Chapter 237 - Su Ci Yi's Decision

From hidden shadows of the pine trees, a silhouette of a person formed. The place where the sunlight is limited and mottled shapes of shadows formed on the ground sat a young woman with coal eyes and coated in black cloth.

Her rogue glued make-up and striking appearance is a total contrast from her former self. Different from the usual and gentle self she had back then.

Xiang MoMo changed. A lot of change that even her relatives won't be able to recognize her.

Looking at the two figures in front of her, with the one whom she was eyeing for a while, made her eyes rage in fury. Her chest wanted to rush out at that moment, if not for Baronette's words that rang on her head repetitively.

"Don't be in haste. Those who rush out are fools. In the end, a good strategy will determine the triumphant battle. Have patience and know your opponent's rhythm of movement first."

Those were her words. Like a glimpse of salvation that could pull her out of her misery.

Like a small chick, abiding the rules of her new mother, she stumped low and stalked them for a while.

Anyway, if she wanted to strike now while she was with someone, there will be a big chance of failure. The man who was with Su Ci Yi is not someone whom she can trample into. Baronette also specified to leave the man out of this mess. They had an enmity with the woman only.

" Do you want to open the grave and let them know this piece of evidence?"

Qin Yu squatted on the Bermuda ground and hooked his finger to the granite stone. There was a shade of acacia tree beside the grave that served as shed under the scorching sun. There were no people nearby, and the place was eerily quiet that Qin Yu didn't mind the volume of his voice and asked her,

"It's not needed." Whether or not it had a person buried under it, it's not polite to dig up one's grave. Much more if it's Su Ci Yi's graveyard.

Qin Yu looked at Su Ci Yi in disbelief.

"What are you going to do now?"

What's there to be done? She needed to be strong enough to duel on that person. Baronette seemed no plan to harm Su Ming first. When she was still wasn't this obsessed, she needed to level up and become strong.

Su Ci Yi remained silent for a while. Now that there was no one that will hinder her actions, Su Ci Yi can act freely. She could also get Mai to teach her skills and at the same time hone hers too!

She just needed someone to guard Su Ming and report every matter to her at hand.

Qin Yu didn't expect him to be answered. He saw Su Ci Yi immersed in her own world without minding her surroundings. He didn't know, but somewhat he was a little anxious about what was happening on her head now.

After a moment of consideration, Qin Yu saw Su Ci Yi opened her eyes. It's a stance as if she already come into conclusion and ready to execute it.

"Is there something wrong?"

Baronette glance at their president. Though she was fiddling with the pages of a fashion magazine on the table yet her gaze didn't leave Su Ming's expression. 

Su Ming pulled a bottle of mineral water and drank at the same time. Then, feeling cooled, she spoke, " Nothing. It's just that it seemed that my sister is really pitiful. Even if she's on the grave, many people are eyeing her name."

" It is about inheritance again?"

Su Ming nodded.

Su Ci Yi had a majority of the shares of the company. Now that she was gone, there wasn't any will made prior to her death and thus, this gave an inch to those people with innate greed and claimed whatever they can to the shares.

Although people who are after the portion aren't that many, those people are not to be trifle upon. They were some of their relatives working on the rival company.

It's just that she didn't expect someone would literally pose and steal her sister's identity just to get those, in which a very dumb decision.

Baronette got wind of it and almost knew what had happened. It must be that Su Ci Yi had come back from her vacation and found out that there is no position for herself anymore. That her dear sister didn't even recognize her own blood relative because of just a mere spell. This situation proved how mortals are inferior to her beings.

"Don't take it seriously. It's just that some of their pestering are a little overboard. Don't believe what they spout for its all a mere lie. It's not that there's any truth on their words." Baronette half-heartedly warned.

Su Ming didn't find it unusual and even nodded in confirmation. Not a hint of doubt appeared on her chest and casually believed on her.

The night was already dark when Su Ming came home from the office. Upon entering, she was greeted by her mother and father in the dining hall. Going upstairs on the second floor, she immediately changed for her nightgowns.

Her whole day is hectic with piles of doc.u.ments and a lot of issues regarding the company. Since she already ate at the nearby food house, Su Ming didn't bother to go down again. She'll just directly sleep after showering.

Su Ming grabbed comfortable loose wear on her vermillion cabinet, but when she closed the closet, someone wrapped their palm on her mouth and dragged her through the bed.

'Hmmm' The sound of struggling and muffling sound reverberated the air.

"Su Ming it's me."

Su Ci Yi had snuck inside the villa. The security is not on her level as she easily went in.

"You again!"

When Su Ci Yi pulled her hand away from her mouth, Su Ming almost shouted. Good thing she already cast a silencing talisman on the wall or they will be heard on the first floor.

" What do you want?" Su Ming glared with hatred at the trespasser. Her hand tried to grasp whatever it could take within the vicinity.

"I see. That Baronette woman had already brainwashed you. If only I could reverse the spell she used. But she's way too much in my league. I'm sorry, I wasn't able to protect you this time."

To show her sincerity, Su Ci Yi kneeled on the ground which made Su Ming dumbfounded. Su Ci Yi's serious expression and formal gestures made her heartache without knowing.

There's an inexplicable surge of enigmatic emotion deep inside her.

"What are you talking about?" Su Ming howled at her, didn't mind the strange emotion passing by. " Listen, crazy woman, how did you manage to climb and pass through the guards? This is literally trespassing and harassment! I can send you to jail this time."

Despite those verbal harassment, Su Ci Yi gently smiled at her. The smile of pure consideration and without any hidden motive.

"I'm not going to talk long. I just come here to see you. I will be going far away. I will make myself strong Su Ming. So by the time you came back, I can save you."

"What?" hearing her say that she would go away, Su Ming instantly froze. She was stupified that tears started to run on her cheeks. She didn't know why, but when she looked at the person in front of her, her chest tremendously ached. 

"I will be gone for a while. I needed you not to let anyone know of these conversations of ours. When I came back, I will reverse the spell on your head and retrieve your memory. I promised I will protect you... Su Ming."

What protection this crazy person is talking about!? Who's going to protect whom! And from what? What talisman! What spell!

But before Su Ming could get the answer, Su Ci Yi was long gone.
