk to Huo Lianqing. She glanced at her indifferently.

"I still need to read." He then turned around and walked into the house. It was unknown when Aunt Wang had appeared behind Huo Lianqing.

"Miss Huo, I'm sorry …" There was an apologetic look on her face as Huo Lianqing replied with a smile.

"It's fine. How old is she? What's her name?" Huo Lianqing seemed to be interested in this girl.

"Oh, she's my daughter, 17. Her name is Cui He."

"Cui He, what a cool name, Cui Cui gave birth to jade, the lotus leaves are cool and refreshing." Madam Wang had already turned around to do her own thing. Huo Lianqing turned off the television and went upstairs as well.

Her room faced the small garden below. It was midsummer, and the flowers and plants were lush and verdant. Huo Lianqing was lying on the windowsill. She picked up the phone in silence, wanting to call Gu Zhenhai, but she couldn't. Opening the mailbox, it was filled with messages that he had sent over. His words were filled with worry and unease.

Huo Lianqing's heart suddenly skipped a beat. She rested her hands on the windowsill and frowned slightly. There were tears rolling down her cheeks. Gu Zhenhai had always been silently treating her well, good to the point where even he felt that it was only natural. Good that she treated him like himself, to match her emotions, to celebrate with anger and sorrow.

All these years, Gu Zhenhai had always been by her side, caring about her more than himself. Huo Lianqing's slender fingers gently touched the screen of her phone. She typed out word by word, then deleted word by word. Finally, there was only one sentence left.

"Zhenhai, I'm doing very well." It was just a simple sentence, and they had a tacit understanding of each other. Huo Lianqing relayed the message and smiled wryly.

Ann Bowen's study

"Miss Huo, this is Mister's study room. Mister has said that you are not allowed to enter without his permission."

Huo Lianqing turned her head and looked at the servants behind her. A slight smile appeared on her face.

"Sorry, I'm just looking around." Huo Lianqing returned to her room, opened her closet, and chose a pink dress before sitting down on the dresser. Her long hair was tied back in a bun, and she had purple crystal earrings. Her face was covered with a faint makeup, and she picked up an exquisite small bag before going downstairs.

If this went on, she would definitely become sick from holding her breath. Huo Lianqing walked downstairs just as Aunt Wang was about to walk over.

"Miss Huo, are you going out?" There was an interesting surprise in her tone, and also a hint of unease.

"I'll go out for a while. Maybe I'll be back tonight, maybe later." Huo Lianqing walked to the shoe cabinet at the entrance and said as she put on the 10 cm high heels.

"You... Did you tell sir? " Aunt Wang said with difficulty.

"Why should I tell him that he is not at home? I'll be back, just for a walk. I'm leaving! " Huo Lianqing was getting impatient. She frowned as she looked at Aunt Wang. Is this a prison? He had to report to him when he went out?

An Bowen's villa was very far away from the city, so they had to walk for a long distance before they could get a taxi. Huo Lianqing looked at the empty road and stomped her feet.

Huo Lianqing let out a long sigh of relief as she got out of the taxi after walking for so long that her ankle was about to break. As the car drove into the city, it suddenly became bustling and lively. The passing cars and the unnoticed people made Huo Lianqing feel as if she was in a trance. He didn't know if he was still in this world, or if he was living like a zombie.

It was as if he was used to the dark night and was suddenly exposed to the sunlight. He was actually not used to it. Huo Lianqing went to the cafe she frequented. She ordered a cup of coffee and sat at a table near the window on the second floor. She drank her coffee as she watched the people passing by on the street.

Ambowen's office

"Director An, the client we're meeting in the afternoon cancelled our agreement and said that there's an urgent matter." Anbo's secretary stood in front of his desk and said.

"Take a look. Are there any social events on today?" An Bowen casually asked as he flipped through the documents in his hands.

"There's no social meeting tonight, Director An." said the secretary.

"Alright, you can go now." He waved at the secretary.

He put down the documents in his hands, picked up his cell phone and dialed his home number.

"What is Miss Huo doing?"

"Sir, Miss An …" "Miss An … she …" It was Aunt Wang who answered the phone, stammering and unable to speak.

"What happened to Miss An?" An Bowen asked a little impatiently.

"Miss An just went out. I didn't stop her." Aunt Wang could only answer truthfully.

"I'm out. Alright, I understand." After he hung up, he smiled.

Huo Lianqing made an appointment with a few friends. She first went shopping and bought a bunch of small bags of stuff. One by one, her reputation cards were swiping through the card machine. She seemed to feel that this would fill her empty mind, hide her strong desire to shop, and then go out for a drink.

It wasn't until late at night that he came out drunk. The sky was lit up by starlight and the streets were lit with neon lights. The entire night was filled with colorful lights and intoxicated. It had been a long time since he came out to play like this, as if he was venting. Huo Lianqing was walking on the street unsteadily, the things she bought were all on her arms and she felt that they were a bit unbalanced in weight.

After breaking up with her sisters, she didn't take a taxi back, but roamed the streets. This kind of colorful scene was more suitable for her. There was a snack bar on the side of the road, as well as a unique porridge restaurant and a halogen shop. Her eyes were a little intoxicated. She walked into a small shop in a daze, unable to see what every shop was selling.

It turned out to be a specialty snack bar. Huo Lianqing hadn't eaten anything all day, and after drinking, she felt that her stomach was empty. Right now, her internal organs were grumbling in protest.

"What is there to eat?" When Huo Lianqing spoke, her eyelids were trembling. When the shop owner saw her current appearance, he was slightly stunned. Such a beautiful woman was actually drunk all by herself in the middle of the night.
