Chapter 131: Leona!

The VIPs, upon seeing Draco and Co. taking their place in the banquet hall, started taking the initiative to reach them; they wanted to make connections with the famous Anomaly of the Human Continent and come to know of the new Tycoon that just appeared, Draco Valenstein.

Alexander was eager to make some new connections to open up more paths in this new Realm and in the Cental Continent for later, because, why not? However, Draco only ever wanted to have something to do with people who would actually help him, and this was why he set his eyes on a lone Leoness that was devouring the buffet as if she were starving for a thousand years.

Draco smiled and approached her slowly as the guests who were getting closer to him with their noble smiles and wine glasses were left behind with a half-broken expression on their faces.

Looking at each other, they immediately regained their composure and turned to the only one left behind, Alexander.

Draco was getting closer and closer to the beastwoman, and the latter didn't even care to look at him, until he was right next to her.

"I see you're enjoying your meal quite well, Miss." Draco put on a regular smile and spoke, knowing that his sweet and charming smile wouldn't work on such a rough lioness.

The lioness continued eating without caring what Draco was saying, as she didn't believe someone would talk to her, but a few seconds later, when she felt that they were the only ones there, she turned to look at Draco and made a few scans to see if there was anybody else other than her before looking at him once again.

"You talking to me?" she asked.

"I don't see anybody else here, do you?" he replied calmly.

"What do you want?" she asked before she turned her head to see the meals behind her, and as if she had an epiphany, she quickly turned to look at Draco with a defensive posture and aggressive facial expressions.

"You want my food? Dream On!" she shouted.

Draco almost snickered as all kinds of heads turned to look at the new celebrity that just made his entrance to the Station and the famous Lord adventurer "Blood Smeared Leona".

"Don't worry, I'm not here for the food." he said, still holding himself back from reacting to her silly reaction.

"What do you want, then...." She asked before she sniffed the air.

"Haa." Suddenly, she stopped laughing and looked at Draco aggressively.

"A mere Transcendent dares to act all high and mighty in front of me?" The lioness's oppresion rapidly spread through the hall as Draco, who was close to her, could clearly see the silhouette of an ancient mythical lion formed from her aura.

"A mere Transcendent or not doesn't matters. What do I have to do?" Draco responded calmly, not phazed in slightest by her Aura.

"Hoh? Very well, Meet me tomorrow in the Guild's Arena. if you win, I will join your party; if you lose... don't think of coming out alive." she replied as she retracted her aura and turned to leave the hall, not interested in her food anymore.

"Wait." Draco stopped her on her tracks.

She slowly turned to look at Draco and waited for him to speak.

"Shouldn't you tell me your name?" he asked calmly.

"Leona Lionheart. Remember it well, Demon." she replied, continuing on her path back to leave the hall.

Meanwhile, everybody who was here and looking forward to tomorrow's battle, heard her say her name and was surprised at what she said last.

"A Demon?" was the question circulating as if asking for confirmation, even Alexander wasn't spared from it, however, he just ignored it and continued what he was doing while glancing at Draco, who was looking at the table where Leone was eating.

'Leona Lionheart, huh? I look forward to having you in my team.' he thought.

"Well, well, I didn't think someone would actually approach that fiery brat of our beastmen race."

Hearing this, Draco turned to look at who just spoke those words, and what he saw... made him smile.
