A few minutes after killing the Air Debbs, Draco found himself inside a cave in a mountain far away from where he last remembered himself, the place where he killed the Fire Debb.
"Ugh! What happened? I feel angry, unnaturally angry, as if I want to destroy the entire world. I feel angry to the point I fear that I cannot control myself any longer, and at the same time, I feel stable. What's this? What happened?"
[You have been consumed by rage, Host! Then that rage was intensified when you devoured the Air Debbs 8 minutes ago, and you have finally stabilized your mental state enough to think normally after devouring the Earth Debbs and absorbing their Eternal Stability racial trait. You are now like a volcano on the verge of exploding.]
"Ah... All of this happened in a few minutes? And I feel endlessly strong too. How many stats have I absorbed? Well, I'll check that out later.
For now, I think I know what to do," he thought aloud before he turned around, got out of the dark, misty, dusty, and rocky cave that went on for a good distance but that he could see in with his [Dark Vision] skill, and ran towards the direction of the Water Debbs.
The Fire Debbs had endless rage, the Air Debbs amplified whatever emotions one felt, the Earth Debbs were stable, and Water Debbs... They should be like water! Formless, shapeless; it can flow, and it can crush!
It can be as calm as an enlightened elder, or as enraged as a cuck who found out his wife cheated on him.
Draco became angry, and then angrier, only to stabilize and return to endless anger that was on the verge of exploding yet controllable. But once he became like water... he could transition from calm to angry in a split second! He could use it to his advantage! He could achieve harmony!
Something that even his not-so-dumb but not-so-smart brain could understand was a skill or state of being that could take him to greater heights.
And so, he moved!
With his fast speed, it didn't take him even 5 minutes to reach the place where the Water Debbs were clustered. It was a wide river, and all around it were grass and trees made up of water.
There, just outside of the river that could fit 10 football stadiums inside of it, 35 Water Debbs were sitting, eating, or playing with water. Draco looked at them and immediately lost control over himself. Anger overcame him, and he only woke up when the entire beautiful scenery around the river was in shambles.
But this time, he felt different. He felt in control. He could become angry in a split second and just as easily reach post-nut clarity sage-level calmness.
[Life Root: A root that can help beings with all four elements gain the Life element affinity through forming a connection between them if consumed raw, or be used to create various potions such as the Life Affinity Potion (doesn't need one to have an affinity with any of the elements), weapons, runes, and more...]
[<------------------------------->]
"Hmm... What is this? System, are affinities that easy to get?" He was confused as he saw a lot of things that could give affinity. If it was this easy to get affinities, people would be crazy strong.
[Negative, Host! The main ingredient to form anything that gives an affinity is an Affinity Stone, and it is extremely rare to come by. Usually, it can be dropped as loot by a boss from an S-Rank dungeon or above with an extremely low drop chance, thus making it on par with high-rank artifacts, and further amplifying the value of beings with an innate affinity.]
"Mhm, understandable. Let's eat this plant for now," he said as he crouched to pick the root before he thought of something and stopped.
He then raised his hand and called, "[Devouring]."
A red and black vortex shot out from his hand, and as he thought, the plant was absorbed.
[Devouring in effect...]
[You've obtained Life Affinity (E-Rank).]
[Devouring complete.]
