Chapter 237: Changes In The EIA

“Thank you...” Zeras replied appreciatively before.

RUMBLE

The sound of rumbling sound rang out from none other than his stomach as his head grew as red as a tomato.

“You definitely didn’t eat throughout the entire well of the expedition, did you?” Instructor Moneca asked looking at him raised eyebrow.

“Well then what are you waiting for, dig in, kiddo...” The voice of Avan rang out as Zeras immediately dug his spoon into the gigantic plate of food.

He noticed as always, that Instructor Moneca didn’t eat much and the same could be said for the group, except for Annalise, whose second best after chewing gum was eating.Thê source of this conte/nt n/o/v/(el)bi((n))

But even she soon stopped, leaving a plate of food that would have taken an entire mortal family of three days to finish.

But it was like a well was planted in his stomach as he ate voraciously like a bear, even licking the plates before he felt he was finally satiated.

Done with the entire thing, Zeras felt slight discomfort, a result of his trousers tightening on his stomach.

Immediately, he buckled his belt, adjusting it a little before standing up and carrying the large tray, heading towards the dining area present in the organization.

“Wow, you’re back, Zeras.” The surprised voice rang in his ears as Zeras entered the organization’s dining, an old man of around 65 years flashing him an incredibly bright smile.

He was the cooker for the organization and Zera’s best friend in the place.

Why?

Because he cooks so well!

“Yes. Mr. Kim.”

“When I saw that gooey Egon coming to ask for such a large pile. I knew something was up. Just never thought it was actually you. It’s been a long while, how are you doing...”

Zeras said as he picked up a book, although he had read it before, and turned to sit on the sofa too.

“It seems you truly survived the expedition. You truly must have been through hell and back...” Instructor Moneca said, her usual serious expression slowly thwarting as she released a faint smirk.

“Actually it wasn’t as hard as everyone made it out to be.”

“Oh really...”

“Yes. The Nine family geniuses are actually pretty lovable. They are too naive and very proud. Although their strength truly is irrefutable. I was able to avoid most of them and even reach the Meteor rank stage quickly too. Those were one my saving graces...” Zeras replied drawing a curious expression on her face.

“What?” Zeras asked looking at her curious look as he felt her staring at him for almost ten seconds straight, and he could sense indecision in her crystal clear purple eyes.

“There’s a lot that you have to catch up on. The EIA changed massively in these last weeks.”

“Oh? Tell me about it...” Zeras said, curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

It is said that there has been the presence of strange beings in the EIA training base...”

“Strange beings? What do you mean?” Zeras asked with raised eyebrows.

“It said that there had been strange information passing through the EIA training base, which had unidentified suspects to them. Their true Intent and purpose have been cleverly concealed...”

“If there were strange beings in the EIA, I’m sure they would have been dug out since by the EIA and put behind bars before they could raise their fingers. Their presence currently must mean that the EIA permitted them to stay.” Zeras said drawing a nod from Instructor Moneca.

“You’re right. What they did is breach the privacy of the EIA...”

“But the EIA allowed its privacy to be breached!! why?” Zeras asked with a raised eyebrow. He already knew how it felt on somebody sneaking on his existence and he knew well just how much he hated such a thing.

“That is because, due to the breach, the New Cadets’ strengths are all rapidly growing. At a never before recorded level since the birth of the EIA!”

“What!!?”
