What was a celestial? And what made him so special?
Simple: a celestial was like an overseer, a guardian of sorts, protecting the world from all kinds of invaders far too strong for the non-ascendents.
The Celestial also held authority over an essential part of the world. Draco for example, held control over a disgusting amount of laws, which would make him, one he ascended, a ridiculous existence against the invaders.
But why exactly was it that celestialhood was seen as just the beginning of the path forward?
That is because it is the minimum possible realm for a being to make a difference in the grander world.
Within his galaxy and universe, and within the jurisdiction of the Great Mother.
Becoming a celestial, as previously stated, was like when a baby was just born. One just came out of his home world and is set to explore the infinite void of space and leave his mark for the world to see.
However, when one was just born, they had to stay close to their homes and study until they were of age and capable of moving out.
This is also the case with the celestials.
They had to stay close to their homes, bless their potential talents and help them grow faster while also benefiting from their achievements since, aside from protecting their world from invaders, they cannot move out, thus the limited options to gain achievement.
Achievements, whether directly or indirectly caused by the Celestials, were the main source of their power.
Only with achievements can a celestial go up the tiers.
From a lesser celestial to something grander.
Achievements were like XP but for the Celestials.
If we see it like this, would Draco's XP Multiplier no longer be useless? Only time will tell.
One of the first celestials to ascend just had to mess with the wrong fellow, who later formed an organization that went on to become huge within the galaxy.
That organization was named the Anti-Celestial Organization, and some of the strongest celestials of the galaxy were beaten up by the genius that was its founder and became a part of it.
Thus, the Anti-Celestial Organization became one of the most influential within the Plektorian Galaxy.
The Anti-Celestial organization went on to make the celestials of Portalia live in the worst of hell; they made a prison within the heart of their world and imprisoned all world devourers, law-breaking celestials, and in some cases, even lower-stage beings such as Origin Emperors.
And now, the celestials of Portalia have been on guard against the anti-celestial organization, which has been acting weirdly lately.
The anti-celestials were named this way for a reason: their mission was to make the celestials live in the worst of hell; they were like the police and, at the same time, similar to rebels.
The founder of this organization was genius enough to form another way of advancement for celestials using the prison realm.
The prison was countless times bigger than what Draco had seen or destroyed, even the immeasurable distance and the hundreds of stations he destroyed were only under Portalia.
Millions of other worlds had access to the prison, and each one had thousands of stations.
The way the Anti-Celestials, who only had the cream of the crop within their ranks, advanced was by stealing the achievements of the imprisoned celestials, sucking every ounce of it until they returned to point zero.
By using this, they could even imprison celestials of all tiers, up to the point where they couldn't die anymore; at that point, the achievements they had were already used and could not be returned or stolen.
All in all, the situation in the celestial world was far more complex than one would think, and every step of the way, one had to control themselves.
Draco was nothing but a young man with millions of years of memories.
Would the knowledge of Fate and the others he devoured be enough for him to shape himself and survive within the real world?
