Chapter 55 First Meeting With Second Years Gone Wrong!
"Um... I feel like I've heard that ability before, but... Are you from the Nine families Quinn? Particularly from the Voidspace family?" Triton asked suspiciously as Zera's jaw dropped to the ground.
One from the Nine family?
"Yes, that one..." Quinn said with a smile. It seemed his cover was finally blown away.
Quinn watched as both figures stared at him their jaw almost dropping.
Zera was shocked as apart from his Celestria family, he didn't know of any other family belonging to the Nine families. Now he heard of a second family, the Voidspace family and it seems Quinn was even part of them.
As for Triton, he was also shocked as the Voidspace family wasn't only strong but even ranked third among the hierarchy of the nine families. The Nine families were always very careful in mixing up with the EIA, seeing one of them in the EIA was shocking and they might be more than the eyes meet with Quinn.
The sound of the door being opened echoed as the tension got broken and they all stared into the distance.
Entering the cafeteria were two young men dressed in a dark-red EIA uniform, with two stars on their pockets, the sign of them being second years.
Zera's eyes narrowed as he felt the powerful waves of Mana undulating from both figures.
They were both definitely at the peak Star rank stage or above.
The duo also looked in their direction visibly shocked that they were even here in the cafeteria.
Zeras took one glance at them before directing his attention away as he faced Quinn and was about to ask him more of the Nine families when he heard the footsteps closing in on them.
Arriving before them, Zeras finally got a good look at their faces.
One of them had flaming red hair, with a handsome face. His eyes were flaming red and he looked like a beast in that uniform of his.
"Are you trying to rip off my brother right in front of me?" The voice was almost like a gentle whisper but the incredible amount of killing intent made the seniors' eyes narrow while Quinn stared at Zeras his face in shock before a hidden smirk appeared on his face.
Jim was visibly shocked by the killing intent the boy was oozing out making him unconsciously take a step back in fear but he regained himself as he looked at him before smiling.
"You're a very arrogant one, aren't you? Your friend is very wise but you have to be taught some lessons before you understand..." Jim said as his lanky hand extended forward towards Zera's shoulder.
"I believe you'll be going against the rule 16 of the New Cadets if you touched him..." The voice rang out from Quinn whose voice echoed out from beside Triton.
"It says the Seniors must not lay a single hand on the air of the new cadets for an entire week after they've arrived. Touching him will be a breach of that rule and I don't think you want to risk that with the number of people looking at you, would you..." Quinn said as he looked at the two waitresses who were witnessing the exchange.
Jim's hands stopped just an inch from Zera's shoulder as he slowly retreated them. He also looked at the waitress, a frown appeared on sighting them before directing his attention away and looking at the trio.
"It seems you can have your arrogance for a week. After a week, I promise your lives will be interesting..." A sinister smile lined his face as he stared at the trio who looked at him with blank expressions on their face except for Triton who seemed to have all colors drained from his face.
With an arrogant snort, the duo moved out of the cafeteria as Triton collapsed on his chair.
Zeras couldn't help but look at him strangely before asking.
"Don't you know you're only getting ripped off by them? What makes you so scared?" Zeras asked. Triton's way of easily obeying disgusted him from deep within his soul as he looked like the weak
children who were usually bullied by the other guys in the orphanage and were the ones who suffered the most.
A smile appeared on Triton's face as he stood up,
"I remember I have something to do at home. I enjoyed the walk. See you guys later..." Zeras watched him move out of the cafeteria as he soon disappeared.
"It seems there are some things you have to know about the EIA," Quinn said as he dipped one slice of the Trawl in his mouth.
"The EIA, it's not as simple as it appears..."
