It was the morning of the next day, Draco who was looking out of the balcony with nothing on but a cloth to cover his lower body and a glass of water looked back to see a sleeping Devania.
Having conquered half of the Great Empire, Draco started reworking his plans so he could conquer the other half.
He was pleased to know that the project the Emperor was working on had finally ended and he was now gone to the Prison for an entire month alongside his wives.
By the time he returns, his mother will never be the same, his empire will never be the same, and he himself will never be the same.
One easy thing Draco could do was to kill and Devour before shapeshifting into all kinds of influential and important figures in the Empire.
Such as Clan Heirs, Clan Heads, Clan Members, Force Heads, Company Owners, and all kinds of other Humans with good Status.
This will allow him to stretch his hands on the most important aspects of the Empire, Its Most Influential Members, Its Economy, Its Food, Its Market, Its People, Its Everything.
He wasn't planning on ending it there. Conquering the Empire meant making the Forest Absorb it, Thus, he had to cross the biggest obstacle and that was gaining ownership of it from its owner, The Anomaly!
One thing Draco knew was that that guy isn't dying anytime soon, their enmity will go on for a very long time.
So far he only dealt with small fries and the most powerful of them capable of killing him weren't interested in doing so. Heck, he even managed to tame one.
But, he was sure there would be those he wouldn't be able to defeat and they wouldn't be able to do so either making them long-term enemies that would always cross each other's paths, harm each others' interests, and always be on toes against each other growing fast in power so as not to be overcome by the other.
Draco was growing fast! Too fast! He was growing too quickly to the point he removed any chances of characters who could have had their own backstory spoken off and feats to talk about from even being mentioned.
For example, the two 4th year students who were killed by Draco because they knew a little bit too much.
Those could have had their own chances to shine by pointing out Draco and causing problems for him while being all mysterious and strong at the moment before Draco rises back to finish them off once he grows a bit stronger, But Draco's wishes and path of strength he took was the most efficient.
That was one of Drac's Strong points, he didn't take things slow, he took the most efficient path once he knew of it and had the chance to while also being completely outside the danger zones.
From the beginning to here, he made less than 3 mistakes if we don't include the Dragon incident where he chose to ignore the danger because he was confident.
The first time he misspoke, and the second time he grew too egoistic in front of an entity too big for him which made things more annoying for him but not too big to hold him back.
Had he remained silent both times, he would actually be much behind where he was now.
The Capital was of unfathomable beauty with sky-high buildings piercing the sky in their own medieval style mixed with a little bit of modernity.
The people of this world loved to use wood on the exterior of their houses bringing a little bit of that woodish orange texture to the white and black of paint and the transparent glass.
There were only horses and other-beast-drawn-carriages traversing the neat brick flooring of the Capital as the rich of this world were capable of flying or traversing at speeds no car could outspeed, but there were other means of transportation that could mostly fly thus not requiring any changes to the good old medieval flooring.
Aside from that a little space engineering allowed for the instant transportation of workers. All over the City, there were stations that could teleport those of the working class to their Offices thus removing the need for trains or anything else.
Draco with all of the memories and information in his brain located some of the most important and influential figures and their Headquarters before sending down his ever so reliable Puppet Strings latching onto Citizens about to enter their Offices and from there... He worked his theater all the way up to the CEO.
It was fast and efficient.
For example, a worker of a Merchant Company dealing in trades between cities in the company was going with his day like normal on his way to enter the Office to start working when Draco sent down the Oracle of Strings.
Having no information on the Worker whatsoever Draco decided to create a new Chaos Spell that would help with this operation which he called {Chaotic Soul Search}.
Using mental, body, and soul skills to infiltrate the deepest secrets of an individual allowing him to know every single detail from them without Devouring them.
From there he controlled the Worker to go up and act normal sitting in his Office waiting for customers and the second the supervisor came the Strings were latched onto her next.
And that's where things got tricky, when the supervisor went back to her Office, Draco had to wait for her to interact with the Manager for him to move on and go up the ladder. It didn't actually take long as the two had deeper connections than those of work.
After the Manager came the director and then the Secretary and after she went back home the CEO was tamed.
This went on for several companies one after the other until Draco didn't want to do so anymore.
Taming a total of 123 Company CEOs was a job well done.
From what he managed to know in 3 days there will be an auction where the big heads will meet up and that's when he was planning to act once again.
In any case, the plan was going well.
So well, his enemies didn't know what was coming for them.
