"Wu Xiuqin tell them I didn't say anything of this sort. What are you waiting for?" Wu Ying felt anxious when Wu Xiuqin didn't say anything for a long time. "The thing she said is so loathsome. I would never imagine saying something like that. I couldn't imagine the character of the woman President Li fancied would be such as to use such underhand lies. Jing Lihua if you do not care for your reputation at least show some reserve for resident Li's sake!" Afterall Wu Ying thought Li Zhiqiang was a man of reason and he wouldn't abandon two against one.

She greatly underestimated Li Zhiqiang's affection for Jing Lihua. But Wu Xiuqin didn't. She knew that man would bring the moon if Jing Lihua asked. And it hurt her but nevertheless it was the truth.

"Elder sister, you are my family and I love you. But I must not tell lies." Wu Xiuqin refused to meet Wu Ying's eyes. She looked like it was taking a great troll on her to betray her sister. Her acting was immaculate. "Forgive me."

"Wu Xiuqin!" Wu Ying was stunned. In fear, she quickly looked at Li Zhiqiang who had Jing Lihua in his arms. She noticed the subtle shift of his expressions and it terrified her.

"You threatened Jing Lihua even though I tried to stop you." Wu Xiuqin kept her head low and sobbed softly. She hugged herself and pretended to be wanting to hide. A virtuous woman who would choose honesty instead of her kins.

"How could you say that?" Wu Ying couldn't believe hat her sister would betray her. Getting a cold shoulder from Wu Xiuqin's side, she started to lose her calm. "President Li, I didn't say any such thing, I persist. You know me well. Have I ever appeared this sort of a vulgar woman to you?" Admitting her bad deed to the ferocious devil was akin to suicide.

"Then how do you explain your sister's words?" His voice was cold yet bone-chilling. Wu Ying even thought it would be better if he sounded angrier and louder. The unemotional tune gave her no idea of how angry he was. And the fear of the unknown is one's worst enemy.

"My sister is docile as President knows best. She must have been scared of offending Jing Lihua considering how much you cherish her. She cares for you the most and by bringing any guilt to Jing Lihua's name, she would have hurt your feeling for Jing Lihua hence hurt you." Wu Ying came up with whatever reasoning came to her mind in the chaotic state. She could swear under her sobbing and fragile mask, she could see Jing Lihua giggling momentarily before returning to Li Zhiqiang's embrace.

Wu Ying's anger rose to peak 'Are we a bunch of clowns to entertain her? Who does she think she is?' The temporary anger overcame her fear and made her openly glare at Jing Lihua.

"Li Zhiqiang, I'm scared. After today's incident, what if the Wu family takes offense? What if they target me? Wu Ying has a fiance in a top government agency. It will be an easy task for her to get rid of me. What am I going to do." Jing Lihua shrank back noticing Wu Ying glare as if intimidated for her.

For a moment, Wu Ying felt deep satisfaction. This was how the 'likes' of her should react in front of her. With fear and respect. Jing Lihua's act was so genuine that even Wu Ying was fooled.

Li Zhiqiang couldn't resist the urge to wrap his arm around her tighter and pat her lightly, assuring her. "You have no need to worry my love. I will never let anything happen to you. If you ever break as much as a fingernail because of the Wu family, it'll be the whole bloodline of Wu family that will pay with their blood." He said all that in an affectionate lovey-dovey look. As if talking about a honeymoon present and stroked her hair all he pleased. It was the first time Jing Lihua was so eagerly hugging him, be it for the act. He would surely take advantage of this opportunity as much as he wouldn't regret later.

"And what would you do with them?" Jing Lihua pretended to shy away from his touch and coquettishly asked with a quizzical look.

"Whatever my Jing Jing pleases. I will have them all at thrown your feet. I'll have them begging for mercy from you. You can do whatever you desire with them. You can torture them as much you want if you want to keep them alive that is." His gentle tune and cruel words were such a contradiction. "I would do anything for you."

To their horror, Jing Lihua giggled and blushed like they were flirting.

Wu Ying forgot anything about glaring or being angry. She didn't know whether to laugh and cry. The way that crazy couple talked was akin to two coldblooded devils.

Now she realized the worth of the woman in Li Zhiqiang eyes. She even realized the worth of the Wu family in the 'Devil's eyes. And a moment ago she had been planning to get rid of her and arousing his sister to make a move on Li Zhiqnag. By the looks of it, forget about getting Wu Xiuqin married to Li Zhiqiang, the best they could do was to disappear from the sight of these two and pray that they forget their existence.

When those two devils were done with their 'flirting' they both looked at Wu Ying. It didn't take her more than a second to fall on her knees. "President Li, please forgive me! I made a terrible mistake. I didn't know that this was the woman in your heart—"

"Your words betray you, Wu Ying. You always know very well I am the woman in Li Zhiqiang's heart. Even just a moment ago, you said for yourself I'm the woman he fancied. How dishonorable of you to change your words so soon." Jing Lihua's demeanor had returned to being a cold and collected one. She had dropped her weak acting outrightly.

While she said all those things Li Zhiqiang glanced at her from a side feeling something in his heart.
