"Wait..." Ye Xianxian uttered.

"Why would she go upstairs? The higher the floor the more privileged the person who stays there. Why would she go for the next floor?"

"Could she have made acquaintance with some important person at the party? Now she would have gone to meet him? I had seen her talking to many different businessmen during the fashion show. It could only be the reason. She could not possibly have owned at the room on the next floor. The next floor is reserved for only VIP guests." Ye Xianxan said.

"Are you joking? Why would she have a room on the next floor? One of the guys under management staff was Su Lanfen admirer. He was Su Lanfen's loyal fan and followed all her recent activities so he had already known about the scandal. He was so eager to please Su Lanfen that he risked his job to give Jing Lihua a room beside the staff members in exchange for an autograph. Besides now even if she complained they wouldn't give her another room... And definitely the one room on the top floor. All the rooms are already booked due to the fashion show. And the ones on the next floor are only for the important tycoons. There is no way she would have a room on that floor."

"What you say is logical. That means she is going there only to meet someone. Let us go and see... What do you say?"

Su Lanfen agreed and they followed her upstairs. When they were right there, they saw something that made them stunned to silence. Jing Lihua swiped the card and entered the most luxurious room of the Hotel very leisurely.

Jing Lihua didn't mind such things much. If anything, it was all trouble for her to go find the next room. "At least I'll get rid of that crazy man. There would be no way that he got a room here besides mine."

Jing Lihua's happiness was short-lived because later that day when she got out of her room for dinner, Li Zhiqiang was already standing outside her door. Jing Lihua's eyes twitched.

"What are you doing here?"

"My room is on this floor."

"I don't believe you"

Li Zhiqiang flashed his keycard with a smile. Jing Lihua thought that he was starting to smile more and more. The first time she had met him, he was very cold. Slowly he was changing around her. Jing Lihua didn't know whether it was a good thing or a bad thing.

"If this was your room why did you get another room besides mine?" Jing Lihua started to walk for the elevator. Li Zhiqiqang trailed behind her. Jing Lihua didn't mind him following her.

"Wherever you go, I go."

Jing Lihua rolled her eyes but there was an undetectable smile on her lips. They both entered the elevator that headed for the down floor. "You didn't state your purpose. Why were you standing outside my door?"

"I came here to ask you out for dinner." Li Zhiqiang said without any reluctance.

"And you think I'll agree?"

Li Zhiqiang fell silent. Jing Lihua knew what his silence meant. Jing Lihua fell into contemplation. There was no way she could have him stop chasing her with mere avoidance. She needed to actively do something in order to stop chasing him. She quickly thought of a plan and her lips turned up into a wicked smile. She got out of the elevator, turned back to look at Li Zhiqiang and said with a sweet smile. "Fine Mr. Li, I'll be waiting for you at 9 am." Her smile was magnetizing. She looked like an innocent angel. At the same time, her beauty could seduce any man into oblivion. Her green eyes could charm one's heart with their allure.

Li Zhiqiang froze for a moment. His eyes locked with her limpid eyes. Even though he didn't say anything, the happiness and shock was apparent in his dark pupils until the elevator door close and cut their eye connection broke and so the magic spell ended.

Jing Lihua walked for sometime before reaching Zhao Liying's room. Strangely, the door was half-open. She raised her hands to push open the door and enter but stopped midway when she heard voices from inside.

"What? You are being ridiculous here! Are you sure it is not one of your countless fantasies." Mo Liang's voice came out.

"I swear there was someone in her room that night. Why would it be my fantasy?"

"Because you so desperately want her to dump Su Liwei and find a better person for her."

"Look I don't like Su Liwei. That's a fact. I'll never like him after what you have told me that he plans to harm our Xiao Hua. Tell me. Would you not like her to dump him and get over? We both know he is one she loved since she knew what love was. So if she gets over this useless relationship isn't it a matter worth celebration? That aside, it is not my fantasy. I swear! There was a man in her room!"

"How are you so sure that it was a man?"

"Because later that day, I wanted to try a restaurant with her but I smelled something being cooked inside. I became curious because we both know that jing Lihua can't cook. She would never try to ook something unless she wants to choke herself. When I neared, I heard a man's voice from inside her room."

There was a small pause while outside Jing Lihua wondered if her cooking was really that bad? Maybe she should try to feed that crazy man something and he'll change his mind to chase her.

"So you want me to investigate if your speculation was right or not? And probably if this man is worth Jing Lihua or not?"

"I'm just worried about Jing Lihua. She has made a mistake once. I was unable to stop her back then. I don't want to make the mistake twice. I can't see her heartbroken. Don't you want the same thing?"

For a moment Jing Lihua's eyes softened. She felt so lucky to have such wonderful friends. She was so ignorant to abandon them in her last life.
